Great hotel in Liguria. Elegant interiors, a wide range of services and excellent cuisine. Modern SPA-center offers a great variety of treatments, including mud therapy and thalassotherapy. The hotel has multilingual staff.

Location: 1.5 km from the centre of the resort of Bordighera, between San Remo (8 km) and Monte Carlo (30 miles), 152 km from the airport of Genoa.

I spent the evening at this wonderful hotel during a business visit. What can I say: the hotel is located in a very beautiful place. It is very beautiful, cozy, clean, and well maintained. The views from the window are stunning, and the hotel has its own beach and a swimming pool. I would like to especially mention Ruslan, who told us everything about the hotel and about the hidden tariffs that include drinks with dinner. He also showed us the beach and the relaxation area by the pool, rather than just silently walking us through the rooms like others do. Everything was excellent. I will definitely recommend staying here with family. Thank you — you are the best!

Exceptional Hospitality at Grand Hotel del Mare! I stayed at Grand Hotel del Mare Resort & Spa in March while travelling for business, and I must say that even as an experienced professional in luxury travel, I was truly impressed. Under the kind and highly professional guidance of the General Manager, Dott. Alessandro Dorrucci, the hotel delivers hospitality at the highest level. Every detail reflects care, consistency, and a genuine understanding of what discerning guests appreciate. The F&B offering is excellent, and I would especially like to recognize the wonderful team at the Lounge. Ruslan and Lyudmila stand out for their warmth, professionalism, and authentic hospitality — truly above and beyond the ordinary. A special thank you as well to Nicoletta, the Spa Manager, whose knowledge and thoughtful advice made the wellness experience even more memorable. With only 65 rooms, the hotel manages to offer an impressive range of services and experiences. It feels like an entire world of possibilities thoughtfully created for guests who value quality, comfort, and true hospitality. A sincere thank you to the entire team.

I would leave a 5 star,even they don’t have a beach and it’s impossible to swim because of rocks and access to the beach is very difficult,but they don’t advertise it!
The hotel itself knew better days,definitely not 5 stars.But I would swallow all those things if I didn’t have an interaction with Arshad front desk receptionist.He was acting nasty arrogant even belligerent when I approached before leaving to clarify hidden the charges.It was a scary and very disappointing experience for us regular Italian visitors.Italians are famous for welcoming,but that was not the case with Arshad.He was pretending that he is is the boss.Front desk called after with apologies but unfortunately aftertaste is left.I would not recommend this place for stay.

Beautiful pricey property in a charming small town. We spent a week there and it was the perfect choice for us the multiple facilities meant that there were always options for something to do, and the property is very unique plenty of small nooks and corners to explore. I wouldn’t recommend it for children Staff are professional yet have a warm human quality, perfect representation of italian hospitality When you book make sure to book direct you’ll get a better offer, also make sure you ask for a renovated room because some are still dated, if you can get a room with club access do it, its a brilliant concept

A unique and beautiful hotel with its own distinct style of decor. We always stay at Grande Hotel del Mare when attending the Formula 1 in Monaco. This little oasis offers a wonderful respite from the noise and crowds of Monaco’s Formula 1-filled streets. The hotel boasts a very special decor with antiques from around the world. The outdoor areas are stunning, featuring a pool, a tropical garden leading down to the sea, and a private beach with a bar/café. There is a lovely restaurant serving high-quality food, a piano bar with live music in the evenings, a well-equipped fitness room, and a small but delightful spa area. Grande Hotel del Mare is a wonderful and unique retreat, providing a delightful oasis and an exceptional hotel experience.

With my partner we decided to spend some time in Italy and in France, we find this hotel, recensions looked nice so we booked some day’s in this hotel, and were not dissapointed, room and the views were very nice, hotel very quiet, breakfast very tasty, service very good, and fast. We ate lunch in hotel and also outside of hotel to try something different. 5 min drive and you are in center of city. But food at hotel was somehow better. Especially service. We tryed also hotel gym, is included in price, and also parking place for our rented car. There was also pianist playing music in evenings. Tea time with cakes, free candies. Lots of nice touches that makes experience even nicer. There is also hotel beach, that is also included in price. We love having bath in the sea. For those who don’t there is also pool. Only thing maybe that I should change is, make a bigger pool. But since I am a sea watter and beach person, I don’t care. But quite some people liked staying at that pool. Still is not crouded. My boyfriend really liked the quietness everywhere. Deffinitely should love to came back here in future. From nice aeroport we needed 45 min. So is perfect.

This hotel is like an old lady. She’s a bit faded and not what she used to be, but you need to respect her for her knowledge and experience. She knows how to treat her customers; It’s clean, really nice beds and the breakfast is amazing. The view is spectacular, but the whole place feels a bit run down.
