I had a good stay at Hotel la Vignetta. The room was spotlessly clean, well laid out and everything worked. The bed was large for a single room, and very comfortable. I appreciated the coffee in the room and the coffee machine downstairs. I had plenty of big fluffy towels and the staff were friendly. The area was very interesting, a walkable distance from the city centre and very close to the amazing bars and restaurants by the canals. Also very close to public transport. Only minor things I noticed; there's no lift and the luggage store had minimal security. It would have been good to have a fridge in the room.

This hotel deserves more than one star, it’s better than some three stars that we’ve stayed in before. Lovely little room, ours was on two floors - bed upstairs & toilet, desk etc downstairs - loved it. Comfortable bed, quiet, lovely staff on reception, good location with bars/restaurants nearby, tram stop outside or a 25 min walk to the subway. Had a really enjoyable experience

This was a lads trip for a long weekend and our first visit to Milan. Knowing Milan was so big we wanted to be in a good area for nights out and this hotel is 5 minutes walk from Navigli - the canal area with lots of bars and restaurants. In addition it is also only a 10 minute walk from the Metro which is direct from Linate airport. I got help from the hotel with directions and breakfast options (there’s no brekky at hotel) before arrival so they were very helpful. Smooth and quick check in - we shared 3 rooms so also given multiple keys for access. Rooms cleaned each day and fresh towels even though only there 3 days. Tea & coffee facilities in room & good bathrooms & showers. Everything you need for a short budget stay. Friendly helpful lad on reception and free water and Nespresso coffees too.

Very clean rooms. Good location. Safe place. Friendly staff. Thanks for everything. Very close to tramvay and bus. Its very close to the navigli canal. 25 minutes walking distance to everywhere. You can Find a good pizza and pasta around the hotel. Thanks for everything.

Lovely little hotel. Everything is kept clean. There is a small safe, kettle, decent linen and towels, staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre, or tram 3 will take you there in 5. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent value for money.

Basic but perfectly adequate hotel, clean large bedroom and bathroom, excellent location for duomo, 30 minute walk or short tram ride, 10 minute walk to canal district for lots of bars and restaurants, a little noisy from the road early in the morning due to trams and general traffic but this is a major city after all, didn’t bother us as we’re early risers but perhaps consider requesting an off road room if this would be a concern, staff are very friendly and helpful, be aware of a ‘city tax’ charge, we paid €10 upon leaving, didn’t bother us but I didn’t know about it, I would definitely recommend this as a good location, budget hotel.

The hotel is very basic but adequate for a one night stop. The room was not attractive but the bed was large, clean and comfortable. There were two working plug sockets. A large mirror, however in the corner where the light didn’t work and no sockets near the mirror. The bathroom was large, clean, lots of clean white towels, soap and shampoo. The location is excellent for public transport and a 30 minute walk to the Duomo.

The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the Duomo which is the main attraction in Milan. There are plenty of local transport links nearby - metro, tram, bus etc. and you can use these to travel to local train stations too (so easy to get to the airport or other destinations e.g. Como). The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and was well equipped - comfy bed, air conditioning, TV, toiletries. It was comfortable for an overnight stay and would be fine for longer if all you wanted to do in the room was sleep and shower. They communicated well with us about our late check in (at 2am!) and allowed us to leave our bags so we could go off an explore Milan the next day after we’d checked out.

The hotel is close to everything. It was a short enough walk to the Duomo and the neighborhood was great. There is a parking garage next door or parking on the street. The inside is a bit dated and the hotel is very basic. The room has air conditioning and the bathroom was a good size. However, it is extremely basic. To use the elevator, you go in a back entrance and use the building’s elevator. The staff were friendly and it was a good experience overall.

Stayed for five nights. The room is big but the light is not good. It is near the train tracks and the noise is a bit loud, but it basically does not affect the rest. The uncle at the front desk is very kind. It is a pity that there is no refrigerator. The bathroom has a lot of hot water. The shower is very comfortable. The bed is also clean and tidy.
