Hotel is super close to downtown and shops and restaurants as well a public transportation employees at front desks helpful wit tips for transportation and dining

Isabella made our check in and our stay very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was small for a triple bed room. The location of the hotel allowed us to explored the historic center and gave us easy access to transportation to farther areas. We felt comfortable leaving our car in street parking nearby.

The only benefit is proximity to sites. The room was relatively clean but dated and included a large cockroach for companionship. Bed was comfortable and windows are well covered to ensure darkness. The lights and ac and fridge only work when you are there to keep the power on with the key card. So forget about chilling any perishables or drinks. The safe did not work and we were not given any guarantee of repair or alternate security. The water is not potable, ie drinkable. Bottled water is available on request The shower alternates between very cold and scorching and the stream is erratic. Wifi is impossibly unreliable. The front desk staff are genuinely friendly and available from 8 am until 8 pm not 24/7. Free espresso coffee is offered in the lobby, and guests can pay for coffee and pastry at the coffee bar downstairs. Parking is not available on site although you can walk to various parking lots and pay 18-30 Euros daily.

Upon arrival in the room my partner pulled away the pillow and a large cockroach scurried away. Luckily she’s not squeamish. This was our first indication as to the condition and quality of the hotel.

There was no potable water in the room which means you have to use bottled water. The staff was generous with water but locked the fridge after 8pm until 8:30am. Sort of like camping.

The shower was the worst ever. From freezing cold to scalding in seconds and then back and forth between the two. You could feel the pumps kick in and then blast you with scalding water. Not to mention that the fixture is coming off the wall.

There is NO parking! The street parking is always full at 1euro per hour. The are private garages a distance away that cost 18 to 30 euros per day. We had to haul our baggage down the street. Huge pain.

All-in-all not a great experience. It’s not what the pictures on the websites show. The location is ok and close to Teatro Massimo.

We were the last room in the hall and the furthest away from the wi-fi device. The performance was terrible. We used data from our phones instead.
