Hotel Miramare in Follonica

We stayed a week in early August. 70s-80s retro style hotel. Atmosphere and kindness of other times. Spotless rooms. Hotel 2 steps from the beach. Supplied with 2 director's chairs and umbrella for the very comfortable free beach. Large spaces for breakfast and a terrace for packed lunches. Owners always available and polite.
There is no fridge in the room, the only flaw that I recommend to integrate. Air conditioning and TV available and wifi in the lobby.

It is a small 2 star hotel even if I would have given 3 ... Why

The only thing that disappointed me a bit is the breakfast, there is neither salty nor fruit ... Recommended !!! 👍

Although a little dated, we were fine, services only buffet breakfast with bag of fresh fruit to take away. Very clean and helpful and nice staff, recommended for those who have no pretensions!

We stayed these days at the Miramare hotel, located a stone's throw from the beach and in the center of follonica.The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean and the hotel has three terraces outside, where you can have an excellent breakfast. have dinner and lunch at the "sack" and a terrace where you can wash and hang out the laundry. The price is great !! The owners are very kind and so are the staff, very kind and helpful !!! We had a really good time and we recommend it !!!!

Optimal hotel for us !!! Do not expect stylish furnishings, they are basic ... but who cares! Facing the sea, as soon as you wake up you see a spectacular view, good breakfast outdoors, terrace for hanging out, daily towel change, clean and friendly staff .. what else? 5 minutes from the center ... directly on the seafront promenade! We have been coming for years ... recommended.
