This was such a wonderful surprise! We did not know this smaller lakeside village had great amenities so close to the hotel! Cool bars, great gelato, wonderful lakeside promenade

Beautiful boutique hotel right on the waterfront. Extremely warm and friendly staff. Owner Afreddo was most generous with the wine tasting!

Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional- by day 2 they were recognising us by name. We took advantage of a couple of the boat excursions offered by the hotel and these were extremely well organised

The hotel is perfectly managed, the staff all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodating sometimes fussy needs for food off the menu

We thought Cannobio was where we needed to be… wrong this is IT. Perfect service, amenities, great view room

We stayed for a week half board, we benefited from the trips organised by the hotel to see the local sights, which were perfectly managed again making our stay amazing! Thank you to all the team, catering, bar, reception! The food was delicious, the nicest desserts I have ever tasted, presentation was always amazing and service couldn’t have been better

It's a bit cold; the air conditioner isn't working very well. Everything else is fine.

Modest hotel, relative clean. Interior carpet damaged at many points, wc lacking with towels, damaged lighting. WiFi can be occasionaly very slow. Use to be better in the past.

The experience was excellent, with a delicious breakfast! The service was superb; my friend lost his bank card in the bicycle parking area, and a staff member found it and brought it to our room! We were very grateful

Alright, maybe it is a bit far from the center, they have a great price, a very rich breakfast buffet, and clean rooms.Definitely recommended

Impeccable cleaning! Clea pool, no hassle with getting a space. Nice poolbar and serveral areas for sitting 7 reading / having a dring (upper terrace; lower teracce; pool bar area; garden etc)

Receptionists were superb. So friendly & very helpful. Couple of the bar staff were also very nice. Beautiful gardens & pool area.

You shouldn’t miss the connection to the sister hotel and a swim in the indoor pool over there

Just to know on beforehand: there is no direct lake contact from Hotel Simplon then you have to use the sister hotel Grand Hotel Dino (can be reached with the private 200 m underground tunnel between the hotels)

We want to come back! Me and my wife had a fantastic stay at Hotel Simplon by Lago Maggiore. Very nice staff and manager at the desk; smiling and attentive. We got a great room with sea view

Hotel and Baveno are beautiful. Very clean. Walking distance to lake, train and downtown.

Lake view is beautiful. The room was spacious with a shared terrace. Breakfast offering was very good and above expectations

Plenty to see and do in the area with cycling, swimming (at the free public beach literally across the road), kayaking, SUPs etc. Also just a 25 minute walk from the centre of town with all of its quaint charm

Excellent service from the gentleman in charge Alberto and his family and staff. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The 3 rooms we had were lake facing and all were extremely clean and modern

The hotel has an excellent restaurant which we also recommend (we recommend the pork with apples or the black spaghetti, what a delight!). Ping pong, bike rental, outdoor games for children

Wonderful hotel in a stunning location. It made for a truly memorable holiday. The staff make you feel welcome and at home, and the restaurant is great and caters for Coeliacs

Water pressure is good and the rooms were well lit. The location is also ideal, being very close to the lake and a few minutes walk to the town centre and the Sacro Monte

Great hotel with spacious clean rooms, a private beach and pool and great facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is slow wifi :)

Spectacular view from the terrasse, location is amazing. Food is average, but the tagliata di manzo was perfect. Room are nice and clean. The pool is well designed but the water was extremely cold.

You are always prepared for the images to be better than the reality but this was the other way around. The hotel, the rooms, the beach and the grounds are stunning

Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend

We loved our stay Beautiful hotel and great location. Pool and beach was amazing :D We liked the tennis but it costs extra. You need a special gym key card from the reception

Food was excellent and had so much choice! My only negative point was having to queue for the hot drinks machine in the morning but it was only an extra 5 mins max per day, we just aren’t used to it!

I can’t praise this hotel enough. Rooms are spacious, well designed and clean. Staff were really friendly and efficient

The location is excellent for skiing. It is possible to ski right to the front door and it is a short walk up in front of the hotel before you are able to put skis on and get down to the lifts

The staff were all excellent and were accommodating. The food is excellent and there is a great choice, albeit not if you are vegetarian/vegan. During my stay the hotel heating was very hot

The food was delicious and varied and the hotel has all the facilities for a perfect skiing holidays, very nice spa area and lounge bar with a great selection of hot and cold drinks

It is not possible to turn the underfloor heating off which means the room gets very uncomfortable to sleep in. We had to open the door to the outside to let cool air in

Convenient location. Less than 10mins walk to Egyptian museum and royal palace of Turin. Absolutely delicious breakfast. Staff is helpful and very welcoming.

