Hotel Duomo in Salo

The great location is quickly offset by the surley reception and indifference to booking errors made by the hotel. Another real downside is the poor air conditioning and erratic water pressure. Members of our group who stayed there complained of the shower water completely shutting off only to be blasted by a shot of cold water. Kind of strange. But the most annoying thing we encountered there was the gleeful indifference exhibited by the w(b)itch at the front desk who happily explained to our group that some of us would have to change rooms and give up the water view rooms we had booked for 3 days.
Food at restaurant was decent but plan on spending 2.5 hours and very spotty delivery of food. Some main course first and quickly others were not served for an hour at the same table. Very chaotic place.
The location is truly superb though.
Memory foam mattresses too
