The hotel is very clean and smells great. It's located very close to the Atomic Bomb Dome and the bus station for the airport shuttle. Hiroshima is a small city, so the location is excellent. There’s a Lawson right next door. I didn't try the breakfast.

A great stay, full of memorable moments. The hotel is very well located, close to the main points of interest. There is also a convenience store right next door, as well as a very good restaurant open 24/7 and really affordable (under 1,000 yen). The room was also very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the welcome was friendly. Highly recommended!

The location is great for visiting Heiwa Kōen (Peace Park) and for sightseeing around the city, and the price is also very reasonable. I noticed that many of the guests were from overseas. While there's a public bath, it was smaller than I expected. Also, it would be nice if the welcome drink service started a bit earlier.

it’s my fav dormy inn so far. literally 30 steps from JR station and bus/taxi stops, while the station has souvenir shop, convenience store/atm, locker, a resto. room with separate sink, second door blocking outside sound, a tiny stool for eating, plus their signature top-floor public bath. outside the hotel some trees where birds gather every evening. if they can clean the air-con more frequently...

Toyoko Inns are a safe place to stay. Also, no matter where you go, breakfast always has something local, so I was looking forward to it, but there was a huge line from the morning so I ended up giving up. It's a shame because I woke up early in anticipation. The location is great!

The room was a bit small, but since Japanese rooms are usually small, it wasn't a problem and wasn't bad. The breakfast, while not particularly varied, was surprisingly well-prepared. The location was also good, with plenty of restaurants. However, there are many bars and entertainment venues in the alleys, so I wouldn't recommend bringing children.

Good location, friendly staff, decent breakfasts. We were not happy that, halfway during our stay, we were asked to transfer rooms. They didn't tell us the new room was a smoking room. I was up through the night coughing. The front desk crew spoke little to no English, so the details of the room change may have been lost in translation.

Had a nice stay and nothing to complain about really. The train jr station is a bit far away and the rooms are a bit old but I would go there again.

Clean hotel in a very quiet street. 30 min walk from trainstation and 5min walk from the street train station. 30 min walk to the Memorial of Atomic bomb.

I stayed here when I was traveling to Hiroshima. It was very convenient to have a Lawson nearby. The accommodation price was also cheap and reasonable.

Public bath small but authentic .Need access card from reception to enter n to return after use . Room size adequate but no Bottled water given so we had to buy own water . Car park ample space . Nothing on toiletries   to collect for ladies . Breakfast basic but sufficient

Its a perfect place to stay to enjoy and experience Yamaguchi. Its very accessible — just walking distance from the train station, and its at the center of the city this makes it easier to access highly recommended tourist spots in Yamaguchi. The staff are all friendly; the rooms are well maintained; and the food are great.

The service was excellent. The front desk staff were particularly friendly; I was surprised they remembered my room number when I gave them my name to receive my parking ticket. The complimentary late-night curry, as mentioned in other reviews, was delicious. It had plenty of vegetables in it. The convenient location right in front of Higashi-Hiroshima Station is also a major plus.

It was very convenient as it was close to the Shinkansen station. The curry for dinner was delicious. Because it was close to the station, it was easy to catch a taxi.

There's a large Aeon shopping mall next door, which is convenient. The bathroom is very small, so larger people might find it cramped. The mattress is firm. The breakfast menu is the same every day.

Great location, literally 30seconds away from Aeon Mall Okayama and the surrounding area also has lots of other shops and restaurants, not to mention it is also only 10minutes away from Okayama station

The location of the hotel is amazing as, 10min away from the JR station, you can wheel the luggage through Aeon Mall. The service is absolutely amazing and provides different types of amenities in the front desk for you to choose.

When I arrived at night, there was an Aeon Mall nearby, which met my needs; I liked the welcome drinks after drinking coffee and reading the hotel rules every day. The room was clean and hygienic

The hotel is very close to Okayama Station. There is an AEON supermarket next to it. Donki and Takashimaya are across the street. Right within the station living circle. The downside is that it is an older hotel. No renovations.

When I came back from going out around 10pm, the temperature in the room was so high that it felt like the heater was on. I thought I couldn't sleep like this, so I called the front desk. They came to check on me right away and suggested changing my room, which was very helpful. Thank you very much😊

This was my second stay at The Next Hotel. They have two locations in Hiroshima, and I've stayed at both. I definitely prefer this one over the one closer to the city center. The service here is excellent, and the staff are really friendly. They even provide a BALMUDA pour-over kettle, which shows they really put thought into their amenities. Close to train station. No on-sight parking, but commercial parking available very close. Hotel provides parking pass after checkin. Don’t pay for parking first.

For basic BNB , close to station and sea mall, the air con a bit too hot

The quality of the hotel was enough for one night. There was amenities, bathtub, and a TV. It is located right in front of Shimonoseki Station which is great.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Ichibata Railway Shinjiko Onsen Station, only two or three minutes' walk away. It is very convenient to take the Ichibata Railway to Izumo Taisha Shrine. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast and dinner are very good, including seafood bowls. The hot springs are also good and the baths are very comfortable.

This time we drove there, there was a parking lot nearby and we had to pay 500 yen. The rooms at the hot spring hotel by the lake are also very nice. Buffet style breakfast with lots of choices. recommend!

A decent business hotel with onsite elevator parking. room was standard but not too small. breakfast was decent too. bed comfortable and AC was good. just a short walk away from shopping street. combini store just next to the hotel.

