Definitely not recommended. We arrived in the evening with my husband and our small child (who sleeps with us in bed), and unlike any other hotel we have stayed at, we were refused check-in because “three people in a double room.” Even when we offered to pay extra, the answer was a strict NO. The reception staff and the manager were rude and unfriendly. In the end, they only allowed us to stay one night in a triple room. The pool water was cold even though advertised as heated, and breakfast was very poor – the “juice” was just water with syrup and the choice was minimal. Very disappointing and absolutely not family-friendly.

Great for families. Ok breakfast. Bungallow far better than standard rooms. Main benefit kids club and easy of access of private beach.

Great resort, the rooms were perfect. The atmosphere is amazing and everything is close by, I would definitely recommend this and will book in advance for my next visit there.
There is a supermarket inside the village and two restaurants the trattoria workers were much more friendly than the ones on the beach.
Overall really enjoyed it.

Great place for family holidays. Possibility to go on different road bike/ MTB tours.
Great breakfast buffet and very nice rooms/apartments. Many options for also staying at the hotel, going to the pool, going to the sea.
Perfect for families with kids in young/younger age!
Hotel is located directly at the beach - so direct beach access.
Hotel has different restaurants and an own supermarket to do the grocery for day trips to surrounding cities/locations

It is a lovely, childfriendly resort with a beautiful beach and an awesome atmosphere. There is a beachbar, a restaurant, and a mini supermarket in the resort as well as many activities, such as minigolf, table tennis, stand-up paddling, kitesurfing, a small gym and a pool. There is child and adult entertainment offered as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance of the town of follonica, and the road through the resort is traffic free except for some municipal and resort cars.

The beach is fantastic! Clean, calm sea, pre-reserved loungers for every unit, water sports…couldn’t fault it as a family-friendly beach.
Pool was also great, kids spent hours on the slide.
Apartments were clean, spacious and reasonably equipped.
Facilities on site were great, couldn’t fault them, and no stupid rules like you get on other similar resorts.
Finally, the 2 on-site restaurants were fabulous, particularly beachfront La Duna.
Close enough to Follonica to cycle. Also an hourly tourist train from the middle of the resort to town was great to avoid using the car.
Surrounding countryside was great for mountain biking and road biking.
Pool was also great, kids spent hours on the slide.

Last time I was here it was more than 20 years ago and it seems it still appeals to mostly German and Swiss speaking people which for me was excellent as my Italian is very rusty. The houses are clean everything works well and the beach is really really nice, only a few metres away from the houses. The pool area is great for kids of all ages. We didn’t really make any bad experiences so I can happily write the place with the five stars and maybe the next visit won’t be 20 years down the road either

Good good, nice people. Very good animation with free child care, they do a lot of activities. Free own beach spot. Not all apartments are renewed, the old ones are not so nice but in the end is a value for money option for holiday in Follonica
