Staying at Ostello Bello Como truly felt like being at home. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming — full of comfort, good vibes, and amazing people. Everything is clean, cozy, and beautifully organized.

A special shout-out to Adriano — he’s simply the best! Friendly, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. He really made my stay unforgettable.

If you’re in Como, this is the best place to stay — you’ll feel part of a family from the moment you arrive. ❤️

I had such a lovely stay at this hostel and I truly recommend it! Even though I only stayed for one night, my experience was amazing and I would absolutely come back on future trips.

The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen is 100% cotton, which I really appreciated — it makes such a difference for a good night’s sleep. The bathrooms are very clean and warm, which is especially nice after a long day out.

I stayed in an 8-bed room and everything was very well organized. The whole building is beautifully decorated and has a really nice, welcoming energy. You can feel that care has been put into the space.

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. There’s also a garden and a terrace where you can enjoy coffee, tea, and water with free access. The kitchen offers free pasta, some vegetables, and other food options available for guests. I didn’t personally use this service, but it’s such a thoughtful touch to have it as an option.

It’s also a great place to connect with other solo travelers. They organize events like karaoke and comedy nights, which create a really fun and social atmosphere.

Overall, 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

I've stayed at over 25 hostels and this is one of the best. Outstanding. Location is close to both the ferry port and walking into Como restaurants and shopping. Rooms are clean and nice and you can do your laundry there (for a fee). My compliments also to Joana for her excellent and helpful customer service.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! The location is perfect! Just steps away from a 24/7 Carrefour Market. Everything was spotless, the amenities were great, and the staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly and always willing to help. Adriano C. was especially helpful, along with many others who made my stay feel so welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

The staff was great here and the common areas are cool. Good location to walk around Como. Appeals to a younger crowd and the bar will be lively. I stayed 2 nights in a 6-bed room and unfortunately I could not wait to leave. Good people, but the room was worn out, some fixtures not working. The bed frames have metal storage bins under them which cause obnoxious screeching noises when being accessed. I personally do not like when hostel bathrooms are located in the room, especially when the door is right next to my head and ventilation is poor. The shower is at floor level, causing sloppy wet floors. The bathroom overall was approaching dingy. There was only one common-area bathroom available for this section as far as I could tell. I also got bit at night with a suspiciously linear set of bites. I can't confirm I saw any, but I strongly suspect. Not the worst experience here, but I think they could do way better specifically with improving the rooms.

By far the best hostel experience I've had while travelling. The location is perfect and it's the main activity hub for travellers to Como. The staff are awesome. Especially Adriano, who even offered to take us on a free walking tour of the city!
Definitely recommend staying here if you're on a budget or just want to meet new people!

Everything was nearly perfect but they charge 6.5Euro to store your baggage after you check out which is never happened at any hostel I have ever stayed
