Very customer service oriented & professional. Seaview room is wonderful. Room for improvement is to upgrade power charging points to USB & type C friendly, sell cup noodles in your resort shops
Insane accommodation it absolutely blew my mind. Very value for money considering the astounding facilities and sumptuous dinner and buffet breakfast. Will stay again anytime. Rooms very clean and comfortable
Very good!beautiful view and service!
This resort is definitely overrated! The resort seriously need a major overhaul. The room we stayed was so old & aged, I am pretty sure they have not done any upgrade in the past few decades 👎! My wife and I don’t even feel like spending time in the room at all. Everything in the room need to replace or touch up, I mean literally from the wall, toilet tiles, basin, shower faucet even the mattress…...
Excellent ryokan hotel with excellent service, amenities and food. The outdoor/ indoor public baths (onsens) are one of the biggest and most amazing I have ever seen. Although there are many rooms and guests, the service is unparalleled so you don’t experience long queues anywhere. There is a museum in the hotel compound if you are bored!
A nice and comfortable hotel. The hotel should inform this booking website about dinner option and allow customers to choose between Italian or Japanese cuisine.

Enjoyed the onsen and room is spacious. Woke up to a grand view of Mount Yufu, which was a big bonus.
convenient,great service and nice buffet.
Thw family suite is good enough
and onsen is good !!
The hotel offered good amenities and well-maintained facilities. The service provided by the staff was excellent—friendly, helpful, and responsive. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel has a great location, and the staff are very friendly. When I reported insects in my room, the staff responded quickly and helped resolve the issue – excellent!
The restaurant offers buffet breakfast and dinner; the food is good, and there's a wide selection of drinks.
Located a convenient 10 minute walk from Yufuin station, Sansuikan is a great option if you're looking to treat yourself for a night. There are free flow snacks and drinks (including alcohol) in the lobby, and the dinner and breakfast are all-you-can-eat buffet style, also with free flow drinks. There are two onsens, M/F on the 1st/2nd floor and they swap service twice daily. Both floors have outdoor...
Conveniently located near the train station. The dinner buffet is excellent but the breakfast is just so so.

This is a quiet, clean, and welcoming spot to stay if you are planning a ski trip to the Hacuba area. We were so impressed with the hospitality of the landlady and all of the staff, including the shuttle driver who went above and beyond to help us with our luggage forwarding. The pension was so clean, and the amenities were a bonus. Our room had a shower but there is a private bath in the pension that...
Pension Kobekko was a great spot to stay for checking out all the ski hills in Hakuba valley. It’s a quiet location 1km from the base of Tsuigaike ski resort. There is a shuttle that from the pension to the base of the ski hill and from there you can catch the V2 shuttle bus to all the ski hills in the area for 1000 yen per person cash or 800 yen if you buy tickets online.
The owners were so kind...
The pension is placed quietly at 5 min drive from the Tsugaike ski resort. They offer a shuttle that can take you there morning and evening. Amenities are more than enough with hot bath, a big kids play room, a common room for relaxing and reading.
The staff is friendly, always helpful and was wonderful with our two year-old. And last but not least the evening meals were fantastic with a Chinese refined...
Perfect stay at this lovely and homey hotel near the Ski resort. Service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. They accommodated our requests and arranged for shuttle service to and from the nearby village. The Japanese bath at the hotel was a plus!
Very close to Tsugaike Gondola and Ropeway. Found this lovely inn while looking for somewhere to stay as we planned on hiking the alps. Landlady Manmaru is definitely a highlight of our stay, her kindness, humour, and care was a warm welcome. All staff were very kind as well. The hotel felt like old school luxury with great hospitality! Please get the dinner option if you are staying here, it’s quite the experience. There’s also a convenient gift shop within the hotel!
This was a very lovely resort! The view from our room was breathtaking!
We called for pick-up from the train station and waited about 10 minutes. The next morning our ride back to the train station was waiting when we arrived in the lobby.
The beds were prepared at 6pm. Dinner was reservation only, which we did not have. We walked 20 minutes into the little town to a hidden gem Ramen shop that opened...
It was the best birthday trip ever.
Everything is good and the dining environment is good! There is also the sound of insects in the creek. The bathing environment is also good, but it is a pity that there are few outdoor areas. The indoor bathing environment is quite clean. The room layout is Japanese style, the tatami beds are made efficiently, and the space is quite sufficient. Unfortunately, we did not stay long enough to experience...

