Grand Hotel & des Anglais Spa in Sanremo

- Stained bathroom towels
- Flies in the breakfast food
- Very limited breakfast with no quality whatsoever, no variety of products, including dirt residue from the fruit juice container
- Bathroom with hair from the previous guest in the shower, mold from humidity, and lack of hygiene in the space
- Dirty dishes (mugs) in the room with dried coffee
- Pillows with hair from the previous guest
- Mini bar without refrigeration - hot drinks

- I couldn't go to the spa with my partner because there was only one employee at the spa, so we couldn't have a massage together and enjoy one of the hotel's "amenities." Even though it was 11:30 a.m. and the space was dark with not a single employee to show us the spa facilities. During the recession, they told us to go there alone if we wanted to see the space, which was dark and with no one there to welcome us.
- The receptionist (name) was rude, unwelcoming, unfriendly, and unprofessional. She was the same person who attended to us throughout our entire stay.
- We were "forced" to pay €16 per day for parking at the accommodation because we made the reservation through the booking platform and not through your website, which would have made a difference of €8 per day. I chose to pay an extra €20 per day to stay in a slightly nicer basic room.
At 2:45 p.m., we contacted them to eat something, and they served us nothing, saying that at that time they had absolutely nothing to serve us at the hotel, not even a snack.

However, we are tourists, we know nothing about the city, and in terrible weather, we had to walk all over the city looking for a place to eat.
I decided to choose this hotel on the platform because it was rated 4 stars, had elegant photos, looked good, and, above all, had a spa where I could enjoy a nice moment on my birthday. I was very disappointed. I will leave this complaint on all possible platforms about this hotel, because with a good camera even a slum looks beautiful, but good conditions are much more important, where there is professionalism and a good future investment for its customers. I will never stay at this hotel again in my life and I will not recommend it to anyone.
I will change my accommodation right now. I would give this hotel 2 stars.

Very nice hotel but had no idea what they were talking about. I am gluten free and I was told I could get a gluten free meal and that they would accommodate and understand that. They walked out and gave me cold hard rice with sauce on it as pasta. When I asked if they could fix it they never brought it back after I had asked multiple times. Then they were supposed to give us potatoes with turkey when they brought it out to me it had gravy on it which I am severely allergic too. After that they were supposed to give me dessert I asked it if it was gluten free and they had no clue. When they came out 20 minutes later they said no and said they would make me something else. 20 minutes after that they had forgot and not brought me anything and when I asked they said they were preparing it. After I get a plate with a not ripe banana and a dirty and bruised apple. Definitely would not recommend.

Disappointed for the price. Booked 3 rooms for for family, and the welcome VIP package and children welcome package. Walked into a room that was barely put together. It was our 3rd time here and this was disapointing compared to our previous stays. Normally we would get some bath robes and slippers, etc. But nothing this time. Final straw, waited nearly an hour and half for the main course and the lobster was rotten in the lobster pasta. While they tried to make it right by removing the lobster from the price, we ended up hungry and everything was closed. I think the allure of this hotel wore off for a "four star" location. Think we will stay elsewhere next time. Americans should avoid.
