Located near station. Onsen is good, there are rotemburos, but both without view. Water has strong hydrogene sulphide smell. Room in japanese style was quite old, design and furniture of Showa era. Despite this it is charming place: koi pond, chinese acrobat performance, nice view from the room. There is a good japanese diner nearby.

Here is my first night of my life in Japan. Very impress of nice and calm with good services and very delicious local food and also traditional onsen.Locates next to a train station and also department stores. Got conveniences to reside at Hana Isawa Hotel.

The drink service on the day was delicious.
The shabu-shabu for dinner was tasty.
There was so much to choose from that I couldn't eat all the rice, so I had rice balls instead.
The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options.

A nice Onsen hotel with hotspring facilities in the building. Book this room as it was the few that was vacant. Rooms are limited on the Saturday. My room is on the 3rd floor and it is right next to the dining hall. We share the corridor is rather noisy till roughly 9pm. Only after dinner and cleaning up is done the noise settle down. If you are one that sleeps early, do book other floors and not this. Onsen is good with indoor and outdoor. My room is spacious and has a toilet. Toilet do not have showers, only a sink. Facilities and amenities are a little old, but still overall a clean place.

Close to Isawa onsen station where you can take both buses, local & faster trains.
The hotel is a bit old school but nice, breakfast is a buffe which was pretty good, the onsen/shower & bathing was alright.
Most rooms higher up have a great view over the city.
There’s a 7/11 about 5/10 minutes from the hotel. Lots of vending machines at the 1st floor for water, beer, soda, coffee etc.
Barely an hour with bus from Kawaguchiko. 1 station from Kofu which you can take bus to shosenkyo (great nature experience and a ripe way to a beautiful mountain with awesome views), also walking distance to the Kawanakajima battle reenactment in oct/nov.

The facilities seem a little old, but the staff are hospitable and the place is clean, so I think it's a good place to stay.
The room is a Japanese-style room. When I checked in, the futon was laid out, but it's nice to be able to lie down right away. The toilet and sink are by the window, so it's hard to use because the table and refrigerator get in the way. However, the refrigerator and air conditioner were good and cold.
The hot spring seems to be from a private source, and it's clear but a little slimy, which is nice. The heated one can get hot, but the cold one might be closer to the source. The cooler one was also slimy. There is also an open-air bath, which is nice.
I was glad that I happened to be able to see the fireworks at night. It was short, though.
This time, I went to see the peaches and grapes, but it seems there is also cormorant fishing, so next time I might come to see the cormorant fishing.

The overall evaluation of the hotel is not so good, but the day-use bathing wasn't bad. It's a 5-minute walk from Isawa Onsen Station, so you can drop in for a quick visit. Day-use bathing is available from 14:00, so I went at 14:30, and there was no one there as the hotel guests had not yet checked in, so I was able to enjoy the freshly cleaned, clean changing room and bathroom all to myself. The hot spring is of high quality, flowing directly from the hotel's own source. The bath felt like a large public bath at a public inn. The cost was around 1600 yen for a bath towel with the inn's name on it, a toothbrush set, a plastic drawstring bag, and a rental bath towel.

Staff was very kind and accommodating. Bath was very nice. Elevators were small and had to wait around a long time to catch an elevator when the facility was crowded. Food was beautiful and fresh, but a little advanced for kids. Wish they had a little bit more western breakfast choices. Rooms and futons were comfortable and clean. Facility could be updated a little bit, but overall was acceptable stay. Thank you.

The name of the hotel is "Hana Isawa". This time, thanks to the nationwide travel support, the hotel price was discounted by 20% and we received a coupon worth 4,000 yen for two people. It feels like we got free souvenirs. The lobby on the first floor is unnecessarily spacious. The room is a Japanese-style room. Perhaps they are short-staffed, as the futons have already been laid out. It really is a traditional hot spring inn. We were on the seventh floor, so the view from the window stretched into the distance. Isawa Onsen is a rural town. There is no hot spring town atmosphere at all, is there?
