We stayed here for two nights after a guided tour of Sicily. One night as part of the tour, plus an extra night (Friday and Saturday). Firstly I'm not quite sure how this hotel has been given four stars and secondly (in all my years of travelling) I have never experienced such disturbing noise from outside the hotel. Perhaps the provided earplugs on the bedside cabinet should have been a clue. I asked in the early hours if we could change rooms, but none available. To be honest I don't think it would have made any difference. Reception staff said they were aware of the issue and the police had been informed in the past, but nothing has been done. The area immediately in front of the hotel was strewn with rubbish. We have reported our concerns to the hotel manager and tour company. Not the happy end to our holiday we were expecting.

DO NOT STAY HERE ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY!!!!!!! If I could post a video, I would. Just outside the hotel is a small square where dozens locals with motorcycles and cars congregate and play music so loud you cannot escape it. Earplugs and noise cancelling headphones do not make a difference!!! This is not an exaggeration. Staff informed me it is EVERY WEEK! They should stop at MIDNIGHT but no guarantee and of course the police do not come! It’s Palermo. I had been touring and walking since 8:30 this morning and cannot get sleep. Result: ruin my next day,! How will I be compensated?? Friday was bad but Saturday night is INTOLERABLE!! If this was not happening, this hotel would get at least a 4/5. Breakfast is a disappointment. Lots of pastries. I am beyond belief this noise level is tolerated by neighbours. My intro to Sicily is so tainted. It cannot possibly get worse.

The location is poor despite being close to the city center, on a dangerous and littered street.
The service is absolutely awful. After a night out we arrived at the hotel at 2am, the receptionist was lying on the sofa, asleep. We rang the bell several times before he woke up. When he finally woke up after several minutes outside, he opened the doors saying we should ring the bell. We replied that we did it but that he didn't hear because he was sleeping. He denied it, saying he was awake.
During the early morning at around 7am someone came into our room while we were sleeping. It was the hotel maid who was about to clean the room while we were there. She immediately left when she saw us. Unfortunately she decided to clean the room next to ours, making loud noises and slamming doors and windows, which prevented us from sleeping. What's worse is that at some point she started arguing with his colleagues, screaming with no concern for the guest. I had to go out and ask them to stop, but they kept talking and making noise.
The hotel experience was really disappointing due to the inadequate service and rudeness of the staff.
In the end we were unable to sleep, nor did we have breakfast as we decided to leave the hotel right away.
I wouldn’t recommended to anyone.
