La Melosa Resort & Spa - Adults Only in Roccastrada

We spent 12 days in start september, and can highly recommend the place.

The atmosphere is quiet, calm and relaxing. With only 12 rooms, focused on adult guests, the experience is completely different from the large family-oriented alternatives. The furniture and decor is well maintained and not dated, while still staying true to the Tuscan style (as we see it at least).

The rooms are spacious and cutely decorated, with all the amenities you expect from a nice hotel.

Breakfast is simple but good, and the restaurant provides a new menu each night, and has really good local wines.

The staff is really friendly and fully available long into the evening.

We booked the spa and two massages on a rainy day, which we will recommend as well. There are steam bath, sauna, bubble bath, Turkish bath and tea and snacks, so more than 1 hour is easily spent there.

Half of the days we spend going on excursions, and the location worked really well for us. The distance to Florence is a bit of a drive (2 hours), but on the other hand it was relatively close to both Montepulciano, and Montalcino.

If we decide to go back to Tuscany, we'll definitely stay here again.

Suggestion: We never found any "Do not disturb" signs, but also didn't necessarily need cleaning and fresh sheets every day, so this could be added

Air conditioning barely working and lot of mosquitos when the window is open (no window shield).

Nice pool

We spent two wonderful weeks at La Melosa Resort and SPA. Our room with a private garden was lovely, and we truly enjoyed the lush greenery and beautifully maintained outdoor areas. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the beauty of Tuscany.

This place is amazing. Staff are pleasant, property and rooms are beautiful and clean. Our only issue is with the restaurant on the property. Not sure if it’s independently run, but the food was not good. Gnocchi had to be sent back because it was truly terrible, falling apart and tasted like raw flour. We changed it for what sounded like an eggplant parmesean or something similar from the “main course” section of the menu only for it to come as a cold plate of raw ingredients, essentially a salad. The other plates were just ok. The server was nice, so we didn’t want to send that back as well but overall it was horrible in every way. Too bad because it didn’t match the accommodations at all. would definitely stay here again because outside of the restaurant experience it was 10/10. The spa was truly incredible. As someone that uses spas anywhere and everywhere I go, it was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Truly remarkable.

Very nice agroturismo! Pool area is well kept and clean and the included morning buffet offers a variety of high quality local ingredients. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms have a nice cool temperature without AC even in the very hot summer months since they use an alternative cooling system through the floor.

Super! Everything was amazing! The room, the spa, the dinner, the swimming-pool, the breakfast, every small details. Excellent service... and everything is nice and clean.

Very beautiful villa in tuscany

Comfi beds, nice breakfast. Pool ice cold (can be a good to have on a hot day!).
Restaurant service was warm and professional, we would recommend when in the area. I think the price for the room was a bit too high for what it actually was.
