Best Hotels in Milan

This is the third time I have stayed here (for business) and I feel compelled to write about it because it really is very pleasing and such good value too

It's difficult to understand why the hotel still has relatively good reviews. It's extremely old, the swimming pool hasn't been renovated in years, but the bathroom was truly disgusting

Location is just great, just opposite of a tram station. With the tram you are in about 30min in the city centre. The hotel is very nice, rooms are big enough, bathroom is spacious, you have everything you need

The staff everywhere in the hotel is extremely nice and always happy to help. The breakfast was rich, plenty of options, i especially enjoyed one flavoured yoghurt. The breakfast room is beautiful

You will not make a mistake if you book this hotel

Dated hotel, no AC in Autumn, so I have to leave windows open. It was loud at night and I work up at 3am and 5am. Apart from that the room is cosy and clean. All staff are friendly and very professional

The room is definitely not soundproof because I heard everything my neighbour was talking about, but the receptionist handled it

the only downside is the parking..Other than that, worth staying if visiting the area

What a nice and comfortable hotel, the bedroom is functional and good, the restaurant at the 7th floor serves excellent food and lots of parking space in front of the hotel

Arriving during a cold January evening at the hotel with a most kind and warm welcome from their night porter Ali. With a quick joke and friendly conversation he made me feel right at home

The breakfast was excellent, and it's very close to the train station, which was super convenient

I wasn’t a fan of this hotel mainly due to the fact that I was put in a room right next to the lobby entrance which was very noisy also the way that the room has been laid out while very minimalist is totally impractical especially when you try and have a shower

There’s a lot of vagrants on the streets at night time and they don’t stop shouting which comes straight through the windows when they’ve stopped the noises the internal lobby has music blaring quite loudly and the Hotel staff talk quite loudly also so it’s best to not take the bottom floor perhaps on a higher floor

I was here for a business trip during Fashion Week, so the price was a bit high, but it was still a better value compared to other options

Very well located. The staff is very welcoming and nicer the hotel room was clean and had all amenities necessary.

The location is also pretty good. Very close to trams and tube station which takes you in 3min to the Duomo. The area is not the best/poshest but we didn't feel unsafe (with 2 little kids)

The room was a good size, not cramped at all, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept really well. The breakfast was exquisite and didn't feel wasteful

The front desk service was excellent, and it offered good value for money. Overall, a great stay experience

Contemplating with other hotels in central station area because we will go to other city by train. It was quiet a walk around 12-15 mins but since I carry a big luggage so it takes more times

We arrived early at 8am, but the room wasn't ready, so we deposited our bags at the hotel and walked through the beautiful Parco Sempione park to reach Milano Cathedral, Duomo, and the rooftop before the tourists arrived

The hotel is beautiful, clean and spacious with very friendly team! Great Job! They also have a complete amenities (toothbrush you need to bring). Near to metro station and tram if you want to go to Duomo or other areas

Breakfast is amazing, location is perfect. Separately thank you for bottle of water in the room, so simple, but extremely important 🤩👍

Great location, very close to the cathedral, but the facilities are a bit old. The heating was super strong, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling too hot

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, and top-notch service made my stay at Galileo Hotel in Milan truly unforgettable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making it a great base for exploring the city.

The breakfast was delicious 😋 so, so, so good! I'd still recommend it, it's just that with the Winter Olympics approaching, the prices are very high

Overall service is good, especially the porter. Room can add a kettle or some complimentary tea bags or coffee capsule.

Excellent location! The steak at the lobby restaurant was delicious, and the room was great!

Room is big and has all necessary items, nice table for working. TV is inside of the furniture and it is good idea! Good breakfast, good choise and friendly service. Cafe near reception does not working all the day

Good location and service for business trip.

The breakfast was pretty good, but we had to chase down the servers for some coffee

But the breakfast was really good, also we were able to leave our bags during the day in the reception, for free, which was really handy and nicely managed

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Right next to the hotel is a railway station that connects you with the airport and the cities you want to visit

Check-in is extremely fast, the gentleman at the reception immediately offered to have a lunch box prepared for us when we mentioned that we were leaving early for Verona and heading to the airport on the day of check-out

My wife and I spent two nights here in May and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast had an excellent selection

The Hotel is in an excellent location, not too far from the Railway Station and we walked back from the Duomo so great from our point of view. There are plenty of Cafes and Restaurants close by too, we enjoyed Da Gigi

The hotel was a bit small and old, but the service was pretty good. I stayed in what seemed to be a top-floor room, with the window open to the top floor

