Locanda Sant'Anna in Venice

Really nice people taking care of the place, the patio is charming and the rooms are clean. Could use a bit of uplift on the rooms decoration but all in all was lovely to stay there.
And the best of all, was the gentleman at reception in the night shift that helped us so much and patiently waited for us.

The rooms are well kept and clean, of course it's not "flashy" for this price but it's a friendly welcome and clean towels. The location is excellent, around 10 minutes walk from Arsenal stop, the area around this hotel is beautiful with cobbled streets, very few tourists and very nice restaurants. Thank you to the hotel team for our short stay with you in July 2024.

It is how your grandmother travelled, with shared bathroom and ancient furniture. But both the location and the staff are truly amazing. Nice quiet place and garden in the hot spot of Venice.

Went this week, was only €30/night (€35/night if you only book one night though), maybe because it's winter and it's the off-season for Venice tourism.

Had a single room with a sink and bed and small cabinet and small table and chair. No private bathroom/shower but that's fine!! The bathroom and shower on the floor were very clean.

The lounge is nice too!! Has a balcony with a canal view.

Great value. We got a beautiful room right on the canal. The online booking showed the hotel as completely booked, but we came to the front desk and found the room was available. The hotel is a little tricky to find and the front desk is only open until 8PM, so be sure to allow some time to find the place.

A tourist information booked this for us, and we were absolutely not disappointed. It was a fabulous find and we were so very pleasantly surprised at how nice our stay was.

The hotel is right in a quaint neighborhood that seemed to be mostly locals. It was nice to get away from large groups of tourists and all of the salesmen on the main streets. Even though it was a longer walk, it was so pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed it every night.

The man at the front desk was sooooooo helpful! He recommended numerous authentic Italian restaurants for us in the neighborhood that were superb! He also helped us to get directions to places, too.

The room was large and everything was really clean. We had four people in one room, with two queen beds, and we had no space problems. It was quite roomy. Also, the bathroom was very clean. The bathtub was large, but a little tricky to use.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel! It's a great deal for your money and it's so close to the rest of Venice! It's a great location, and feels super safe.