Among the best 3 stars hotel I stayed in Japan so far. The front counter service staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. Location is quite central and a close walk to Atomic Bomb  Dome, Peace Garden and museum. Also, very convenient to get to Hotel and back to Hiroshima Station via street car 1, 2 & 6. The best highlight is the shower room, almost perfect.

24 hour front desk, and despite the language barrier they had a digital translator. They do try their best, got to give it to them. Location was good, alot of resturants nearby. Size of room was ok!

This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and I had a great experience! The facilities and cleanliness were top-notch. I especially liked the door between the room and the hallway; it made it much quieter and kept the air conditioning cooler. They have hot springs, ice cream, and even late-night snacks! My only regret is not staying for a few more nights. The only downside is that it's a bit far...

Hiroshima was a pleasant surprise! The city is quite large and beautiful. The hotel offers a shuttle van in the mornings that can take you to the JR station; just book it in advance at the front desk. The top floor has an onsen (hot spring bath), and after your soak, there's free ice cream. From 5 AM to 10 AM, they offer complimentary Yakult, and from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, there's free ramen and drinks...

The hotel is located on Heiwa Boulevard, a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station, and offers a free shuttle bus service to the Shinkansen station in the morning. Public transport is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven convenience store diagonally opposite. The rooms are small but cozy. Like all Dormy Inn hotels, there's no bathtub in the room, but you can enjoy the public hot springs on the rooftop....

This property far exceeded my expections. I give much credit to the exceptional service provided by the Front desk team and housekeeping. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave. As foreign guests are also using the hotel, I would recommend basic English classes...

Excellent. This hotel in Hamada is a great place for me. It's very close to the city center station, the facilities are new, there's a hot spring bath, and the price is very reasonable. I stayed here for 4 nights.

This is a child-friendly hotel. The rooms and the large public bath were clean and wonderful. There are izakayas and other establishments around the hotel, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner.

The breakfast was delicious, but it was quite crowded. I found out later that you can watch the breakfast venue on TV.

Although I stayed here during a busy time at the end of the year, the staff were polite and explained things to me kindly, so there was nothing I didn't understand. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

The location is superb, very close to the station! Right outside, there's a large supermarket just down a small path. It's also very close to the Bikan Historical Quarter, and there's a popular tonkatsu restaurant nearby that always has a long queue. The room was small, actually the smallest of the five hotels I booked on this trip. The shower came with a bathtub, and the drain was a bit clogged...

The hotel was okay, but what we really disliked was the blanked not being in a cover, but instead just lying on a sheet. Felt really unclean.

Amazing location and service! The level of cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. I've read reviews of guests complaining about the old style forniture, but we personally loved it. It gives a vintage feeling of the hotel, and since everything was so clean we enjoyed the stay a lot. Unbeatable price.

Not sure what folk are going spending for £20/night, which I paid last minute for a twin room. Comfortable bed, private bathroom, amenities and wardrobe provided. Deserves a much higher rating. Just remember to ground yourself before clicking buttons in lift/do it through clothing to avoid an electric shock (lol).

The room was a good size and the staff at the hotel were great, the only problem was the bathroom. It’s badly constructed, almost coming apart, and very small. Given the price per night, I’d have expected better quality.

The rooms are a bit worn. It was probably an old building, but it was renovated, and it feels like a long time ago. The air conditioning in the rooms is inconvenient; there are only three settings, and you don't know what the temperature is. Even on the lowest setting, the air conditioning was so cold that the room was freezing. The bathroom leaves much to be desired; everything is shabby, the toilet...

The rooms are just a little bigger than other Japanese hotel rooms we have been so far. But it definitely makes a difference when travelling with a bicycle (and therefore have too much luggage). The bathroom had a little unpleasant smell. The staff was very friendly and there is a strong coffee for free in the lobby. Location is great, good restaurants and shops nearby.

Inexpensive, clean, good location. Rooms were smaller, AC setting were only low/med/high. Bathroom was small but clean. Only down side was the mattress was very firm and the pillows(1 per bed) barely thicker than a folded towel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Matsuyama Dome for two days before heading to the Hiroshima Dome. This hotel is close to the Peace Park and seems to be quite old. Unlike the other five Dome hotels I stayed at in Japan, it didn't have separate entrances for the bathroom and bed. The room was a bit small, but it was enough for one person. It was an amazing experience in staying this hotel. The most impressive one was staff. They were so kind. I felt like staying in my neighborhood. It's conveniently located within 5 minutes from Shimonoseki Station. There are yakitori restaurants, izakayas, and convenience stores nearby, making it convenient. Since there were no non-smoking rooms, I had no choice but to reserve a smoking room. The smell of cigarettes was very strong, from the hallways to the inside of the room... If you're not a smoker, I recommend only booking a non-smoking...

It was great because it was a smoking room. The large bathhouse had hot and cold water, and a sauna, so I was very satisfied. The location was also good because it was right in front of the station, and the restaurants nearby were good.

Awesome hotel with gender seprated hot baths and sauna. Great location, walking distance anywhere and convinence store nearby. Rooms are small and not in great shape but are being cleaned and made up daily. It was just fine for me as a solo traveller. Locals love this one and you likely will too.

The location is amazing. The hotel has a carpark and a lovely Japanese style buffet breakfast with a few western options as well. Our room was a non-smoking room, but the smoke smell was there...and at the lobby you could smell an unpleasant fish odor from the restaurant. Level of cleanliness not the best, but still decent. Good value for money.

The breakfast is pretty good, with salad, omelette, salmon🍣, bread... and my favorite natto. It is about 700 meters away from Yonago Station, and it takes about 12 minutes to walk with luggage.
