Hotel At Leonard in Venice

Hotel was great. Nice and roomy, with a good location and fantastic customer service from the lady at the reception, Santina. She was very kind. Room also had pretty good AC (I'll take some AC over none at all). Room also had a nice mini fridge and nice restaurants/supermarkets around the area.

Great old style clean hotel rooms with all the basics.
Check in is thru Hotel Bernardi which was very confusing as staff did not explain. But very helpful once we got there. Breakfast very basic.

Very good position and clean rooms. Also the lady who helped us was very nice and gave us a lot of information about the attractions as we were the first time in Venice

Stayed 3 nights at Hotel at Leonard and we enjoyed it. Rooms are very clean, serviced daily and the room itself while not the biggest (we had a standard double) was sufficient for 2. Check-in is done at their sister hotel, The Hotel Bernardi which is a short distance from Leonard. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until nearly 1am, thank you Asif for waiting for us and taking us to our room in the dark of night. We didn't have breakfast included and tbh, going back to the Bernardi to get a basic continental breakfast would not have been worth it given the many great eateries nearby. The location is convenient, near Fondamenta Nove ferry terminals which give easy access to the airport and islands. It's a short 10min walk to Rialto Bridge from the hotel (be sure to try the gelato at SUSO along the way - amazing) and is far enough away to be out of the tourist hustle & bustle. My only criticism is the pushy cleaning service. After that first late night, we were woken up at 10am to a cleaner walking into our room without knocking! The following day, a similar incident but they knocked first at least. On our check-out day, we started getting harassed at 9am, again at 9.45am (check out is 10.30am) and a final one just entered at 10am without knocking who I immediately told to leave (I was in the midst of dressing my disabled child who was distressed from the constant invasion). The staff the hotel Bernardi were all very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage in their breakfast room while we enjoyed our final day. Overall it was a nice stay, I'd return again but would hope the cleaners would be less intrusive.

A small, quiet hotel, that will situate on the islands of Venice, without taking over your bank account. Only about 10-12 minutes walk from St. Mark's, it far enough away to not constantly be bombarded by tourists, but close enough that it isn't inconvenient.

The place is not too far to the Rialto Bridge. It is placed in a secondary road so it is very quiet at night. The room are new and elegant, very well furnished with reinassance style. The only negative aspect is that the rooms do not have mini fridges.

The room was very clean, and more spacious than I had expected. The location was really good, within walking distance off the rialto bridge and San Marcos. One complain I have is the noise. The first morning we were there, they had some sort of maintenance done right outside our room at around 8am. Hopefully this is only a one off thing. Check in was pretty easy at their main hotel, the lady immediately pulled out a map and circled places of interest for us hefore we even asked. She also helped us with our luggage.
