I stayed one night with my family on our recent trip to Italy. We took a short road trip and ended at La Gabelletta for one night. And it was one night to remember... The staff were so friendly and we basically had the whole small hotel to ourselves from the start to the end. Dinner was fantastic. Simple and still very good food. Service was exceptional. My kids loved the waiter who made them feel so relaxed. Pool was nice, breakfast enjoyable, and the room was something from an old movie. All in all, the experience was something we have not had before. I would love to come back another time. Thanks to all for a memorable stay. BR Thomas

I have been to La Gabelletta four times for dinner and have yet to be anything other than thrilled with the delicious food. Gorgeous surroundings, professional staff, a great wine list make this establishment an important one. Thank you.

I can honestly say this was one of the worst meals I have had in Italy. The food was almost inedible and the service terrible. We had a pasta dish with burrata and anchovies. There was no seasoning and it literally looked like it was just thrown together on a plate. A tiny amount of burrata and three anchovies. The starter of aubergine millefeuille was layered with soggy pastry and had no flavour at all. Bad value, inedible food and overall very disappointing. The whole place felt neglected and run down.

Pleasant place in the middle of the countryside with lots of options for walking, running and biking. There are terraces with great view and the restaurant is excellent. Rooms could be improved, especially the bedding

The pasta vongole was way to spicy and did not taste good at all. We also ordered 2 dishes and got 2 different ones served. They both did not taste well and were 12 euros more expensive in total. There were cats running around in the restaurant. However when we discussed about this with the owner, she was very friendly and proposed us to correctly pay what we ordered and even offered us something on the house.
