Lora Hotel in Bordighera

Rooms were great, but THERE IS LOUD TRAIN TRACKS NEXT TO THE HOTEL! Other than that, the service was a bit odd, whether it was the Italian attitude or the weird procedures for booking and checking in.

As well as, there is nothing nearby. The town is a 30-minute walk, west. The store that says it is next door has been closed for years. The only option for food is a tourist restaurant.

Luxury location. Very spacious, clean and on the seafront. The apartment I stayed in is on the top floor and has direct elevator access to the apartment. It has 3 very spacious rooms, a very large kitchen equipped with all appliances including a washing machine. Coffee maker with capsules from the hotel. It has a very large terrace with direct sea view, equipped with a sofa and table for snacks or coffees. The cleanliness is impeccable. The beds are very large and very comfortable. It has air conditioning. All the amenities are 5 stars. Extraordinary for families with children

The hotel offers the option of staying in a room with breakfast included in the morning, or in an apartment located across the street from the hotel. We chose the apartment; it's spacious with two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and two balconies. Partially renovated and with new furnishings (only the bathroom is in its original condition), everything was clean upon our arrival, well-equipped with bed linens and towels. There's air conditioning and Wi-Fi (though the latter's performance left a bit to be desired). The rent also includes parking and beach service (an umbrella and two lounge chairs). The beach is pebbly, as is the seabed. The train station is not far away, but it's not a problem since the apartment isn't adjacent to the tracks. We were able to walk to the city center in 20 minutes. We had a great time and appreciated being a bit removed from the hustle and bustle typical of summer seaside resorts. The staff, especially one lady, were also very friendly. I don't know her name, but we often turned to her for any needs or information. Thanks in part to her, our vacation was enjoyable.

I came to relax and enjoy two weeks at the seaside. I found the cleanliness impeccable, truly, and the staff kind and helpful. I was half-board and on a diet, and there were no problems preparing light meals, always served with a smile. The noise in the room, normal in any Ligurian hotel overlooking the sea, certainly didn't keep me awake at night... The little beach just a few meters away was lovely.

Nice little hotel down the road from the main stretch of Bordighera, basic and nice. A/c worked great, the hotel was clean, nice little view of the sea and steps from a quiet beach and nice beachfront restaurant. 20 minute walk from the main part of the town. The train is apparent at night but the whole beautiful little city is nearby the train so just put earplugs in if you are so sensitive to it.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The staff was friendly. The hotel is old but renovated. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The bathroom was also very clean. The noise of the railway nearby did not bother us that much, it was more the noise of the traffic from the road and passers-by. The beach is very close and hotel guests can use sun loungers and umbrellas for free. The town centre is 20min away (on foot). All in all, it is a great hotel for the price.
