Albergo Roma in Casciana Terme

Giovanna, her husband and Nazareno were absolutely fantastic hosts. We were welcomed like family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was delicious and Giovanna was available whenever we needed. We will return for sure and would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We loved it!

We had an absolutely wonderful 4 night stay at Albergo Roma. A very charming, authentic Italian residence with a beautiful large pool, plenty of sunbeds and a small bar where you can purchase drinks. Giovanna is just amazing, so kind, thoughtful and very helpful. She organised taxis and transfers to the Bocelli concert and a picnic for us! We had a great stay in Casciana Terme! The hotel is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. The staff could not be more helpful, and the morning espressos absolute perfection.

The hotel is right by the town square, where there are bars and cafes. The thermal spa is very enjoyable, all in all a quiet and delightful weekend away.

A very warm welcome by the reception in this typical Hugh traditional Italian town house. Nice rooms with mediateranean style window blinds. Very nice! I got top recommendations for my day tours and insidertips that only someone from the region knows. I believe it’s a family owned hotel and thanks to the love that they put into it, I had a really good stay! I’d come again!

Another visit to my favorite hotel in Casciana Terme. I have been coming here since 2014. Giovanna runs an excellent hotel with large, comfortable rooms, good Wifi, and delicious breakfast. There is secure parking (for both autos and motorcycles.) The pool was open and great to either relax by or for a cool swim. There is a large outdoor patio to relax on or a bar inside for coffee and/or drinks. This is family friendly hotel.

We stayed here as part of a Tuscan self guided cycle tour where the accommodation was booked for us. We started and finished our tour of the region here and so stayed two nights. It was without doubt the best place we stayed in Tuscany and the best place we have stayed in Worldwide travel for a long time. The hotel is owned by a lovely couple who have had the hotel in their family for generations. They dearly love and care for the hotel and it’s business and it shows. They went out of their way to help and advise us with anything we needed and found a place to keep our bike boxes while we were here n our tour. It is a beautiful hotel with so much history and is a brilliant place to relax by the pool or in the beautiful gardens or in the communal spaces inside as well as use as a base for seeing the local villages, towns and surrounding region. The breakfast was lovely with fresh made bread and other produce. We were so pleased that we found this place. It is special, as are the family that run it. We will most certainly be back. We highly recommend this for a relaxing place to stay and a great place from which to explore beautiful Tuscany.

Lovely hotel, family run. A very warm welcome awaited us at this charming hotel in the little town of Casciana Terme about 20 mins drive from Lajatico Tuscany. Great location for 40 min drive to Sienna, hour to Florence. We were here for the Bocelli concert July 2023 as were numerous other visitors to the hotel. Nice clean pool with plenty of Loungers. Good breakfast and a special mention to the jolly breakfast waiter. Giovanna is a wonderful hotel manager and nothing was too much trouble. She creates a very friendly atmosphere and is genuinely interested in where we had visited and where we intend to visit, giving helpful advice and suggestions. This hotel is a gem in the middle of Tuscany and ideal for both families, couples and solo travellers. The town itself albeit small, has some good restaurants, thermal springs opposite the hotel and a small Carrefour, tabac and pharmacy.

We stayed here to attend the Andrea Bocelli concert . The hotel is wonderful full of Italian charm . Clean and quiet and so Italian . Giovanna and her husband are so helpful and charming Giovanna made all the transport arrangements for ourselves and other guests to attend the concert . The room was very spacious with good air conditioning The pool area is very nice . We can’t wait to return again . Thank you Giovanna for looking after us ,you are very kind x

One of the nice town in Tuscany. The location of the hotel is the best as it can be. In small scale the middle of great town and on the large scale the best location in Tuscany to visit all the best places (like Lucca, Pisa, Volterra and San G.)
