Good price at 80 euros for 2 people, but very outdated. Refrigerators are broken, can't connect to the tv and the wifi is disabled for it, and there is no noise insulation. On the bright side, the air conditioning was great!

The people at the desk and in the breakfast room were kind and helpful. After I inquired about the town and a little of its history the man at the desk gave me the most wonderful run down about the Papal Palace and Italian history in general. I had a blast hearing about the world from his well-considered point of view.

Staff are lovely, I'll admit. However, that does not make up for the ghostly atmosphere and simple barrenness of the rooms. A few bits of cheap pottery could even spice the place up a bit. You could probably make a few pots by scraping the crusted wallpaper from the rotted brick and moulding it together with some of the risotto they do downstairs. The beds creak more than the floorboards - which feel already feel unsteady; as if you could step down into your room and plunge to the first floor, through a tunnel of cobwebs. My walls were paper thin too - only constructed from flakes of dust and grime built up through the years - meaning I could hear every word that spat from the bloody Americans next door. Didn't get an ounce of sleep. Not that I ever would have been able to anyways: beside me was an air conditioning unit [at least that's what I thought it was] simply a metal, rattling box, only puffing warm air into all of my bodily canals every so often, continuously blowing my eyelids open every time they closed to take me away to dream land. The breakfast was decent. Good bread. Alright pasta - for Italy, I mean. Yet still, I wouldn't go here. Not even for a single night. The building is riddled with insects, ghosts and more insects. It has an old, simply lukewarm feel. Feels entirely ancient and pink - like a nursing or children's home. Genuinely creepy. If you're going to come - just be kind to the staff, I think they're all fully aware they're working in a rat-scavenged, sickening, rotting building - wanting to go home themselves. That's all from me. Don't come 'ere - save yourselves!

What a delightful experience. The hotel is not new by any means, however all the amenities were present that we expected. The rooms were clean and bright. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The shower had great pressure and temperature. And most importantly the staff am was super nice, helpful and friendly.

They appear to be doing renovations so keep that in mind.

As soon we walked into the lobby it smelled like a dirty ashtray. Thanks God, we had prepaid and check in was expedite. The parking was across the street from the hotel and it was in a safe location. The room was comfortable and very clean and no cigarette smell. Breakfast was simple but good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This property was well located, close to the train station and the historic center. When we arrived the street was very dark. The front desk person did not speak any English at all, and she could not find our reservation. I told her I had booked one room with one double bed and one twin bed. We got a room with two twin beds. After a very long day of travelling I had no energy to argue with someone who couldn’t understand anything I was saying. The ******* page says hotel has an on-site restaurant. We head there for dinner because we are starving and although there are many many empty tables, we were told “we are full”. I look around at all the empty tables and say “ you aren’t full, there are all these empty tables”. Now the guy yells at me WE ARE FULL. Ooook I then see pizza boxes and I ask if I can get a pizza to take away, he say (very rudely) NO! We go back to the front desk person who can’t do anything or offer any suggestions. They should not claim to have an on-site restaurant if it’s not run by the hotel and if arriving guest can’t get a table. So we are exhausted and starving and the front desk person was useless. Next day on-site breakfast was fine. This morning I was woken up early by the maid in the hall. I had the AC going and I had earplugs in and she was crashing around and woke me. Ugh. Overall our stay was ok. Beds were incredibly hard. Decor needs an update. Staff needs improvement.

Hotel hasn’t seen investment for too long. There are new lifts and scaffolding to do the outside, but the inside needs a lot of work to get things up to date. The environment around the hotel feels somewhat unsafe. It’s a bit of a mess, just like most of Viterbo.
But the towels were good, employees were friendly and the breakfast was okay. And it was cheap.

Breakfast is good, transportation is convenient, there is a train outside the window, but basically there are few trains passing by, the room is not big, it is better for single people
