Comfortable to go other place. It'sclose to bus express and shinjuku station
Location is good, and all these rooms are very clean, they will clean everyday after 11am. Fair price for the hotel
Good location old capsule hotel. What annoyed me is the following. You need to check out every single day. You cannot leave anything in your capsule so you have to move everything twice every day. Let’s say you want to go to your room; you meed to do the following. Wait for elevator. There is probably a line so you have to wait for the second elevator. Then take off your shoes in a 1sq meter place...
I had a very pleasant experience overall. The capsule bed was clean and comfortable, and essentials such as towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, and pyjamas were provided. I also found the designated areas for suitcases and other personal belongings in the capsule room very practical.
The only downside for me was the luggage storage situation. During the booking process, it was stated that luggage storage...
This is my go-to capsule hotel whenever I’m in Shinjuku. However, if you are conscious of cleanliness and looking for a hostel to stay, this is not right for you, as you need to check out by midday per their policy. Cleanliness isn't their thing, but the location is almost perfect at an affordable price. You can book breakfast, but it's from a different location, so it’s kinda a hassle. Overall, affordability...
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Associa. The location is extremely convenient, especially for travelers using JR trains — direct access to or very close to the station made moving around effortless, even with luggage.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby.
The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, "Your public bath is...
Very good! The facilities are new and the location is excellent, perfect for solo travelers. It's really nice; the room is spacious and it's located right on a commercial street with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which is super convenient!
The mattress wasn't very comfortable, and the poor soundproofing made it quite noisy, which affected my sleep.
Great location, excellent value for money, perfect for solo travelers.
This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe...
Oo troublesome for guests. We have to check in and check out everyday. The problem is that, Trip.com didn't mention that. Too bad.

Kawasaki, Kawasaki-ku, Ogawacho 15-11 🧭 Map
The price was reasonable, and there was a low-temperature sauna and various public baths, so I was able to stay comfortably.
On my second night, when there was no indoor clothing available, I was able to let the reception know.
The large public bath was nice
It's about a ten-minute walk from Kawasaki Station. Just across the main road is the commercial district. It's very lively at night, with yakitori bars and beautiful women. It's generally quiet at night, suitable for ordinary people traveling to Japan. It's mainly about saving money, and the main price is economical.
Capsule only. Trouble extending my stay. Mostly a sauna for locals. I'll be back . Very happy.
Convenient check-in at any time
You cannot check in between 10am and 3pm, and you cannot check in for consecutive days. Do you need to pay extra? It is not convenient to change keys and get shoes when going out.

Prime location, clean, friendly staff. Used business single, perfect for solo travelers. Some might find it small but if you just chuck your suitcase away it’s not so bad. It has all the essentials.
Ah bathroom toilet might be tight for tall people.
The room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was excellent! A special thank you to the staff for finding my ring that I had dropped in the room! I wasn't sure if I'd lost it on the street or in the room, so I called the hotel on a whim to ask if they'd found a ring, and to my surprise, it really was left in the room. The ring itself is quite valuable, so I'm incredibly grateful to the staff. They...
convinient location but room not very clean. may prefer to stay at other similar priced budget business hotels next time.
Best combination of hostel and hotel with best and most friendliest and helpful staff as well as always a great breskfast buffet, really worth the price 😜
This place is very well-run with its dormitories. There is space to store items like clothes in the shower room, and the lounge on the first floor is comfortable. There is also free tea and a coffee capsule machine. There were a lot of comic books.
Location was perfect. Good breakfast. The room was bigger than I expected.

