Booked over website booking for two nights.
The reservation was succsessfull, and therefore i drove right there, but 15mins after the reservation I've gotten an email, in which i was asked to give the time of arrival; wasnt possible to read that mail, i was already driving.
Standing in front of the given adress, I've tried to call the owner 19 times before calling website booking.
Even website booking tried to call the owner and after a few times he got on the phone, but wasnt able to speak english.
Then another italian speaking website booking employee tried to call him, but couldnt reach anybody.
After 70 minutes of trying I had to find another overnight accommodation.

Nothing special to say about the rooms; being a B&B, it's very convenient for visiting the city. However, I have to complain about the Proletario's lack of professionalism; we spent minutes waiting for a response. In fact, as advised during check-in, we had left our bags in the room before leaving, and they told us we should have left the keys in the room, but they would have opened the door for us when we were about to arrive. Once we arrived at the hotel (with the train due to leave in an hour and a half), we contacted the Proletario multiple times and even tried calling him back without a response. We understand the desire not to have a 24-hour reception, but at least a little more punctuality in responding to messages during check-ins and check-outs would be appreciated, especially since we had already given notice of when we would be picking up our bags. That said, the location is the only thing that deserves 5 stars; the rest is very poor. Having been in business for 20 years, I wouldn't have expected such serious shortcomings. Finally, I would like to add that, speaking to the concierge at the staircase, I was told that many other customers had previously complained about this behavior on the part of the owner.

DO NOT TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! They lied, saying the heaters would work, but they didn't. We froze in the cold, and when we asked for the air conditioner remote, they said they don't use it in winter, but they gave us the remote. THE NEXT DAY, WHILE WE WERE AWAY, THEY ENTERED OUR ROOM AND TOOK THE REMOTE. If these people can enter your room like that, they can also steal your belongings, be careful. They didn't respond to our messages either. The room was very cold, and everything they said they would fix on the first day, they said they couldn't fix on subsequent days. There's no WiFi, no heater, and the air conditioner is on very low power; I think it might not cool at all in the summer. The location is good, but just because the location is good doesn't mean you have to freeze to death at night. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!

The location is unbeatable, just five minutes from the Vatican... however, the room's upkeep leaves much to be desired. The walls were dirty, the bathroom smelled musty, and the toilet flush button was in a hole in the wall, attached to some kind of wire. Another thing I didn't like was that after we had already settled in and our belongings were in the room, they came in to do some repairs, which apparently weren't very effective because one day we had no hot water. The room is in an apartment with several rooms, each with a private bathroom, and a shared kitchen, although we didn't use it. If the room's upkeep were better, I would definitely return because the location is unbeatable.

I had booked for January 25th until January 30th. The owner was initially kind and courteous, but when I asked for information about a change, he was arrogant and didn't respond to my messages. I should point out that I only asked for information. Last night, I saw them refuse to accept two cards, which had the funds to cover the room and my children's college tuition. In the end, they canceled the reservation, leaving me without a place to stay and without any explanation, since he never responded. From what I've read, I'm not the only one who's had this terrible experience. Not to mention the paid check-in, the only property in Rome that does so. I advise against both the property and its management.

We came at 9 p.m. We had to fight to get into the apartment. He made us wait 1 hour and on top of that he made us pay a tax of 25 € that he allowed himself to put for everything that comes after 8 p.m. (this tax can go up to 40 € !!! ).
This scam b&b charges you extra for wiffi, does not provide shower gel or shampoo. leaves you a roll of toilet paper for 5 days and 2 towels it's a shame to charge 150 euros a night for so little service. Especially since it is an apartment to be shared with other tenants, therefore noise pollution. The furniture is dilapidated there are traces on all the walls and the curtains.
The man who greeted us was only huffing to show that he is not happy to be there.

I have checked booking and an offer of €100 appears. When contacting the owner to find out the price booking directly, he tells me that it is €105 and when I indicate that it is cheaper on booking, he raises the price on booking to €117, not letting me book at that price.
Sounds like a scam to me... For wanting to make a direct booking.
I'm not even worth going.
If they do that with the guest before arriving…. I don't want to imagine the service there. Regrettable….
