The hotel itself was clean, only our apartment stunk strongly of mould, it seemed it has not been used in a while. The playground equipment was mainly broken. The pool was really nice and the hotel itself looked nice. We’ve seen other apartment and it was ok. The beach is further away and not that nice, better go somewhere else by car. Four stars for service, as the lady had to wait for our arrival until midnight, as we were delayed on the road. This review is about an experience of 2 years back.

A charming and well-kept apartment complex with a swimming pool and set in a beautiful garden. Just off the main road and next to a restaurant for those who want to sample traditional cuisine. The beach is very large, with both public and private facilities, and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

Ideal for families with pets. The house has a beautiful garden, and you'll find all the essentials for cooking. Linens are NOT changed during your stay.
The proximity to the dog beach is excellent, where you can safely swim with your pets at any time. It's a shame you have to cross the Aurelia road.
The town of Follonica, about 4 km away, is also beautiful. It's full of little restaurants and has both free and paid beaches.
A truly wonderful discovery that finally allows you to travel with your furry friends without any worries. Learn from me, Ligurian and Emilian friends...!

The property really has potential; a few more improvements would be perfect. The rooms smell of gas when other apartments use the boiler, for example. The mosquito nets are often broken, and the closets have a very strong, musty smell (you can't open the bedside table drawers because of the smell). Be careful with the irrigation system, as you might find the drying rack soaked the next morning.
We rented bikes on site. Crossing the Aurelia is a bit dangerous, but otherwise doable for the beach. The pool is very nice and comfortable. The two guys (Daniel and another guy) at reception are very kind and helpful, and attentive to guests' needs. The restaurant is delicious, and the guys who run it are very nice.
