Serena is a great host, a sweet genuine person with a great sense of humour. She will help you with all your questions about Rome. The place is clean , the rooms are cozy and the prices very good .The location is amazing, for walks and public transport connections. A truly authentic Trastevere building, in a safe area even for women alone to come back at night.

Serena is the worst host ever. Lying about the availability of the room we booked and after we made the reservation she remembered to say the room we booked won’t be available at the first night. We were stock with no accommodation two days prior to our flight because of her lies.
She just ruined our vacation!!!

The host was really nice and informative. Good location. Not very good ventilation the towels never really dried even though we hung them on a hanger outside the bathroom.

If you are lucky enough to book a room here you will not be disappointed. Extremely clean facilities from top to bottom, very friendly and helpful staff but not intrusive, and excellent location. Loved the host’s recommendations for meals at all budget levels. When I return to Rome in the future, I will try to rebook here. Thank you for the hospitality!

Was pleasantly surprised by how nice the accommodations were. Great location in Trastevere, air conditioned rooms, clean bathroom, and a simple breakfast provided. Because of the shared bathroom and kitchen, it feels somewhere between a hotel and a hostel. But that’s not a complaint - it’s very well managed.

It's located in by far the best neighborhood of Rome. The b&b is very clean and the owner very friendly and helpful. She gave me lots of tips for good restaurants and such. All in all excellent!

Rooms are really clean and the place is perfectly situated in the perfect neighborhood for local restaurants. It's close to both the Vatican and the major attractions in Rome

I booked a room at Lost in Travestere because it was rather cheap, had good reviews and was conveniently located. A few days prior to my arrival, Simone (the manager) told me that there were electrical problems with my room and offered me a room in another B&B instead. It turned out to be very inconveniently located and was inferior to my original choice.
When I visited a friend who stayed at Lost in Trastevere, it turned out that there were other people in "my" room - there was no electrical problem! It is a bad business strategy to overbook cheap rooms and to lure customers into accepting inferior options instead.
Overall a very bad experience!
