First Cabin Akasaka, Tokyo1 / 18

Tokyo, 3 Chome-13-7 Akasaka, Minato, 107-0052 Tokio, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
The bed is covered by a curtain, so it's not soundproof at night and can be a bit noisy. Earplugs are provided at the front desk. Overall, the cleanliness is good; there were no stains. The shower facilities are complete, and it's suitable for a night's stay.
So far, it is the best capsule for me
Overall it's good, but it's not very convenient to take the B1 elevator to take a bath, but it's also a good choice for traveling alone
A very novel capsule hotel. Compared with ordinary capsules, this type of small compartment is much better. However, there are many small compartments in a closed space. There are many people snoring and smelly feet at night. It is really unbearable. There are many weird people in Japan, especially men. It is very uncomfortable to see people's shoes being torn and tattered. There are no windows, just...
This was my first time staying at this capsule hotel, but it was more comfortable than any other I've stayed at. I can understand why the price range is a little higher. In addition to the amenities and cleanliness, it also has a bath, so I feel like I was able to relieve the fatigue of work. One thing is that the location in Akasaka is a little inconvenient, but other than that I have no complaints...
This is my second time to experience a capsule hotel in Japan. It is as clean and tidy as expected, and the shower room is also clean! I highly recommend it to those who travel alone. There are also many girls traveling alone. You need to swipe your card to enter the door when going up and down the stairs, which is very safe.

Wonderful experience at this oyado! The service and amenities were outstanding. Literally, nothing needs to bring! The artificial hot bath was amazing! People staying in Oyado were so respectful and quiet, keeping others privacy. I will comeback here and anywhere in Japan. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely amazing stay at this capsule hotel! Amenities were so good, very glad I didn't take any shampoo etc with me, saved a lot of space. The communal shower, onsen and sauna were such a treat after the long days walking around Tokyo. The late night snacks were so nice as well, very good place to relax after the city and for a great price too! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. On request...
I was supposed to stay 4 days but lost a friend in Canada and decided to extend my stay for a total of 11 days, to give me the time to grieve my loss and i’m glad it was at this hostel. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, i appreciated the Onsen (if you don’t like that, take note that there is only one private shower), the food & most importantly, i felt safe, my previous experiences were in Mixed dorms...
Easy, convenient, and safe. It was my first time staying at a women's only hotel. Keep in mind everyone is very comfortable with being naked, the showers are completely open in a large room. I was a little shy so I did use their private shower, they only have 1 so if it is occupied you will have to shower with everyone else. The room where you sleep can get very loud. The pods aren't soundproof. At...
My group of six only stayed one night before our flight home from Tokyo. The check in process was simple and we were given a brief of the facilities. Things that are important to note (as mentioned in other reviews): - the lockers, rooms, showers, and lounge are all on separate floors which can became inconvenient due to the single elevator - there is only ONE private shower but I did not have to...
The location is located very close walking distance to train subway station. The hotel is a great place to reset and clean up in a little jet bath house. I would stay again.

Have public bath, really clean and people at reception are very helpful. A very good spot for any traveler!
Nestled right opposite a shopping arcade and within minutes walk from the City Tram, this capsule hotel is clean and comfortable! You can rent a humidifier from the front reception, and there is also a hot bath where you can relax after a days walk! Right behind the hotel is Chinatown, and there is a 7-11 too! Will stay here again when I come back to Nagasaki. Highly recommended as it's value for money
The hotel is located in the same building as the underground station as well as Donki. Worth it for a short stay for a solo trip.
Situated in a lively area, there are plenty of places to eat nearby. There's also a shopping centre nearby with a wide variety of stores. Public transport is also easy, with bus and tram stops nearby. The staff is friendly and speaks excellent English, and we had no problems checking in. Thank you, First Cabin! ❤️
It was great that it was in the perfect location.
Located close to Kankodori Station, it's the perfect place to stay and have a drink. There's also a bath so you can relax after a day of sightseeing.