I may be there again. Good service ! I lost my ear pod, the security tried hard to look for it for me. Location is not that well. 10-15 minutes walk to station. Area is red light district but no bother me if I ignore all solicitation. Okinawa is kind of behind than the Japan mainland, no subway! Tropical weather if I go winter season. I may may go again if I find a reason to go.
The room is small, self-service check-in/out, parking is paid, and you need to get a card from the counter to exit the parking lot. There is a hot spring area on the second floor where you can soak for free. It is very close to Kokusai-dori.
It was clean, the facilities were good, and I had a comfortable stay.
I would like to stay here again.
I stayed in a capsule, and was able to take a dip in the hot springs, so it was great value for money.
Although it was located in the entertainment district, it was quiet even during Golden Week. My flight was delayed and I arrived at the hotel after 1am, but a friendly man at the front desk helped me out a lot. There was also a bath, so I was able to relax after my trip. I was grateful that the price was less than 10,000 yen for a room only, even during Golden Week.
Good hotel in general. Just located a bit far from the center and not really transportation nearby. Otherwise all good
The capsule was spacious and big enough for a solo traveller. The matress was okay, could be more comfy. Bathroom and shower were clean. Hot water and WiFi were available all the time. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I give them a 10/10 rating, but I should mention one issue. I paid tax twice—the staff asked for a tax payment, even though the online payment I made earlier already included taxes. This was a bit disappointing
lovely hostel. Should bring your own amenities as not provided
The hostel is very nice and modern. Good location in the heart of Kyoto but a bit distant from subway stations and buses. Yet still easy to travel to famous tourist spots in the city. Cabin was standard size with nice common areas at basement. Large storage room allowed you to keep luggages before checking in and during your stay which is a plus . I loooove Piece Hostel Sanjo! The staff is super helpful, its in a very good location whereby you'll reach the train station or bus stop in less than 10 mins by foot! If you’re thinking about staying at the hostel in La'gent Hotel Okinawa Chatan—this is your sign.
It’s one of those places that’s affordable but doesn’t feel cheap. Clean facilities, cozy beds, good location, and a calm atmosphere that makes solo travel feel easy.
No regrets at all—actually one of my favorite stays this trip.
The front desk staff were super friendly and patient, and the room was really clean. There's a dry cleaning machine available, and you need a key card for everything in the shower area, which keeps it safe and tidy. Great choice for solo travelers!
All good, the breakfast is also good.
Solo trip but the staff and the public place is super nice highly recommended ppl here and u can also get a free ice cream each day
Perfect hostel for solo travellers. It gets the job done and its near the airport which makes it very convenient. Amenities are very good too
First time trying out a bunker bed just for experience. I was very surprised indeed. So spacious clean and have all the basic that we need. Of course less toothpaste and luckily i brought my own. Highly recommended hotel. Near to sunset beach and American village.

Close from and to the Yokohama train station..Clean and nice shower bath...Friendly and kind front desk staff...Many good restaurants and shops around area. Safe neighborhoods..
That was my first experience in that type of hostel. It was actually really nice after I experienced being in another one. It was just a bit difficult to remember my key and pushing unlock-but great for safety. Just maneuvering all my stuff around was a bit of a trick-but it was a very nice organized place.
It was average the air was bad in the sleeping pod. I can’t really breathe well.
The beds were clean, and there were enough communal showers and toilets. The lockers were a bit narrow, only big enough for daily essentials. Larger bags and suitcases had to be stored in the common storage room.
Convenient location and clean. Great amenities like toothbrush, towels, pjs and slippers were provided, as well as there being makeup cleanser, toner and location in the ladies washroom. Check in and check out was easy.
Note that there is no longer luggage storage after check out, and the sauna/baths are men-only.

Hotel prices have been really high lately, so even though I wasn't thrilled about it, I booked a capsule hotel with a guaranteed spot on the first floor this time. It was only a few stops from Shinjuku and very close to the station, which sealed the deal. True to its name, it's a women-only hotel, which made me feel very safe. What truly impressed me were the amenities: free alcohol, free late-night...
I heard that starting March 4, 2026, it will become women-only. It's a shame that men won't be able to stay here anymore, but next time I visit, I'll definitely check out the Shinjuku branch. I've stayed at four of their locations in Tokyo, and the Ogikubo branch, just like the others, was impeccably clean.
The lockers were spacious, the bath was nice, and the bathroom amenities were also very easy to use. They had ramen and curry for breakfast and dinner, which was nice. The popcorn was also good with the alcohol. However, it was hot inside the capsule.
I already dream of coming back here. I don’t think you could get any more a positive experience from a capsule hotel. This will be my home base in future Tokyo trips!
Anshin Oyado Ogikubo is a well-equipped capsule hotel with complete men’s amenities — no need to bring your own. The location is slightly out of the city, about a few stations away from Shinjuku, and around 45 minutes to other major attractions. However, Ogikubo itself is a charming small town worth exploring — quiet, clean, and perfect for relaxation. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from...

Facilities were pretty clean and good. Stayed in the women's only floor and luckily in the lower bunk or else I might have hard time going up and down on the upper bunk. The area have lots of nearby restaurants, and it's nearby the dotonboori and malls so shopping and strolling will be no worries.
The rooms are clean, and the male and female floors are separated. The front desk service is very friendly. It's very close to JR Namba Station and OCAT Bus Terminal, making it ideal for travelers catching early morning buses.
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, so I was quite worried, but I found the facilities to be clean and especially considerate towards women. They provided sanitary pads, hair lotion, and spray in the restrooms. Even for the affordable price, I was very satisfied. The space separation was well done, and it was so cute that the front desk handed out candies! However, it's about a 15 to...
I felt safe and comfortable .They had only the women's floor and everything was clean. The location is very close to OCAT building where I got off from Haneda airport bus, but it's about 15 mins walk to the shopping center.

