I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I will stay here again if I visit Nikko

Location is abit off the main road and you need a car if you want to go sightseeing around Nikko area. Hotel staff was polite and the service was immaculate. The rooms were clean and amenities was of high quality. Food was delicious and the public bath was clean and good. Highly recommended for couples or for people who want to chill and do nothing.

10/10 satisfaction, because my wife was very satisfied. The hotel isn't large, but the design is thoughtful and meticulous. I especially appreciated the private bath (¥2000/hour) and the inner garden view. The two meals included with the stay were excellent; the sashimi was served in an ice basin, a thoughtful touch.

Service is perfect and took care of everything well. Location wise not so convenient and better for self driving, otherwise cannot go anywhere nearby. One point should improve is the check out time is 10:30AM, which is way earlier than most hotel and may cause some inconvenience for some travelers.

I’m so happy to have stayed at Hotel Hana An Chuzen-ji Lake Nikko! The view from my room was absolutely stunning. I booked a room without meals but added dinner on my second day, and it was a great choice! The staff were all very kind and spoke English well, which made my stay even more comfortable. The inn is located right in front of Lake Chuzenji, and although it is compact, it was quiet and comfortable. The food was delicious, but I was also impressed by the colorful tableware that was used to serve it.

The hotel is quite old and difficult to get to. The only convenience is that there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel, Classic. The outdoor bathtub is quite well made. The room is spacious, but the bathroom has a strong smell. The room has a musty smell like dust. There is a restaurant next door that opens until late at night. There are not many convenience stores and restaurants in the area.

The staff provided excellent service. My only disappointment was not being aware beforehand that parking wasn't available until 3 PM. This made it challenging to meet up with my international guests. Had I known this in advance, we could have made much smoother arrangements, so I hope this information is clearly communicated for future guests.

It was a great experience staying in a traditional ryokan, visit an onsen (public bath) and use a yukata (Japanese robe). Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. A futon mattress would have made the experience even better, but the down duvet was wonderful.

Hotel opens at 3pm for check in. We got there a few minutes early and there were people just waiting outside to be let in. There are also no luggage storage but they provided a few paid lockers. The rooms are small but good for a short stay. The WiFi connection is not great, had it one night and the next night it was down until the next morning. This is a very nice place. Though the room is small but it fits the requirements of a traveller.It is more than sufficient for single occupancy and just ok for double occupancy. Yutorelo Nikko, nestled by Lake Chuzenji in Okunikko, is a lakeside inn with hot springs. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering excellent value for money.

The hotel's location is okay, but it lacks amenities. It's convenient for hiking, but not for visiting other attractions. After 6 PM, the entire street is deserted with no shops open. This was an interesting stay I was very obviously here in the absolute off season. The hotel is run in an interesting mix of can be cheap and can be high class. I didn't book with dinner included which is a mistake because during off season the surroundings were somewhat lacking no Konbini. The hotel is located in the mountains and is very quiet. Although the buildings and rooms are relatively old, the maintenance and cleanliness are up to standard. I was grateful for the accommodating hospitality despite my late arrival and late check-in time. The accommodations were spacious and clean, and the extended bathhouse hours were a nice touch.

The staff were very attentive, as always in Japan. The breakfast was extraordinary. The only slight drawback was that we stayed Sunday night. The hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. However, there are plenty of dining options within walking distance, so it wasn't a major issue. On the plus side, we had access to the baths all night.

The whole experience at this ryokan was magical. Our room with the private onsen was so comfortable and we were lucky enough to get snow on our final morning. Really great place. Even though we had to rent a car just to get to the Hotel, we thing it worth it for 1 night. The place is very charming, you can feel you are staying in a place with a lot of history. I used a flat type room. I relaxed with the feeling of being a completely private space. The room bath was nice, but the hot springs for rent were also the best. I didn't pass each other while I was moving to the annex, so I went in smoothly. The hotel locates nearby Nikko, the world herritage area, just 4 km. from the hotel. Our room is very big, clean, and good maintained.