I travel Osaka alone. The hotel provides Onsen facilities. Which is good for after a long walk. Capable of solo travel
I traveled alone this time and chose this hotel. The location is excellent; from Namba Exit 13, you take the elevator directly to the third floor where the front desk is. There are two self-check-in machines, and you can select Chinese for a smooth check-in process. You can check in after 5 PM, but you can store your luggage and they'll give you a numbered tag. Both the third and fourth floors are...
Hotel is situated around dubious establishments - slot machines and there was some girls in skimpy clothes squatting around the back alley. But it is very conveniently located near shopping areas.
As someone who has stayed in many capsule hotels, this one stands out as the best for size, value, and amenities. • Location: Perfect. Right next to Exit 13 of Namba Station. It's an easy 5-minute walk to the main station and Takashimaya. • The Room: Surprisingly spacious. Unlike other capsules, there is plenty of room here to actually secure your luggage comfortably. • Amenities: The facilities are...
Very close to Nankai Electric Railway, and it's also convenient for shopping in Shinsaibashi. The front desk offers luggage storage. Although it's a capsule hotel and you can inevitably hear other guests, most people are very considerate, and the private lockers add a good sense of privacy.
Great experience! Much cleaner, safer, and with a hot spring bath than I expected. Definitely worth it. I thought it would be small, but it turned out to be quite spacious. I'd choose this place again if I come back next time.

Good location, around 10 mins walk from Shimbashi station. Walking distance to Lawson and Family Mart. Recommend for solo travellers.
It was clean, had plenty of amenities, and even provided a hair dryer, hair iron, and curling iron, so I was able to stay empty-handed, which was very appreciated. Best of all, there was a large public bath, which was great for soothing away my fatigue. ☺️ This time, I had a meal plan, and while meal vouchers were supposed to be given at check-in, they weren't, so I was confused when I went to get...
First time for me in a capsule hotel, much cozier than I expected. The staff was very friendly. For someone like me who likes a proper meal before starting the day, the breakfast was a bit meager (a cup of miso soup and a rice ball). But that's really a matter of personal preference...
There's a 7-Eleven nearby, the environment is peaceful, and the overall experience was fantastic.
This is the first one-night accommodation I booked for my first trip to Japan. It is a tier 1 capsule hotel. The lobby and men's public bath are on the 6th floor. I stayed on the 4th floor. The facilities were clean and the service was very friendly. The bed was also very clean. Above all, I don't know if it is soundproof, but I slept so quietly at night that I woke up feeling like I was sleeping at...
This is the capsule hotel with the best sanitary environment and service facilities so far. The capsule room is very spacious, high enough for people to stand, and the soundproofing is also very good. There is a large bath. The public lounge is also quiet and comfortable.

So good all complicated, just suggestions i ithink if they provide hot water it will be perfect
It was great if you’re only planning to sleep there and don’t care about other people
Great location, good price, clean, but too many pods in one space felt cramped. Generally I would stay again based on location.
This is a hostel for mostly local Salary men that got too drunk in Shibuya and missed the last train, there’s 2 showers for an entire floor of beds and 2 toilets with a couple of pissours, however you get one use razors, towels and even Q-tips, you can even do your Laundry for 200yen(dryer run is 100yen per). If you need to stay in shibuya for a night it’s alright but I wouldn’t stay there for more...
you guys should stay here, location at the heart of shibuya and very clean and quite
The only option under a thousand yen near Shibuya. It has toiletries, a shower, and luggage lockers, it's clean and good for an overnight stay. You have to walk up a hill from the station to get there.