The location is very good. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the film museum, which has Cameron's works. The hotel is also very clean. The room is large in Europe.

Superb location half way up the mountain. Nice rooms, small pool/ sauna and ski in ski out. Beware though, that in the evening, unless you have a car, you are trapped into eating in their (expensive) restaurant

Very nice, clean hotel. Fantastic location during all seasons. Breathtaking views. Indoor swimming pool is great too.

The only caution I would give is about the last run down to the bottom gondola Station, this is steep and icy in places, so if there hasn't been much fresh snow for a while, and you don't feel up to the off piste, then much nicer to take the gondola down

This despite the fact that there was only six inches of fresh powder five days ago! To put it simply Jefferau not only has fewer skiers and boarders, but the tree cover and orientation help to keep that snow fresh and soft for longer

Un séjour agréable dans un super hôtel personnel au petit soins, on a pu avoir un sandwich malgré une arrivée tardive à 23h. Cependant la route pour monter à l'hôtel est dure en hiver. Je recommande d'aller y séjourner.

Jefferau is simply a great mountain to visit if you're in or coming to Bairdonnechia. Had two excellent days of solid off piste snowboarding there so far, and planning on more before the holiday is out

It was a bit chilly when we visited in September so we only spent a few hours at the pool, but it is a lovely place to relax with a book (plus the bar is a nice touch)

Nice balcony which in the evening gives you the possibility to have a wine or even dinner as we had. The swimming pool was OK but technically is not that deep for swimming but you can do sun bathing

We loved it, all the bar staff and waiter s were really professional and friendly. Bit of a walk into Stresa but lovely along the lake side and convenient for the boats. Only downside is the busy road is a bit noisy.

My husband and I had a splendid stay at Hotel Della Torre. Visiting Stresa was the last leg of our trip so we were looking for somewhere scenic, romantic, and relaxing to end our Italian travels

Our room was clean and charming, especially with the small terrace, perfect for a latte in the morning and wine in the evening, featuring stunning views of the lake

This hotel checked all of those boxes and more! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was a wonderful perk and delicious

We enjoyed a bottle of wine with dinner and had an excellent server Giorgio, that helped us select it and provided great service!

The room was spacious and fairly well-equipped, except there was no kettle for boiling water. The room was clean and hygienic

This hotel is perfectly located near the train station, the rooms are very clean and have a modern feel. I love their "wood" floors, I enjoy those better than the carpet even though they are colder during the winter

Lovely place with a kind innkeeper and his wife. First off, Senior Giaconne only speaks French and Italian, no English but, even though my wife and I speak high school French, communication was not a problem

If you like history and charm couple with a bit of eccentricity, this is the place for you. The inn does have a small pool but it was too cold for us to swim there and it’s not heated. There’s also an exercise room

But one of the highlights is the breakfast room and the breakfast. My wife and I were the only guests at the time but Senior Giaconne and his wife put out a spread that could have fed a dozen people easily

This was a wonderful experience in one of the best wine regions of the world. Our balcony room overlooking vineyards was stellar. The wine and food experience was to die for, breakfasts and dinners

Family run for years! No way to do it without a car though and watch out as GPS can take you down some dirt roads which can be scary! The dirt roads were better than Houston roads but that’s not saying much and a bit treacherous in the dark!

The perfect Piedmont stay Our stay here was incredible. It is such a beautiful location, off the beaten path. Rooms were gorgeous. Monica had great recommendations for things to do in the area. Cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful property nestled among vineyards about 10-min drive from Alba. Beautiful area and attentive staff. You definitely need a car to visit all the nearby towns and wineries.

I had an amazing few days at MiaClara Relais! So relaxing and made me slow down and just enjoy! Wonderful food recommendations and the breakfast on site was great (included!)

