Great location and amazing gardens to relax in. The bar has an amazing selection and great views over Lago Maggiore, the restaurant serves high dining also with view of garden and lake. The breakfast room next to a good selection again overlooks the view.
Walking distance to the town centre and to the amazing Restaurant Milano. The rooms are quite and comfortable.

Our room was a very small corner room and looked nothing like the website. Room faced the street and seemed damp when you woke up in the morning and possibly moldy. My husband came down with a bad cold on our last day at this hotel. Drapes and bedspread looked very dated and in need of replacement. Location of hotel was at least a 10-15 minute walk to town so if you have mobility issues it is challenging.

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon. We had the most amazing time. The hotel, the staff, the food; it was all perfect. The view is incredible and it’s a short walk from a lovely little town with amazing restaurants and cafes. From there you can get a ferry to other towns around the lake for a very low price. While we were at the hotel, a particular hi-light was the amazing bar staff. They took really good care of us and made us feel so welcome. I had my first dirty martini here and it was delicious. I felt like James Bond all week!

Really cool ‘Grand Hotel Budapest’ feeling.
Super stylish experience!
Little pricey, but you are looking to spend your holiday in a calm & elegant way where you feel like you are in an old movie set, this place is for you!

Special shout-out to the staff, who were really going out of their way to make us feel good and did everything possible to assist us.

Location was good.
We stayed in Apartment which it costed 800euro for one night, but they said in Apartment they clean just once in the 3days.(We stayed for 4days)
We didn’t have enough Towl and toilet paper. Apartment is 150m far from Hotel and there was no Phone in the room which it can contact with Reception. And we went with Dog, they said our Dog is Big(Golden Retriever) so it cost 60euro per night, but they are not aloud to go in the Garden in the Hotel and private Lake (ofcourse I clean always the Poop) There is no place to do Pipi around 300m. We pay for 4night 240euro Just for our Dog. This Hotel is absolutely not for Dog!
The women in the Reception was not bad but she was like student who she works just in Sommer. The way she talked was not professional. This was really expensive stay without no service.
I don't know about Hotel Room,but Apartment is really to extensiv wirhout Service.
And Swimmingpool was just until 7pm and Check-out was 10am (I feel its to early)

Never come back.

I stayed here for a long weekend. I was attending a wedding nearby.
Positives: stunning location, beautiful architecture, clean, amazing food, that view!!!
Negatives: AC is not strong enough to keep rooms cool. When we checked in, there were five people behind the front desk. The elevator is adjacent to that desk. We had very large suitcases and not one person offered to help! There were no other guests waiting to be served. This is unacceptable. Coffee at breakfast was weak. Fake flowers at the entrance and in the lobby? This is a big miss! Four stars.

We had a week at this beautiful hotel from 9th to 16th June. It was part of a 40th wedding anniversary. We were given room 310, a deluxe suite, which was lovely and spacious with two balconies overlooking the lake. All the staff were very friendly, in particular the team on reception who were extremely helpful. We ate two nights in the restaurant, and what was a really nice touch was the manager came round and spoke of all the guests who were dining. The hotel is in a peaceful location right on the edge of the lake and the architecture and furnishings are of a classical design. It is conveniently situated only about a 8-10 minute walk into the main square of Pallanza where you can get the ferry to the various little islands and Stresa. There are some nice little restaurants on the square and one which is just before the main square called II Burchiello. To all the staff and manager, a big thank you for making our stay memorable.

Majestic
