Al Canal Regio - Guest House in Venice

Air conditioning not working and it was hot July weather.

In the house there was no electricity all night and no electrician came until the next day 8:30 a.m. electricity came no good Internet no good 
Refrigerator too much lerm bathroom all dirty and broken just no good room kitchen is catastrophic food was not sure if the date expired or are good breakfast was not only milk and orange juice had and coffee nothing more

I wouldn’t recommend. I was in a dark room, no windows. Room was extremely dated and looked worse in person. I did not sleep under the covers. I slept on towels because that felt cleaner. Maybe the other rooms are nicer, #7 was not.

Don’t waste your time
Tiny room. A/C did not work. We slept with the windows open which let mosquitoes in.
I don’t know what pictures they used on the internet because it was nothing like the photos whatsoever. There were stairs to the bathroom so getting up in the middle of the night was extremely dangerous. Thank goodness we checked in at 5pm and left at 7am the next morning so we weren’t even there 24 hours.

Worst hotel experience of my life!
Don’t get tricked by the pics on google provided by the hotel. TOTALLY RUBBISH.

You will need to take your luggage and cross big bridges to reach here. Got tricked by my agent cos we thought it’s on the canal, so should have been good. But it’s inside some small lane and it’s not even a hotel as per the “reception guys”. It’s a guest house.

- The rooms are horrible. Not maintained a bit. Things look broken.
- No double bed, 2 single bed clubbed to one.
- Nobody at the reception after 3 pm, so you get no help in case of emergency.
- The washroom is even horrendous. Water is coming out of everywhere. And even inside the room.
- No proper cleaning in our room on the 2nd day of our stay. Bathroom towels were not changed and kept in the same place as it was left.
- No refilling of basic stuffs in the washroom
- No kettle present in the room which is basic
- Room was getting heated during the day so we asked for ac, hotel guy said that it’s centralised heater so can’t do anything. He said people why do you even need it?!
Couldn’t even control the temperature
- NO FAN EVEN
- No hot water in the washroom that was required during morning. When we asked for help, no one bothered to check.

IN ADDITION TO THE REPLY GIVEN BY THE GUESTHOUSE- ( since I cannot add a separate review or reply)
- We had duly contacted the only guy present in the “guest house” for the all issues stated above. He just didn’t do anything about it.
SO GUYS PLS DONT BELIEVE ON THE RESPONSE SHARED BY THE GUESTHOUSE.

THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ARE VERY SELF EXPLANATORY.

Also they have changed their name to “guesthouse” only recently on Google. After so much back lash.

Coming to the DND hung, it was nothing sort of. And what’s the use of it when there’s no one attending us 24*7 or when we come back to the room after the whole day. So the point is null and void.

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. OR ELSE CHOOSE TO LIVE IN A ROOM FILLED WITH WATER.
Claps for the guesthouse to reply after 6 months with such incorrect clarifications.
