It was very scary experience to come in the late evening. The door to hotell was hard to find. At the morgong there was a nice person at the reception.

This bed and breakfast is in a super interesting old building. Please know that there is no lift and you have to carry your bags up the stairs. Also know that there isn’t always staff on site.
There is a nice breakfast area with limited options including yogurt, fruit, and pastries. The staff is available to make you coffees or tea. The other odd thing was with the booking. I tried to reserve 3 triple rooms each with 2 people. I didn’t notice that the booking showed 1 person in one room, 2 people in one room, and 3 people in the other room. We all got different sized rooms at different prices. So just double check your reservation with the hotel before you arrive. Make sure they know when you are coming so they will be there to let you in. The hot water in our faucet didn’t really work and the shower is just a hand held one that wouldn’t stay up on the pole. You can ask for a hair dryer if you need one, we didn’t realize this until we were leaving. It is in a great location which made some of these annoyances minor. The staff were helpful and the hotel was kept very clean.

Simple but clean accommodation in a central location close to bus and train stations. Amazing entry courtyard snd ceiling fresco in the breakfast room, as the building was originally a prince's palace...

Online description didn’t focus on it being a 700 year old building with lots of stairs to climb for older guests.

Poor value and terrible access
It was very difficult to get inside when we arrived - nobody answered the bell when we rang and we only got in when a resident came along. When we did get inside we were dismayed by the state of the courtyard as it was very hard to pull our luggage over the extremely uneven surface; and then what made it worse was the steps up to reception!! This was not mentioned in the listing.
Whilst the room was OK it lacked a lot of things you’d expect in any basic hotel. The air conditioning did not function properly in our room.
The only saving grace was that we were quite near the station and were able to walk up Via Maqueda to find somewhere for dinner.
Overall a poor experience for the high price we paid for the room!

It is a very old mansion. The outside is dilapidated. I didn't expect the bathroom and bedroom to be separated. It was very inconvenient to walk up dozens of steps with luggage. The new decoration is relatively clean.

Perfect location to discover Palermo and close to the train station. Andrea was a great host - makes you feel at ease from the start. The breakfast was served on the terras and was delicious. Room was very big and designed with a sense of style. Thanks a lot for your warm welcome and having us in this great B&B.
