We planned to stay at Artisan Maison for three days but our plans changed. I sent a message to them two weeks before our arrival of this and assumed that we would not be charged. I then received notice that my credit card was charged for the stay 8 days before check in date. I tried contacting them through their "welcome@..." email address but it was "Mail undeliverable." I tried both phone numbers listed on their website, booking .com, VRBO and by their own billing service, several times, and no one answered. Their website says they are available "24/7", which is simply wrong. Finally I filled out a form which was just above one telephone number that did not answer. The next day I received a message that they do not allow cancellations 8 days before check-in. They may have a nice facility, which we are locked into finding out, but do not expect any of the listed modes of communication with them to work. It remains to be seen if Artisan Maison recognizes that they have a reputation to maintain, have some room for communication improvement and will refund our money because of that.

I found this accomodation by chance, and I was very happy with my chois. The instructions to get to the apartment are very easy. The location was also perfect for me. It's in a quiet street. Many restaurants nearby, in a save area. The rooms, are fun and each one has a unique touch. I felt the first time like at home. You can use the comun area as well. There are only 4 rooms, also a reason for having more privacy. All was great for my stay. When I come to Palermo again, I will return for sure to this Appartement. Thank you Mauricio.

The first hotel where I felt at home.
Amazing design, clean rooms, good service, perfect location, everything is 5/5. Very friendly and helpful manager of the hotel, who plays the piano beautifully. And a cherry on top is the lovely receptionist who is the cat🥰
Highly recommend!

Great Apartment with soul. Design is very interesting and with the style. The location is nearby city center and the coast. Host Maurizio is very helpful and professional same as the apartment staff.

This place is magical and beautiful. I loved my stay here and to say all of this is an understatement. The breakfast is exceptionally good! The eggs that the staff and owner make are so good. Niccolino, their cat, is a sweetie and makes the space feel warmer. Our room was absolutely beautiful and clean! The bed was comfortable and we also had AC in the room. Maurizio and his staff were so kind to us and gave us tips on how to arrive, depart, where to eat and go all around Palermo. I am already planning to come back soon. I am hoping to stay in a different room next time since they’re all themed. If you love architecture, art, design and Italian charm, stay here. This is not a resort and so you have to also help care for the space. Places like this are rare so I hope it continues to be available for decades to come.

The property was quirky and obviously under development. The quirkiness was quite nice, and the owner provided breakfast to order himself. We needed a transfer to the airport on the last day, this was facilitated for us, and the owner offered to prepare breakfast especially early in the circumstances. The one problem was the shower door was missing (due to an accident with a previous client), and this was directly open to the room. In the circumstances and due to my size, this was quite awkward for me.

A wonderful place to stay in the heart of Palermo, walking distance to the old city with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby
