Early Dec 2025: Arriving in Palermo as a solo female traveler on a budget left me feeling a bit uneasy at first. But this B&B turned out to be exactly what I needed—safe, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. After navigating the chaos outside (and feeling a bit intimidated), stepping inside felt like a breath of relief. The lovely owner immediately warmed my heart. She lives on-site, which made me feel secure, cared for, and completely at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommended 🥰 Plus point - they have a classic elevator and a little lovely balcony 🥳 And thanks for those comfort hugs 🙏

I stayed 2 nights in late March. Very nice hosts who deliver breakfast and coffee to the room at my preferred time (thank you! Love the hot coffee and warm crossaints). No problem even I don't speak Italian. Spatious and comfy room with a great view except for a small shower stall inside my bathroom. Originally I was concerned about the neighborhood but it turned out fine. It's beautiful inside the historic building. The price is excellent! Would stay there again. Close to beautiful attractions in Palermo.

Nice hotel next to bus and railway station.
The hotel is located at the 5th floor of an old building, quite beautiful in the interior.
Albergo Cavour is a small hotel, managed by a very nice host.
The rooms are big, clean, and beautiful, moreover, the beds are pretty comfortable.
The only possible downside is that the street outside the hotel is a bit noisy. However, the rooms are equipped with A/C. Hence, there is no need to keep the windows open even in summer, and with the windows closed, the noise il 99.9% canceled.

Probably there are hotels closer to the most turistic areas, but I definitely recommend this.

Enjoyed my stay. The room's decor was beautifully furnished with antique furniture, tile flooring and french doors which opened up to a large balcony with a wonderful view of Palermo. The bed was small yet comfortable. The room was cleaned daily which included a fresh set of towels. The bathroom, just opposite my room, was very clean with a large step-in shower, tiled walls and flooring, a bidet, and plenty of hot water. I paid for a continental breakfast--chose croissants, yogurt, and coffee--for five of the mornings of my stay which was delivered to my room. Everybody I met were friendly and accommodating. Just a wonderful stay.

What a gorgeous little hotel! Prompt communication, friendly service but foremost it is a beautiful building right by the train station. The room has high ceilings, gorgeous floors , comfortable bed, very clean and a stunning view from the balcony.
I would return in a heart beat. Don't overlook this little gem , Maria will make you feel just like at home.Grazie, alla prossima !

A very nice host and super friendly.
Location is around the corner of central station.
Rooms, bed and airconditioning were comfortable enough to spend the night. Would recommend.

I enjoyed my two week stay here. So much Aloha! I felt at home here. I fully recommend this place to anyone.

Nice view towards the ocean as well. I can see the ocean from my place in Honolulu, Hawaii as well. It's extremely important to me. They kept my place extremely clean and offered breakfest in my room!