The location is a bit far from more of the touristy areas of the city, which can be good or bad depending on your preferences

We have just spent 5 nights at this hotel as a family of 3, we had a fantastic stay! The room was very spacious and spotless with a cute balcony, comfortable beds and linen, breakfast was great with plenty of choice, my son was delighted with the pancakes and syrup choice! Great location for us, we accessed the city through the nearby park as we enjoy walking

The staff were all fantastic and really made the stay, nothing was too much trouble, so polite and kind, my son loved going to the bar on an evening, especially for the little snacks provided with the drinks

In a very convenient location and it’s close to central station within walking distance. We can explore the entire city easily with convenient access. The room is so clean and neat and tidy with good service

Excellent location: Hotel is 5 mins walk from Milano Centrale. Good breakfast: not the best I had in Italy but still it’s good and value for money  Cleanliness: top notch

Excellent customer service: my kids needed room change after 1 night as their room is just above the street and near tram, too noisy to sleep

The best part was the free mini-bar! The only downsides were that the shower stall was a bit small and the water pressure wasn't very strong

Excellent location and bedding, the most important things for traveling to us. The Rooftop bar is a bonus, we had a great time.

Amenities:  all good except for shower area - Small even for my Asia petite frame

A Best Western with more marble. AC didn't work, and when it did. it couldn't go below 21 and would not stay on overnight. Mosquitos and flies in room causing us to wake up with bites

Hotel Marconi is classical hotel. There is the nice bar. You can look at night view. You can use Aqua del Elba's shampoo and shower jel.

In addition, the hotel has a gym, but it is charged separately

Room was clean! A bit outdated. Older receptionist wasn't too chatty or nice. Didn't Even say welcome when we first arrived. Ladies at breakfast were also really friendly

This is a cracking hotel, quite luxurious, beautiful rooms, and a really good price for Milan. I've stayed here twice, and both times, I really enjoyed the accommodation

Room was missing some of unnecessary things. Staff are very good, at reception, restaurant and housekeeping Breakfast had everything we need for a good start, we reached late one day and they allowed us to have it

Hotel location is just 3 mins walk out from milano centrale. It is very near to the metro as well. Toilet shower is opened, so it will make the whole toilet wet. Other than that all is good.

Hotel is very good service have many restaurants nearby Lorenzo's is very good service very friendly I will come back again

My family and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! We had the best experience and any time we called the front desk they were so responsive. Sara was amazing and so welcoming each time we entered the lobby

Very convenient to go around via Metro and walking distance to the train station. Many good restaurants near the hotel. But the room heating may not be working properly and we feel cold in the cold winter nights

The service was good, they are attentive and greet you when you come and go. However, only 1 card is given per room. I wanted an extra card to make it convenient for my partner and I but was refused

Several great bakeries and restaurants within two or three blocks, like Osteria Papà Nicola, Nico Quick Bite (next door), Caffè Pascucci, Ristorante da Gigi, Crazy Cat Cafe (meet their 9 cats), and Caffè Napoli (most amazingly soft and delicious filled croissants ever)

Clean, location and service is great. Just the aminities like toothbrush, kettle, coffee packet nees to call and ask. The service is great as there are sincere to help you what you want. I LIKE the hotel

Perfect location!! it is very near to Milano central station. Room has limted space, while a rest room has quite large. Hotel is clean, staffs are friendly and helpful. Absolutely reccommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was truly excellent

The Hotel was actually near the Centrale Station. The Receptionist, all of them are wonderful!! Bless them cause on December 7, 2025, around 1:50 PM, I arrived at Porta Garibaldi and took Metro Line 2 to Milan Centrale

The room was good but not very clean especially the sofa. They do not give slippers. The rooms are quite big for the city and new that it the best. The hotel i very near to the central station and the metro.

