The view from the spacious balcony is unmatched. The sea, boats, fishermen, sunsets, wind, islands, and water. Beautiful.

We stayed at this resort for two nights in early September. It was a very special place and location facing the Isle of Elba, which could be seen from our patio terrace. The panoramic Mediterranian ocean view was breathtaking. The intimate private beach located a short distance from our room was worth the stay alone. However, this (second) review is specifically to express our gratitude for the exceptional service and care provided by Antonio, the hotel manager (owner). We had left our ( spare) car keys along with other keys in the room upon our checking out. It wasn't until we returned home in Canada thet we learned of our loss. Antonio contacted us shortly after to confirm he found our keys. We were intending to retrieve them on subsequent visits but never made it there for one reason or another. The costs and complications to have these keys sent to us by mail or courier made it impractical. Our daughtrer and husband was just recently on vacation and passing through Piombino . She was able to retrieve the keys for us from Antonio yesterday. It was a long shot that these keys would still be available given the many months on hold, (20 months). Excellent facility with 25m pool, gym, and access to the sea. Breakfasts at their beautiful terrace overlooking the bay. I got gluten free bread every morning as well. Even if I hadn’t pre-warned them about that. We used the gym and the pool every morning before breakfast and daily tourist activities
