It was my first time staying here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was all-inclusive, so I was always full, and table tennis and karaoke were free. The bath had a great view, so I used it three times! I would definitely like to stay here again.

The complimentary alcohol, coffee, soft drinks, and ice cream were excellent. The dinner and breakfast buffets had a wide variety of options, so it was hard to decide what to order, but everything was delicious. I wish we had had a little more time for breakfast. I wanted to eat at a leisurely pace. The curry udon I ate in front of the fireplace for dinner was a real relief. The room was comfortable, and I was able to relax.

I went for a massage at the hotel. It was the worst massage. She didn't intend to massage, just rubbed and rubbed very lightly. The massage therapist seemed Chinese. She couldn't speak Japanese very well. She could only speak a little, which was hard to understand. And it wasn't a massage. She didn't seem to know how to massage. The massage room was unclean. The pillow that was used to put my face into the hole had a very bad smell of saliva. The massage therapists in a 4-star hotel should be more selective. This is the only criticism. The rest of the hotel was very bad. The service of the hotel staff was excellent. The hotel is beautiful. The view from the outdoor onsen is very beautiful. The food was luxurious and delicious. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style. There was a wide variety of menu items and everything was delicious. The room was clean. There was a shuttle service from the train station.

There was a decent selection of food, but the quality of each item was not as good as I expected.
The location was a little far from the city center, so it felt inconvenient. I was satisfied with the size and facilities of the room.
The bath was on the top floor, so the view was amazing.

This hotel is not worth the price in terms of hardware or software. The hotel is old in terms of hardware. You have to get your own toiletries and clothes. There is no internal line in the room to the front desk. You have to use your own mobile phone to call the front desk. The indoor and outdoor pools are not very big. There is no service staff at the hotel entrance to welcome and carry luggage. It feels like a business hotel. The child is 7 years old and they said that they would charge an additional fee. It cost more than 60,000 yen for two nights, but they didn’t give me an extra bed. Not to mention that they didn’t even have a pillow at the beginning. Seeing that I was about to get angry, they reluctantly gave me a pillow. Breakfast and dinner are buffets. There are many varieties and the taste is not bad, but the ingredients should be more advanced at this price. Checked in on the 31st and checked out on January 2nd. It happened to be the New Year in Japan these days, but the hotel didn’t have the New Year atmosphere at all. Whether it was the front desk or the restaurant staff, even the guests staying in the hotel, they seemed very depressed. The only cute smile I saw was a grandmother who was cleaning the bathhouse, who greeted me very warmly. We didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel and booked Kinugawa Mikazuki on the day we checked out. The service and food were much better at the same price. The guests staying there were also smiling, which made us feel much better. We will not stay at TAOYA again.

I like this hot spring hotel very much. It is great value for money. The hotel is in a good environment on the mountain, the air is very fresh, the buffet is rich, and it is a great experience to soak in the hot springs and enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

Since we arrived at 9pm, it was past dinner time. However, after contacting Trip.com, the hotel arranged for dinner to be delivered to our room. The service was very attentive.

There are shuttle buses from Tobu Nikko Station and Jr Nikko Station every hour. It feels quite convenient. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the station to the hotel.
The hotel is in the mountains, the environment and air are very good.
Staying for 1 night and 2 nights, we took the shuttle bus at 4 o'clock and arrived at the hotel at around 5 o'clock. It was the second batch's turn for dinner at around 7 o'clock. We couldn't change the time, so we waited until we were hungry. Dinner is still very rich, with a variety of good dishes, and the steak is recommended. There are also a variety of alcoholic beverages. Breakfast was also good.
The hot spring is on the top floor, the water is very good, and there is an outdoor hot spring. You can soak in the hot spring and enjoy the night, moonlight or starry sky.
The hotel room is also large and overall very good.
Disadvantages: The pillows are not very comfortable and a bit hard. In addition, the sink and table are relatively low in design, making them not very convenient to use.