Room with good condition, very nice and heartwarming employees and the location is good of you wanna travel around Italy

Good if you spend most of your time exploring Milano not that good if you want to get work done in your room

As I struggled with my luggage, two men were walking closely behind me. One of them—short white hair, around his 40s—suddenly grabbed and lifted my luggage without asking, speaking to me as we went up the stairs

we even had a meal in the restaurant Petit Pierre and found the food and service incredible. it is also located in a fairly quiet part of the city, so noise was never an issue

The hotel is simply unique that you will love it

One of the best things about the hotel is its location — just steps away from both the metro and tram stations, making it very easy to get around Milan. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city

I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights. The location was good, just a 15-minute walk from the center. However, while this hotel carries a 5-star rating, I found the experience fell short of expectations

In the beginning had a small issue with the room but thanks to Trip. com's support team and the staff at the hotel, it resolved quickly

Wouldnt have an issue staying again if in the area

Except the fancy bathtub, it didn't feel like a 4 star restaurant as I am disappointed by lack of business facilities, lack of gym n sauna facilities usually present at 4* places, average food and outdated lcd tv with bunch of apps that need logins

Very surprising that there is no free water bottle n they keep only mineral waters in the fridge no other drinks like come but counting drinks(just water!!!) daily before checkout seems like a over hassle

Accurate information about facilities are usually not mentioned properly online. No one is available at the bar to serve drinks for more than half the day, no drinks available in minibar in room

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They always chatted and helped me with transportation etc. But the restaurant food was awful, I would say nearing on disgusting.

No facility when I wanted to spend time to have a business meeting in the lobby and it's noisy with loud music which prevents from taking any business call

Best little coffee station ever. There are some nice all you can eat buffet Asian options right across the street from the hotel and a quaint cafe which makes the best espressos around

There's a water and coffee machine in the lobby for free usage. I felt sorry for the breakfast (for 25 EUR pp), but you can get a good offer for only 5 EUR at a nearby cafeteria

Had great time, we enjoyed our stay. Good transportat links and some very nice spots to eat around. Would gladly stay again if visiting Milan again.

Love the layout of our junior suite. Bathroom is beautiful and WiFi was strong signal. There is a nice cafe inside the hotel and during after hours they have light snacks and beverages for guest

I found that the water kettle was oily and the coner of the room and curtain was a little dusty. Other than that it's a good place to stay and easy access by public transport

It is very mice hotel. The workers was so friendly and help us with a tickets concert, without extra charge. The locations is perfect, 15 min aways from the Duomo by metro and 8 min away from Navigli by foot.

The location is good, it is near Naviglio Grande where is beautiful and many restaurants around. The staff are nice, they are very helpful to call taxi and even contact the hospital when my son was sick in one night

Hotel Rafaello, Milan – ★★★★★ I had an excellent stay at Hotel Rafaello! The rooms were very clean , which made us (me and my daughter) feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the visit

The room environment was very good, and the hygiene was excellent. Although it looked a bit old-fashioned, it was actually quite nice

The hotel is great, and there's a delicious breakfast every morning. The bed was a bit small, but the room was well-equipped. There was no kettle, but it did have a mini-fridge and a TV.

A very satisfying stay! The room was more spacious than I expected, and it was exceptionally clean. I especially want to praise the mattress; it was incredibly comfortable

The location is convenient, with easy access to Milan’s city centre thanks to tram lines 1 and 14 right nearby. This made exploring the city simple and stress-free

Hotel Capitol – Simply Good I booked a small room at Hotel Capitol for a work trip, and my stay was truly excellent

While the price wasn't the most appealing when I booked, I found it to be quite good value for money once I checked in. The location is decent; it's a bit of a walk, but perfectly manageable on foot

The hotel was in a good location. As this is located in a good place , the size of the rooms were very small. I got the single bed size but it was comfortable and clean

I was also able to check in early by arriving a bit ahead of time. The service was excellent, and the place was very clean

The room was quiet and peaceful, with a window that let in fresh air—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The Wi-Fi was outstanding, thanks to their Wi-Fi 6 setup

The highlight is their giant pancakes! They're as big as washbasins! I've never seen such a big pancake before, and I'd give it the Best Pancake in Milan award

Our stay was excellent! The hotel was very clean, and our triple room was perfectly spacious for three people. It was also very quiet — we couldn’t hear any noise from outside. The staff were extremely polite and helpful

Great location Great location if you are visiting Amazon, it’s literally across the road! Their restaurant is very good and their rooms are comfortable….albeit they can be noisy if facing the road.

Great stay at the Avani hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. Great size room for a couple and good quick breakfast. The hotel location is really good to get around.

The hotel locates at a corner, easy to be seen, near the Eataly restaurant which is also a supermarket where you can by eatable goods.

Very convenient, safe and clean place. The apartment is quite good but the access is complicated with the need of multiple access code and thus a cell phone connected. The space is small, although the bathroom is nice

What an incredible stay, I mean without a doubt pleasing to look at, what a beautiful building, but the staff are fantastic, polite, friendly, nothing is too much trouble, they help however they can, I can't even single one person out as everyone was fabulous
