I stayed to WeBase Hiroshima for two nights and I couldn't ask for a better hostel to stay at! the beds and bathrooms are very clean and the staff is super nice, the potion is perfect for seeing all of Hiroshima without need to take any bus or else, I'd choose it again if I ever find myself in Hiroshima again.

Really good hostel. The dorms are quite large, but with good privacy, though they might get a bit cold at night.

A nice resort hotel with decent dinner menu/buffet style, and osen experience for guests. The rooms are quite old and dated, but they are comfortable and family friendly. The staff are nice and there is a gift shop selling local goodies.

I stayed here for a trip at the end of the year. It was a reasonable plan, and since my room was on the second floor, the view wasn't that great. The hotel felt nostalgic, unchanged from when I last stayed there seven years ago. The atmosphere was comforting, in a good way. These days, many hotels are renovated from apartment buildings, so I'm looking forward to seeing souvenir shops and game centers...

Very aged hotel and the service was very slow

The evening meal and the bar next to the pool were excellent. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The bath was great. It was a shame that it was raining and we couldn't see the sunset.

It is rare to be able to stay in a hot spring hotel at this price. Dinner was served in buffet style with a wide variety of dishes, including freshly fried Tottori Wagyu beef and all-you-can-eat red crab legs, but the crab legs were a bit dry. It was very comfortable. It was my first time staying at the Kannonmachi Annex, but it was clean, well-equipped, and very relaxing.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful with giving us tips on what to do in providing us with a map and timetable of the ferry. Hotel was very clean and accessible !! 

Modernized ryokan with its own onsen. 5 minute walk to the train station, not too many restaurants / bars around the hotel. Lovely garden and nice rooms. The main onsen shouldn‘t be used if you have tattoos but there is a private family bath that can be used with tattoos. The family bath is first come first served, so you might need to wait a while… Breakfast was delicious and plenty!

This was my first time visiting Tottori, and I chose a hot spring inn. With over 100 years of history, it's very well maintained. The rooms were quite spacious, the hot spring was very comfortable, and the best part was the private baths—no reservations needed! The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but that's to be expected given it's an old establishment. 😅

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the facilities are very well-maintained. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious – highly recommend! The two public hot spring baths are fantastic. If you get the chance, definitely try the private onsen as well.

This time, we stayed at the inn to visit relatives in Yonago. My 84-year-old father, my sister, and I were treated to a great deal of hospitality. The staff were pleasant. The room was down a dark alley and tricky to find. In a separate building two blocks from the main accommodations. There was a septic smell which took four hours to disappear! The room was unfinished plywood, difficult to figure out the heating system. Not impressed!

We have just had a great 3 night stay at Soil Setoda a d we loved it. We cycled the Shimanami Kaido and based ourselves in Setoda. The staff were so lovely. Food excellent. Loved our room. It has a lovely simple design edge that we liked. We even purchased some great local pottery. Highly recommend

Connected directly to the bus terminal. Just follow the signs towards the post office to find the connecting passage. It's incredibly convenient! I checked out at 25 past the hour and still made it to the airport bus at 35 past. Highly recommend!

It's hard to find accommodations in this location and at this price. From the bus center platform, take the escalator out to the first floor, then walk along the main road around the building to find the entrance. There are vending machines, ice machines, water purifiers, and more outside the rooms, and overall, it's clean.

Lovely hotel with an amazing location being right across from the South Exit of Shin-Yamaguchi Station. There is no convenience store/konbini in the hotel but there is one across the road and another at the station. It's located right next to Yamaguchi Station and is close to convenience stores and restaurants. The facilities feel a bit dated and lack amenities outside the rooms, but the Wi-Fi is fast and the breakfast is decent.

I would highly recommend anyone doing the shimanami kaido to stay here! It does make for a longer second day to complete the bike ride as it’s before the official halfway point but the hotel it self it absolutely stunning with the onsen we throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.

Location is its biggest advantage- walking distance from Onomichi railway station. Rooms are on the smaller side but have everything you need. The hotel is quite old but clean and well maintained. Note the entrance to the hotel have 6-7 stair steps and you will need to haul luggage up through those steps. Walking distance to plenty of eating places.

The location is good. Not far from restaurants and river. But the hotel lack of public room or place for group of people sit down and relax. Receptionist are not so helpful.

Then, find a map and head to the hotel. The next morning, after a can of coffee, I visited Senkoji Park, making every moment count. We had a class reunion with five old people. We stayed in Tsuyama City for two days and one night, and enjoyed local cuisine, meat, fish, and even sea urchin, as well as sake, beer, and shochu. We also went to karaoke. Tsuyama City is a big city, after all. There was a great coffee shop in the morning.

A good cheap hotel based across the road from JR Hiroshima train station.

Super convenient and just across from the jr hiroshima line. With luggage, about 5 mins - mainly cos the traffic lights are slow. Overall good value. However, it is pretty worn out and even on non smoking floors you can tell some guests still smoked there. The rooms smelled a bit musty. The front desk was nice and helpful and the check out is easy, just toss keys into the box at reception.

I made a reservation on the day and stayed for a night without meals. The building is old, but it was very well cleaned and had a nice feel. As a welcome service, I was given tea and matcha warabi mochi, and after my bath I was given zenzai. It was delicious. Next time I'd like to stay with meals included.