The breakfast is wonderful, but please note that the Wifi signal is not good there, as the Wifi is from the office to serve the whole building visitors

Conveniently located right in front of Lake Orta with lake access. Lovely pool (did not use however). Shower and bathroom a little outdated

Convenient location Great location- five minute straight path to the main piazza. Overall the room was clean & comfortable. Beautiful mountain/lake/pool view. Only complaint - the mattress was awful

Environment: It is a cozy and relaxing environment. The overall environment is very good. The breakfast is simple but not casual. There is a beautiful lake and island view across the street

Rooms with balcony overlooking the pool and lake. Lovely walk from hotel to town square along alleyway. Recommend swim in the lake and lunch on the terrace. Hotel organised free return transfer to train station

Brilliant for ski in and ski out. Reception could be better at explaining things on checkin like 1. Pool times and location Takes a little time to figure out, otherwise location is brilliant for skiing

Bar and restaurant are also nice, the food is plentiful and of a reasonable standard, though the coffee is very poor for some reason, and there is the occasional dish on the menu which I wouldn't chose a second time

Probably the best stay location for skirting in Bardonecchia. Room was a bit outdated but clean and well maintained. Meals presented are the most delicious i ever had! Definitely coming back next season!

All that aside, Hotel Rive seems to cater more for families, so the dining room can be a little rowdy in the mornings, though the atmosphere is generally a relaxed one

In terms of access to the Mountains, Hotel Rive couldn't be better placed, as both lifts and the free ski bus are within a minutes walk

Five days into a week long winter holiday staying at the hotel Rive, and I'm pleased to have found the place confortable and welcoming

Clean, hygienic, and comfortable.

As a student of EDISU scholarship, this is a decent dormitory to live. The location is good for me and it takes 25 minutes to reach my university by walking. Also, supermarkets like LIDL and Bennet are close by

Only one issue is that some students make a mess in kitchen after cooking and eating. They don’t value the ethics and mannerisms of a shared kitchen. Otherwise everything else is just fine for me

the staff woorking there is really helpful and attentive, very nice, the only probalem is the WIFI connection is extremely poor

Who knew Biella was such a sophisticated town. Great art and food. Our hotel was right in the middle of town and also quiet and safe. Highly recommend The Augustus!

A lovely restaurant, on site and I would highly recommend half board, as the food was lovely as were the serving staff. It was not central, but a pleasant walk, of around 20 minutes into the centre

There’s also a car rental agency just a block away; we rented a car and had a wonderful time visiting Lake Orta and Bellagio. Restaurants are a 20 minute lovely walk from the hotel

I visited here, as a solo traveller and stayed in quite a large, comfortable, beautifully presented single room, well priced, which I felt incredibly comfortable and at home in, with a lovely spacious balcony, looking partly over the gardens and covered in beautiful flowers

The smell of perfumed Jasmine permeated the whole place. They had a small, but lovely and peaceful pool area and a lovely bar, where you are treated like royalty

The hotel is in a beautiful location. I was fortunate to have a room with a balcony facing Lake Orta. The water was very clear and I could see large trout swimming past. Hotel service is good and staff are helpful

I have had better food in my life, but the fare was adequate. The area close to the hotel is pretty quiet, so if you fancy a holiday off the beaten track, I strongly recommend this hotel

Only visited the restaurant, great location overlooking Lake Orto. Interesting menu with a wide range of choices without putting too much on the menu. Portions vary a lot within the course

For example pasta, one dish is perfectly sized for a 4 course menu, the other dish is a platter full and almost feels as too much. All in all a nice place to come again when in the area

Pleasant stay right beside the lake and only a 10min walk into the centre of Stresa. Convenient free onsite parking, nice indoor pool, communal areas and a great breakfast

Right next to the pier, you can easily take a cruise around the lake. The hotel provides free parking spaces, but you can ask the front desk if you can't find them

Pool area was great with extra sunbeds up in the gardens and despite going in the school holidays it always felt relaxed and quiet. There was never a rush for sunbeds and even when returning to the pool

The Hotel is a traditional Italian Hotel in terms of style and decor. Our room (201) was on the second floor and had a lovely view over the gardens, pool and local church. The small balcony was beneficial

afer a day out there were always spare sunbeds. 4m deep at both ends so perfect for bobbing about and to cool down

The Hotel is situated in an excellent location, only minutes from numerous restaurants and small quiet bars, and close to baveno port where regular boats can take to other towns on the lake for less than €5
