Great hotel, affordable and close to main attractions in Sanremo.

It is made up of two buildings: the main villa, with bedrooms, a living room and a breakfast room, and a small annex where we were lodged. The welcome was formal and very detailed

The hotel is located in the western part of Sanremo, the historic center can be reached with a half-hour walk along the cycle path and the seafront promenade

The gem: a huge and very comfortable bed! The room is very clean. The smell of freshly baked croissants rises to the first floor repeatedly, making waking up very pleasant. Finally, the price is definitely affordable

Is located just off the main road near downtown in an enclosed convent setting so it's peaceful, quiet, and feels miles away from the busy City only 200 feet away. A private beach is located only a very short walk away

Only if you go before the season starts there could be facilities closed like the swimming pool. This should be mention on the hotel site. But there is a pebble beach that we used

Staff is great and makes you feel welcomed and at home. The view on the sea is amazing. They have an internal pool with sea water that they pump, fikter and clean from the sea available for use all day

Lovely old hotel in gorgeous location currently undergoing upgrades… the only issue we suffered was lack of water pressure in the shower (in the morning when there was high demand!) which made temperature control challenging

The air conditioning and television didn't work, the tap was constantly running, and the soundproofing was abysmal: you could hear everything, including the staff talking amongst themselves first thing in the morning

It should be called the Petit Royal Guest House! The facilities are old. The parking lot is very small. However, it is safe to park within the white lines on the road. If you have a Chinese stomach, don't book it

The parquet floor was in poor condition and creaked terribly, as did the bed. As a result, you could hear every movement of your neighbors

Exceptional Hospitality at Grand Hotel del Mare! I stayed at Grand Hotel del Mare Resort & Spa in March while travelling for business, and I must say that even as an experienced professional in luxury travel, I was truly impressed

There's air conditioning and Wi-Fi (though the latter's performance left a bit to be desired). The rent also includes parking and beach service (an umbrella and two lounge chairs). The beach is pebbly, as is the seabed

Partially renovated and with new furnishings (only the bathroom is in its original condition), everything was clean upon our arrival, well-equipped with bed linens and towels

The noise in the room, normal in any Ligurian hotel overlooking the sea, certainly didn't keep me awake at night. The little beach just a few meters away was lovely

It has a spa on the top floor where you can have a treatment looking out to sea through the jasmine and lavender. The staff members on reception were helpful and kind

The town has a historic area on top of a hill, a lovely bay and an interesting selection of independent shops — al within walking distance of the hotel

The bar area is quirky and lovely and the restaurant looks over the sea. The tables are set with white linen and the food is good

There is charge for using towels and lounge chairs in the pool even if you are guest! Not cool! Rather pay and visit the beach clubs across the street

Hotel is faded glamour and is tired. Room nice, view fabulous, air con brilliant, shower 🚿 no water pressure. They need to sort the sunbed issue. 10 euros per day is not a solution to not enough sunbeds

A palace of faded elegance Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much

Lovely old liberty style hotel. We had a nice corner room on the third floor with a beautiful view of the beach. Buffet breakfast is fabulous and parking across the street couldn't be easier.

The staff are nice, the room was located towards the back of the hotel and nice and quiet. Only downside was that The room didn’t have a kettle or a duvet/comforter as it did get a little chilly in the evening.

The hotel is low priced, you'll get a basic but outdated room. Beds could be better, shower is pretty small. If you don't have high standards and want a cheap room. It's ok.

Unlike many reviews read, the hotel met my expectations: room of adequate size as well as the bathroom. Both premises appeared clean and sanitized

What I DID like is that the guy came to greet us at 9. 30pm to give us the door code and charge us the tourist tax. He also took a photo of our documentation. The hotel is right in the centre, which is an advantage

What I did NOT like is that until you have made the reservation it does not say anywhere that if you are going to arrive later than 9pm you have to call the accommodation

The worst thing is the parking in the area, it is practically necessary to use a car park even at night, outside of regulated parking hours

Having to wake up in the middle of the night because of the music and noise from the neighbors in the room was not a nice experience at all (we had to ask for the music to be turned off twice, and this in the time slot between 03:30 and 04:00 in the morning)

The guesthouse is located in the heart of Sanremo, a stone's throw from the pedestrian streets and the Ariston Theater. It is on the 4th floor of a building with a lift, in the attic

Very convenient beachside hotel in the outskirts of San Remo. 10 minutes walking to the center through a special pedestrian alley. Free parking, pool and a very nice garden

The rooms include everything you could need or want and even the rooms without views offer a sea view. The dining is five star, with delicious complimentary canapes with cocktails

Transportation: It is closer and more convenient to take a bus. The train station is a little far away, but you can also walk there by taking a shortcut through the alley. Note that the entrance is far from the platform

We had the suite with the large balcony. The breakfast was amazing especially with fresh flowers and a reserve table for us! Classic style lodging.

Hotel Eletto is well situated amongst the shops and restaurants and a short walk to the sea front and beaches. The hotel has 3 floors of bedrooms and a floor for relaxing and the restaurant

The beautiful beach is a 10 min walk away, passing tempting shops, coffee shops and ice-cream parlours on route. I will definitely come back again

Front desk is always manned and the team are very helpful. There is a small elevator to take you upstairs, if you don’t fancy the stairs. Limited on site parking (need to book), which is essential if driving

I spent one night only in this nice room with view on the street. A bit worn out (a few marks on the floor, some dents in the furniture and a bit of rust. ) but overall decent, clean and in an honestly excellent position

If you want hot water, just let it pour and wait for it, it may take some time. Everything clean and coasy. Hosts stick to their job.

It’s very bare. Very few amenities and it was difficult to get in and out of the property.

Be sure to arrive before 20:00! late check-in isn’t available without prior arrangement but a kind staff member guided us through entry when we called her (italian lady she wasn’t speaking much English though we speak a few words of Italian

It's definitely worth the price

Check in takes too long! Bed was uncomfortable, mattress is rock hard along with the one pillow. Room was noisy, loud talking and mopeds racing up and down. Not enough plugs to use for charging, non by the bed
