Clean room but very, very small. No closet space. Room was hot even with AC on. Bathroom was acceptable. No elevator. Had to climb stairs with luggage. Close to everything.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rio Hotel! The location is ideal for getting around central Venice, just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square, and there are a lot of dining and shopping options right outside the hotel. The room was small but more than enough for my needs, and it was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others!

Hotel Rio is located in a small square with many dining options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We only paid for the English Breakfast one day but it had great options of bacon rashers, sausages, hash brown patties and scrambled eggs. The location is extremely convenient as it is only a two minute walk from the Vaporetto station. This gave us convenient access to the Train Station, other parts of Venice, and the islands of Burano and Murano. The square outside the hotel is quite lively but everything closes down precisely at midnight and it was quiet until 8:00 AM. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved exploring the streets of Venice. We would definitely recommend Hotel Rio to anyone visiting Venice. Grazie Mille!

There was no elevator; there was no 24/7 receptionist; no one cared to help with the luggages since there was no elevator during check out; the front door are always left open at night due to guests arriving late, and made me feel unsafe: things i liked: the room and the hotel was clean and near the vaporetto.

Rio Hotel is really nice, the room is clean and tidy, the boss can speak a few words of Chinese and is quite funny, the breakfast is OK, there is free baggage storage, the location is not far from the square, it is the most cost-effective hotel

We were impressed by how modern the design is compared to our previous stays at other Venice hotels. The location is perfect and close to the San Marco square.
