Excellent ryokan hotel with excellent service, amenities and food. The outdoor/ indoor public baths (onsens) are one of the biggest and most amazing I have ever seen. Although there are many rooms and guests, the service is unparalleled so you don’t experience long queues anywhere. There is a museum in the hotel compound if you are bored!

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. It's excellent. Although it's a bit far from the station, they offer a shuttle service, which is great.

The rooms are clean and the hot spring facilities are varied. The staff were friendly and helpful, even recommending nearby restaurants. You can also use the sister hot spring, Ruriko.

Stayed here for 2 nights after landing into Tokyo. It’s a friendly and clean hostel with great facilities! It’s slightly out of the centre, but easy enough to travel to via the metro and underground! It is under a train line that runs from 5am to 10pm so do expect some shaking and noise!

Unfortunately, this meant the most amount of snoring I have ever heard, literally every bunk bed in the dorm. Bunk curtains are also no good for blocking light out or privacy. We loved our family stay at Meteor! They have a lovely eco friendly and sharing ethos and a very welcoming environment. Chika, Coco, Clara and all the staff made our stay so enjoyable.
