Villa Jole Taormina in Taormina

Okay, it's a 5 minute walk uphill to get to the main road. But that's about the only thing you can say about it, the hotel is truly lovely - the rooms are charming, clean, with a beautiful bar, AMAZING views (see picture) and.. Makes you feel like you're on vacation! This is not luxury, this is not style. This is a boutique. And this is by far one of the most wonderful stays we have had in a long time. The breakfast is quite delicious and the rooftop view makes it even more impressive. On top of 2 very nice apartments we got a 2 bedroom apartment. Frankly, it's really nice, spacious, beautiful and modern. Recommended. It's just a 2 minute walk from the main hotel. Nice swimming pool next to a small garden. It's good to relax. And the last word to the owners. There were 11/10 of them. Friendly, helpful and... Frankly, it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Come on, you won't regret this choice! **If you're interested in a lush choice, this hotel is much more in the spirit of Taormina than San Domenico, which I visited after it had just opened under 4 seasons.. Grand.. And, unfortunately, now a little soulless.

I loved this villa with everything! I didn’t want to leave it😅Everybody was so nice, the owner personally showed us inside, and we got an upgrade to a junior suite for free!🥰

It's not luxe, that's not the style. It's boutique. And it's surely one of the loveliest stays we had in a while.

Breakfast is pretty tasty and having it with the rooftop view makes it another level experience. On top of 2 very nice suites we got the 2 bed apartment. It's frankly really good, lots of space, modern pretty and.. Recommended. It's just less than 2min walk from the main hotel. The swimming pool is nice and relaxed close by a little garden. Good to unwind. And one last word to the hosts. They have been 11/10. Welcoming, helpful and.. Frankly made the whole experience ever so more enjoyable. Go, you'll not regret this pick!

** In case you were wondering on a lush pick, this hotel is much more in the spirit of Taormina than the S. Domenico which I visited after it just reopened under 4seasons .. Grand.. And sadly now a little soul-less.

One of the nicest and best run hotels I have ever visited. They have thought of everything with fantastic welcome and service, beautiful furnishings and to top it all have the most perfect scenic location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Carlotta. We were in a two bedroom apartment that was very nice with an amazing sea view. The staff was so accommodating and took care of everything. The breakfast was delicious and the prosecco welcome on the terrace really set the tone. We enjoyed the location because its away from the Corso, and so not as busy. We would definitely stay there again.

Where to begin...

The rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Little details are never missed.

The breakfasts were fantastic and my goodness, what a view. Etna one side and the Mediterranean the other.

The staff were next level, so helpful and always so friendly. We bumped into the hotel owner and his daughter who I think now helps to manage the place... what a lovely character.

Should we return to Sicily (and I really hope we do) I will not stay anywhere but here. Magic!

Delicious and stunning panoramic views. I recommend the calamari as it was some of the best I've had in Italy.

Great restaurant

Our stay in Taormina was even better because of staying at villa Carlota. We were always greeted with warm welcome and smiles even though wearing masks you could feel the dedication and time and attention was put into great customer service. The beds are very comfortable and love waking up to the incredible view of the sea every morning. Another fun detail was the multiple shower options; waterfall, Rain shower or hand held. Upon checkout, the owner Andrea Quartucci even went out of his way to make us reservations for dinner for the next two nights in Noto and gave us other things to do and see on our adventure onwards. A stay sealed with a kiss. We highly recommend staying at villa Carlotta and will definitely be back.
