The hotel has a great location, right next to the Vatican and across from a university. It feels quiet and safe. The breakfast setting was beautiful, but the hygiene details could be improved.

The location is good.
The soundproofing is poor. During my three-day stay, the upstairs kids seemed to be running, crying, and screaming all day and night. In the middle of the night, I could hear furniture being dragged, things being thrown, and the floor shaking. It was exhausting and annoying after a long day. The front desk was very helpful in communicating with them, but it didn't really help.

What a wonderful property! Our apartment was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar and breakfast room perfect. The Borgo Pio neighborhood is safe and charming and only blocks from the Vatican. Beds were a little low and I was worried may be too hard for me but we both slept well. Will stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Rome!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Trianon Borgo Pio! The location is unbeatable – just steps from the Vatican, Castel Sant’Angelo, and the beautiful Tiber River. We even walked to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and many other iconic sights with ease.
Our room was spacious, well laid out, and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette, which was a great touch. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and well maintained. One of the highlights was the breakfast – not only was the food delicious, but the rooftop setting offered stunning views of the Vatican. A perfect way to start each day!
Another bonus was the onsite laundromat, available free for guests – incredibly convenient for longer stays.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a central, comfortable, and scenic base while exploring Rome!

While we travel often in Europe, Italy holds the biggest place in our travel heart. But we have never been to Rome :-). So, we finally made up for it with a long weekend and stayed in the heart of this beautiful city right next to the Vatican walls at the Trianon Borgo Pio. And it was a great choice. The hotel is in a place of romantic but mostly quiet streets full of restaurants and shops. As a builder, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, even structurally, as if it were brand new. The layout of the apartment for our family of 4, with a large kitchen conveniently placed between the 2 bedrooms, complete with refrigerator, stove with oven to dishwasher, was great. Unprecedented. And no need to write more about the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel building with a terrace overlooking the Vatican and the Castle of the Angels, the photos describe it better. And the most important thing. The hassle free airport transfer on request and the very really nice and helpful staff at the reception of this hotel. It really was a very nice surprise for us in the center of Rome. I have absolutely nothing to fault the hotel and can only thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful 3 days in Rome.

Extremely clean hotel in both private and common areas!
Spacious rooms, good beds, quiet at night in the streets, so we had a very relaxing stay.
Breakfast was great with high quality produce, coffee as well, the staff excellent, and the view from the dinning rooftop balkony is absolutely amazing.
As for the location, we like the quiet areas and this is the best you can get in central Rome.
I would always come back to this hotel. And I will. Worth every cent.
