Maison Pozzo Guesthouse in Venice

Place is easy to find, at the end of the alley, on the right. Clean beds, air conditioning, bathroom and closet. No one came into our room for our entire stay there, complete privacy. However, the walls are thin, you can hear the people walking around and doing their things, and the bathroom ceiling had weird spots on it. No shampoo or conditioner, only body wash (not that it was a problem). You pay your fee of visiting Venice right as you check in, and ask to see your receipt, so your not ripped off. The place was great over all, but it had a few small downsides that I mentioned above. 😘

Location is good. Clean, they are helpful, especially Gomez. The guesthouse is divided into two buildings, the bed was xomfortable, if you choose economical room please be aware that the bathroom is shared.

We had a lovely 3 nights stay at this hotel. It was very clean and quite. The room has air conditionning and TV with Youtube and Netflix. The bathroom is shared with another room which is ok. Location is conveniant, 5min walk to vaporetto going to Murano/Burano, 20min walk to St Marco, close to bars and restaurant but in a quite street. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can leave your luggage after check out.

We (a couple) bought a stay for 3 nights.

The location is excelent, it is at 10-15 minutes of walking distance to several attractions and at 5-8 minutes to the waterbus stations. It is very close to the main street wgich is filled with shops, bars, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets etc.

The room was neat, it had a kingsize bed, a small table, a chair, wardrobe.
We had a window to one of the side canals, that at the time was not accesible with boats, so it was very quiet. We slept like babies!

There is an air conditioning unit available and also a radiator which was on at the time.
Good wifi, connection.

There is no kitchen, nor any fridge, kettle or other food related appliance available.

There is a shared bathroom for every two rooms.

The only minus is that when we arrived there was no toilet paper available.

This was such a great experience! Nice room, clean, nice manager and we were allowed to keep the luggage at a Secure place even after our stay. Great!

If you're really tall you might have trouble with the ground floor/entrance.

I didn't like (and I suspect many won't) the fact that there was two soft mattresses, one on top of the other, atop a bed frame for sleeping in our room. I despise soft mattresses, let alone two.

Despite this I award 4stars. The location is really nice. A 1-2 minute walk from the main thoroughfare, Strada Nuova, and a further few minutes only to the Rialto bridge.