I had pleasant stay in here! the location is near to the Tottori station (by walk will take about 5-7 minutes). There is also convenience store around the hotel, and there is ATM (JP post bank) if you walk from the hotel to the station. The facilities inside also really good. It has very clean public spaces (locker room, shower, WC) and also a quiet spacious capsule! a very recommended stay if you...
Very clean. Many shower stalls per dorm. And importantly the bathroom is very clean as well. Basic amenities provided.
If you are a single traveler, I will definitely suggest to stay here. It was really good and clean. you have to share shower, bathroom. Staff were so friendly and professional. Even comic books , massage chair smoking room and laundry facilities can be found. I enjoyed my staying in there.
Like real hotel but cheaper and you have only a bed for your space and you share a large bathroom/shower area. But they had all the amenities, and easy check-in, check-out. I booked the ladies dorm through Booking. The lounge area was large with a TV and massage chairs, and it had vending machines with drinks and cup noodles. I would have liked a kitchen to refill my water bottle, but this is a capsule...
One of the nicest capsule hotels I have stayed at. The facilities are very clean and orderly. The capsules are very spacious and come equipped with a small personal safe and a flat screen monitor. My regular place to stay every time I come to Japan. This time, I stayed for three nights and was not disappointed. I really like it. And next time, I'll definitely stay here.
My second visit! I'm always very satisfied with the consistently friendly front desk and the cleanliness.
Right next to it is the subway station. Surprisingly, there is a bathhouse! You can take a bath and even enjoy a sauna, which is very exciting. The service is excellent. For sleeping at night, you need earplugs.
Right next to it is the subway station. Surprisingly, there is a bathhouse! You can take a bath and even enjoy a sauna, which is very exciting. The service is excellent. For sleeping at night, you need earplugs.
The room is well-cleaned and all the amenities you need are provided. The woman at the counter is also very nice, and breakfast is available from 5am, with curry, rice balls, bread, etc. There are two hair clips, but both were loose and didn't work well. There are also three showers, but the water pressure is very weak. Other than those two points, everything else was okay!
The amenities is good 👍 but I guess there’s always the issue for people who book the hotel on trip.com. I thought I booked an individual capsule space however it’s not . The image was completely wrong and misleading. Sec floor space where you can heat up your food and eat there but the smoke smell too heavy that I almost vomit

Excellent facilities. Sauna was a solid 99 degrees and the cold bath was 15. Another sauna was 83 and less crowded. There are towels, toothbrush/razors etc as you would expect. A little over ¥2000 for multiple hours, I was in and out for ¥1600.super convenient after hiking.
Nice service and nothing wrong with the facilities as such (and still recommended for anyone who has never been to a Japanese spa/onsen before) but it really is a very small spa - not much bigger than the average ¥500 suburban sento. The main issue is there's no outside area and, other than one window with a good view in the main sauna, there isn't anywhere pleasant to sit for any length of time when...
Great location came here for a quick sauna before heading to the airport. 1 hr ¥1600 but if you exceed this time you will need pay 5 hrs. If you r not rushing for time take the 2hr package at ¥2500. It was quite crowded for the men section on a Sunday afternoon
As the reviews say, the sauna temperature is low!
Can’t comment on the rooms as I only came for the day spa before catching my night flight out of Haneda. The location is great - you don’t have to step out on the road as it is connected underground from the Yokohama station. My daughter and I spent 3 hours there and had a good rest, soak, a tasty meal before heading to Haneda. The soya milk noodles were delicious. The Chicken tasted like it was grilled...
I stayed here to catch the airport bus. The facilities are great, including a bath, sauna, and rest area. However, the booth entrances are curtained, so it's not suitable for people who are bothered by neighboring noise or snoring. YCAT is just a short elevator ride away! For me, the location was perfect.