The rooms and common areas are very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The cleaning staff came every day, and my roommates were all friendly. I had no issues during my extended stay here. This hostel in Funabashi is really good.
It's a capsule hotel, so it's understandable, but it's very good from the perspective of a place with no meals included.
Would not recommend if you're foreign
The Showa-style capsule hotel with a history of more than 30 years is easy to find next to Funabashi Station. The clerk does not speak English, so communicate in Japanese or with translation software.
There are Chinese and English precautions at the front desk, which the clerk will give. Large luggage can be stored in the stairwell and can be taken at any time.
The storage compartment space is okay...
It's close to the Keisei and JR stations, so I use it as a place to stay the night before an early morning flight from Narita Airport.
They are all old men. There are female waiters in the big bath. Be careful, don't go if you are shy. It is old and retro, but it is good. The comics are all in Japanese and I can't understand them. The occupancy rate is not high, but it's okay if you are socially anxious.

The capsule rooms are a little uncomfortable as most capsules do. But the public bath and all the relaxation areas were excellent. Staff is very friendly and it is definitely worth the price.
First time in a capsule hostal, and this was SO amazing.
Was to be in a gentleman club.
Bathroom and sauna was amazing, a Lot of space, and amenities.
Hoster we're very helpfully because check-in software is just in Japanese, but they helped me with everything.
Definilty i Will go again.
Also was very close to transport and adult service ;)
Very clean and comfortable bath with many pools and different facilities.
Incredible sauna facilities. One of the best I’ve experienced. Definitely recommend for sauna if you’re travelling to Hiroshima and need to recharge your batteries
Auto leil is powerful. Variations on the three saunas are also good. Although it is a compact space, it has all the necessary elements for a trendy sauna. It would have been better if there was a type of chair with a fallen back.
Cheap. Friendly staff. Nice onseen. Good location.

I visited in winter, and I highly recommend the package that includes breakfast. Even though there's a convenience store just a block away, it's too cold in the morning. Being able to enjoy a freshly prepared Western breakfast without having to go out was great, and the staff's English was excellent.
The room was a bit small, and there wasn't a good place to put luggage. The soundproofing was also quite poor; I could clearly hear people talking in the common area at night, though I know that's primarily their issue. Overall, it was okay.
Absolutely loved this hostel.
The way the beds are arranged mean that nobody is next to you, which led to better privacy. The common spaces were clean and well used by guests and the staff were amazing. One of the better hostels I have stayed at in my time.
The showers are small, but that’s comparative for bathrooms in Japan.
The front desk staff were super friendly and nice! The price was quite affordable, and it was easy to find. In a multi-person dorm, snoring is pretty much inevitable, but with earplugs, it was fine, and I slept pretty well.
This is my third time staying at Imano Hostel. The front desk staff are very friendly, and most importantly, the location is incredibly convenient. A great stay. The capsule room was comfortable and spacious. Great service!
The hostel is conveniently located directly outside Higashimikuni Station (take exit 1-3 for the nearest entry to the hostel). I stayed here for 4 nights and it was reasonably comfortable. Weird rules 10am need to out even booked for 3 night
This was my first experience staying at a capsule hotel so it takes some getting used to at first, but I was really pleasantly surprised. The shower facilities are very nice and clean. It's really inconvenient that shoes have to be locked on the first floor. The lockers are also too narrow to fit a suitcase. Other than that, the conditions are pretty good.

Loved the hotel so much that we decided to extend our trip here at Osaka because of this hostel! Loved the super woke culture and staff of this hotel. Too cool
The room was spacious and the neighborhood was quiet, yet not too far from the subway station. Wandering through the small streets felt very much like being in Japan. The front desk staff was incredibly patient and communicated with me using a translator. The bathroom and shower were very clean. However, it's worth noting that this room only has a private shower, not a private toilet.
Great location! It's only a 10-minute walk to the pedestrian shopping street. However, the water temperature was quite low, and the air conditioning was too dry. The humidifier didn't seem to help much. Overall, though, it was a good stay.

The hotel is accessible and well located, the staff was nice and friendly and the place is near the subway station.
A great experience overall, but getting anywhere requires a long walk since there's no subway or bus service nearby in Japan. Everything depends on walking. The cleanliness was excellent. I expected a tiny room, but it turned out to be just right in terms of size.
I had a wonderful two-day stay here. The hygiene was impeccable, and the room was quite spacious. My favorite part was the communal kitchen in the common area. I wasn't quite used to Japanese food, so it was a lifesaver that the kitchen was fully equipped. I could prepare my own meals.
The location is not far from the station. The staffs are very friendly and they gave us good recommendation for halal food as well during our stays.
Japanese hostels are really clean, much better than those in China, and relatively quieter. Overall, Japanese hostels offer great value for money, with well-maintained facilities and meticulous service. They're perfect for budget-conscious backpackers, solo travelers, or those who enjoy socializing, especially in areas like Kansai with many attractions.