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. It's excellent. Although it's a bit far from the station, they offer a shuttle service, which is great.
The rooms are clean and the hot spring facilities are varied.
The staff were friendly and helpful, even recommending nearby restaurants.
You can also use the sister hot spring, Ruriko.
I really loved this hotel; unfortunately, I only stayed one night, but it was totally worth it! I'd love to come back again.
The room was clean, but it was a shame there wasn't a dinner-inclusive plan for solo travelers (or maybe I just couldn't find one?). Generally, I think the service is good, but I did notice some of the staff (waitresses?) chatting in the entrance while waiting for guests. I thought it might be better for them to wait in the back-of-house instead.
Traveling solo, I splurged on a Japanese-style room that could probably fit four people. It's an older ryokan, but that didn't really detract from the experience. The only thing was that during the off-season, the in-house restaurant for dinner was closed, so I had to buy food from a convenience store and bring it back.
Regarding the service, the shuttle driver was incredibly diligent and responsible...
This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement.

Very big room, clean, and very friendly owner!! The breakfast was great.
The location is a bit remote, but not a problem if you have a car. It is super quiet at night.
An amazing experience !!! The owners are lovely and talkative, if you like adventure and being out of your comfort zone during your discovery of the north of Okinawa, I recommend !!! Breakfast also very yummy
Lodging is simple and comfortable. Has good chicken with the stall next to the lodging. Owners are very kind and helpful
Very friendly and helpful owner. Offered to give a lift to the bus stop
I stayed at a rural inn featured in Japanese dramas (except for the one in picture 1)...perfect for taking CCD photos 🤣 But it was so expensive during the summer! It's usually under 200 yen, but I booked 500 yen a night. I passed another hotel (pic 1) that was 2780 yen a night, so I skipped it.

This is the only hostel I’ve stay in Japan, but this is one of the best I’ve stayed during my international travels. I had a private room on the second floor, convenient to laundry and eating area. Despite being directly under the trains, I found it quiet. Yes, you can hear the trains, but they don’t seem to run all night. I slept great, didn’t even need the ear plugs they provided at check in. Staff...
I've stayed at this hostel twice now, most recently I stayed here for 2 weeks and had an absolutely wonderful time! The people that work in this hostel are absolutely wonderful –always so friendly and welcoming! ☺️

I’ve stayed in many hostels across Tokyo, this by far has been the most enjoyable. Great location and outstanding multi-lingual staff.
The chicken curry is SUPREME! Be sure to order it if it’s on the menu…
Definitely my new go-to hostel whenever I touch down in Tokyo!
I stayed here for almost two weeks and absolutely loved everything about this place and its surroundings. I even pushed my luggage all the way on a flat surface from Oshiage Skytree Station and took the Keisei Sky Access straight to Narita Terminal 1 — super convenient.

Stayed here for 2 nights after landing into Tokyo. It’s a friendly and clean hostel with great facilities! It’s slightly out of the centre, but easy enough to travel to via the metro and underground! It is under a train line that runs from 5am to 10pm so do expect some shaking and noise!

Highly recommended for solo traveler. The location is convenient and the staffs are helpful and friendly.
Overall the experience is excellent . Only complaint is the shower, sometimes it get really cold and sometimes really hot.
It was such a good thing I choose this place . I am Nepali and the reception lady was also Nepali lol she speak Nepali I was shocked lol she help me a lot and over all I was happy. And that Nepali lady super good hospitality:)
Service was really good.
And, the location was perfect.
Great service here the staff are lovely, happy to help you. Also the location is great so close to the monorail and the bus station. Their is a few things that need a little bit more attention like the broken toilet and a block sink. Also i had problems with the WiFi, it was very slow.
Beds were comfy and friendly staff, great location and price. However, I felt like I was staying in an old people's home with lots of long term stays. Unfortunately, this meant the most amount of snoring I have ever heard, literally every bunk bed in the dorm. Bunk curtains are also no good for blocking light out or privacy. Nice chill out area and great kitchen. And fridges etc.