Wonderful onsen with full amenities, multiple types of resting rooms, restaurants (extra), and spa treatments (extra). Where to start? I don't know why it has a lower rating, but this place is fantastic! We went on a Saturday late morning, and it did get busier in the afternoon. Can not ask more for what I paid for. Will definitely come back again and again. The room is bigger than the picture they show on the website. The food are tasty. And the location is so convenient for everything I need to get done.
I stayed here for one night after missing my train home. It was very close to Omiya Station and the staff was very friendly. I hadn't eaten all day, so seeing the curry bar, I was very excited. It was a nice touch. The facility is quiet and very clean. I highly recommend this place, and will be booking again the next time I visit Omiya!
We booked the vertical capsule for a night during golden week. Unexpectedly amazing stay for the price! The capsule was quite large for being located at a prime spot and the bathroom and showers were spotless. On top of everything else, the free ice cream, rice and curry and instant noodles were at our disposal for midnight cravings. Totally worth it!
off the beaten path, you'll find a safe haven "capsule hotel" with a cool treehouse concept. the curry is delicious, the ice cream is amazing and the showers are clean and comfortable. cool place. thank you very much.
This is a hotel where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat curry and soft ice cream, as well as around 40,000 comics. This is number one. The floor has a hideaway feel, is fashionable and clean, and has all the necessary rooms. Good location old capsule hotel. What annoyed me is the following. You need to check out every single day. You cannot leave anything in your capsule so you have to move everything twice every day. Let’s say you want to go to your room; you meed to do the following. Wait for elevator. There is probably a line so you have to wait for the second elevator. Then take off your shoes in a 1sq meter place...
I had a very pleasant experience overall. The capsule bed was clean and comfortable, and essentials such as towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, and pyjamas were provided. During the booking process, it was stated that luggage storage...
This is my go-to capsule hotel whenever I’m in Shinjuku. However, if you are conscious of cleanliness and looking for a hostel to stay, this is not right for you, as you need to check out by midday per their policy. Cleanliness isn't their thing, but the location is almost perfect at an affordable price. You can book breakfast, but it's from a different location, so it’s kinda a hassle. Overall, affordability...

The price was reasonable, and there was a low-temperature sauna and various public baths, so I was able to stay comfortably. On my second night, when there was no indoor clothing available, I was able to let the reception know.
The large public bath was nice
It's about a ten-minute walk from Kawasaki Station. Just across the main road is the commercial district. It's very lively at night, with yakitori bars and beautiful women. It's generally quiet at night, suitable for ordinary people traveling to Japan. It's mainly about saving money, and the main price is economical.

I may be there again. Good service ! I lost my ear pod, the security tried hard to look for it for me. Location is not that well. 10-15 minutes walk to station. Area is red light district but no bother me if I ignore all solicitation. Okinawa is kind of behind than the Japan mainland, no subway! Tropical weather if I go winter season. I may may go again if I find a reason to go.
The room is small, self-service check-in/out, parking is paid, and you need to get a card from the counter to exit the parking lot. There is a hot spring area on the second floor where you can soak for free. It is very close to Kokusai-dori.
It was clean, the facilities were good, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again. I stayed in a capsule, and was able to take a dip in the hot springs, so it was great value for money.
Although it was located in the entertainment district, it was quiet even during Golden Week. My flight was delayed and I arrived at the hotel after 1am, but a friendly man at the front desk helped me out a lot. There was also a bath, so I was able to relax after my trip. I was grateful that the price was less than 10,000 yen for a room only, even during Golden Week.
Good hotel in general. Just located a bit far from the center and not really transportation nearby. Otherwise all good

That was my first experience in that type of hostel. It was actually really nice after I experienced being in another one. It was average the air was bad in the sleeping pod. I can’t really breathe well.

Hotel prices have been really high lately, so even though I wasn't thrilled about it, I booked a capsule hotel with a guaranteed spot on the first floor this time. It was only a few stops from Shinjuku and very close to the station, which sealed the deal. True to its name, it's a women-only hotel, which made me feel very safe. What truly impressed me were the amenities: free alcohol, free late-night...
I heard that starting March 4, 2026, it will become women-only. It's a shame that men won't be able to stay here anymore, but next time I visit, I'll definitely check out the Shinjuku branch. I've stayed at four of their locations in Tokyo, and the Ogikubo branch, just like the others, was impeccably clean.
The lockers were spacious, the bath was nice, and the bathroom amenities were also very easy to use. They had ramen and curry for breakfast and dinner, which was nice. The popcorn was also good with the alcohol. However, it was hot inside the capsule.
I already dream of coming back here. I don’t think you could get any more a positive experience from a capsule hotel. This will be my home base in future Tokyo trips!
Anshin Oyado Ogikubo is a well-equipped capsule hotel with complete men’s amenities — no need to bring your own. The location is slightly out of the city, about a few stations away from Shinjuku, and around 45 minutes to other major attractions.
