Miru Niseko in Niseko

I had a wonderful stay here.

The rooms are spacious and very modern; my room was filled with all the ammenities which I needed. The way the hotel is structured is very intriguing too; I won't say more - take it as an incentive to book yourself a room here!

The staff are very friendly and helpful - it was great that they were willing to offer advice on activities I could participate in within a 'close' proximity to the hotel.

The choice of dishes available during breakfast is quite limited, but it wasn't really a big bother - should you be really peckish, there is a 7/11 nearby. On the other hand, the dinner was superb! I was blown away at how delicious the local pork was.

Overall, I wish that I could've stayed a few more nights at this hotel.

I’m not sure who gives out the stars, but Miru Niseko needs at least one, if not two more.

LOCATION is awesome. Feels secluded but so close to everything. 10 minute drive to Annupuri and 5 minutes to Hirafu. The shuttle made it extremely convenient and we’re also not the type to like being in the middle of bars and such, but close enough that we can dabble for a night.

STAFF were fantastic. Is there a word for better than fantastic? If so, staff were that. From the front desk folks, the Black Wood Grill staff, drivers, literally anyone we encountered went above and beyond for us.

ROOM was the perfect size with a big window and wonderful view. Quiet, serene, modern, extremely clean.

ONSEN is not coed, but you can talk to each other through the wall if there’s nobody else out there. Ha. Indoor and outdoor baths. Tattoo friendly also!! There’s an alcohol vending machine right outside the spa entrance as well.

AMENITIES are fantastic. Everything you could need is provided and of high quality as well. Washer/dryer on site was extremely convenient. Plenty of US outlets in the room. Built in bidet and super high quality TP. It’s the little things. As per usual in Japanese accommodations, robes, slippers, and sandals are a one size fits all situation. If you plan to use the onsen and you have larger feet, recommend bringing sandals along with you.

Smart TV has Netflix, Prime Video, etc. I couldn’t figure out how to screen mirror but was able to login to YouTube and change the language using the camera feature on the google translate app. We didn’t use it much but was nice to have at the end of a long day of riding.

WIFI is consistently good.

Black Wood Grill breakfast and dinner were superb. They made sure we didn’t have any allergies and they surprised us with a new meal every morning. We had both traditional Japanese breakfast and Western style breakfasts. Both were prepared with so much care. Dinner was amazing. Creamy tomato soup, pesto and smoked salmon salad, grilled/roasted veggies, and three large cuts of meat (we chose waygu beef, Hokkaido deer, and pork). This was more than enough for the two of us who eat a lot! The care put into this meal was noticeable as well. The homemade umeshu (plum wine) was unreal! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend eating here despite the higher price tag. You will get your money’s worth and then some in the quality, portion, and service.

Do yourself a favor and just book with Miru Niseko. And no, they did not pay me to say this. It really was THAT amazing of a stay.

Our family had a great stay. Very clean, modern and cozy rooms with friendly staff. We also loved the location, it's just a 5 minute drive to grand hirafu ski lifts and restaurants but feels so much more secluded with amazing views of the the mountain. Love to stay again.

Great accommodations, lovely onsen, helpful staff, beautiful views, a free shuttle service... What more can you want? The place is like a dream! I highly recommend checking in!