Take the free shuttle bus directly from Yugawara Station. The room is a single without a bathtub or shower, but there are plenty of outlets and USB ports. However, there are only two hangers. The main building is a little old, but it is only for overnight...
I was surprised at how luxurious the food was for the price.
Thank you very much.
There are no bathing facilities in the room, it is a bit troublesome to go to the hot spring bath; the indoor hot spring is very small, it is recommended to go directly to the outdoor one; the breakfast buffet options are many, dinner is very rich.
I think it's a great place for couples to go. The fireworks were amazing. The bus ride costs about 1,600 yen per person.
Izuminoyu was very good. What's more, guests could use the baths for free the next day, and they even lent us towels. This is a very reasonable hotel, so I would like to use it again.
The room was clean and tidy,
the staff were very friendly,
the food was delicious and sumptuous,
and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip with friends.
I stayed here with the intention of relaxing in my room,
and it was exactly what I expected,

There were various options for enjoyment, including a walking bath, a waterfall shower, and a sauna.

What a little gem! We really enjoyed our stay here. The island has its own weird, nefarious history. But if anything that adds to its mystery…and possibly lack of guests. The hotel was nearly empty, which meant we had almost exclusive use of the onsen.
The food was tasty Japanese fare - westerners not familiar with it will almost certainly struggle, and there are no restaurants or convenience stores...
Celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, we stayed at Shima Kanko Hotel The Bay Suite the night before and enjoyed some black abalone. On our way to our next accommodation, Auberge Yusura, we, being hot spring lovers, enjoyed the open-air garden bath, "Kazemachi no Yu," at Fukujuso.♨ To get there, you have to take a 3-minute boat ride... I realized that this is where "Haifu," the awful accommodation...
When visiting Ise-san, I used this hot spring inn as it was relatively close. It is located on a small island off the coast of a ria coast, and if you wish to stay overnight, you will enter from the opposite shore by a special boat. The boat ride only takes about 3 minutes, but it's quite atmospheric. Because the hot springs are located along the coast, they are chloride springs with a high salt concentration...
Fresh seafood is delicious. There will be more than you can eat. It has a good flavor overall. The open-air bath on the first floor is popular, but the indoor bath on the sixth floor has fewer customers. The bathtub on the 6th floor hasn't been cleaned enough and is full of mold. Even though it wasn't even the day before a holiday, there were quite a few customers. There are many group tourists, and...

Extremely hygenic and clean, super affordable compared to other options at the time I booked it. The owner was really helpful enabling late check-in, furthermore he helped me with laundry detegrents. Laundry wa extremely affordable as well. Definitely my go-to spot in the future.
It's a relatively clean and tidy B&B. However, if you check in after 8pm, you must contact the hotel in advance to leave your key, otherwise you may not be able to check in! The bathroom doesn't have a Washlet toilet, but everything else is fine.
A clean and comfortable hotel. Bus stops are very close. The receptionist is a good and understanding person. I will choose this hotel again next time I come.
The room is relatively large compared to Japanese hotels, and it is clean and comfortable. The hotel is relatively safe, and the location is good, and it is convenient to go anywhere. There are no disadvantages except that the wall panels are thin and not very soundproof, and the price is quite affordable.
It snowed when I stayed in the hotel
The room is not narrow, it is considered wide for Japan. The facilities are complete. Check-in is not chaotic. You can leave your luggage before check-in and check-out. Leave it before check-in. Place was great for a traditional Japanese experience. Some instructions in English for when to wear the shoes and robes, and how to put the beds together would be helpful.
10. This is an old hotel with a full sense of history. It is suitable for a two-day retreat. Because the hotel is on the mountain, tourists can hardly go out at night. The room design is very reasonable and you can see the panoramic view of Nagasaki.

One night and two meals are unexpectedly delicious 😋 The room in the new building is very clean, and the night view is really amazing! You can also enjoy the fun of hot springs. You can see the mountain...
The room was very spacious and clean, and the view was great too. Breakfast was included and it was a buffet, which was very good. There was a wide variety of options, so it was great.
