Yudaonsen Ubl Hotel Matsumasa, Yamaguchi1 / 23
8.7
Chugoku region, Yamaguchi, 3-5-8 Yudaonsen 🧭 Map
The foods are so delicious i never expected it , and it was nice when you arrived at the hotel the staff is guided you through your room and explain you everything. I like to go back again.
The room and meals were all as expected. Notably, the large bathhouse boasts a wide selection of Tabibijin products. I highly recommend the sake lees mask (pictured in Figures 1 and 2) and the blue-bottled toner. The former leaves skin smooth without tightening, while the latter is very moisturizing. The basic set meal here includes pufferfish sashimi, which was highly recommended. However, the front...
After enjoying the hot springs that evening, we enjoyed a kaiseki meal—Yamaguchi Prefecture's famous fugu cuisine. 😋 It was our first time eating fugu. They had fugu sashimi, a small hot pot, fugu chawanmushi, and small fugu tempura. 😅 The waiters were very attentive, explaining the ingredients and cooking methods for each dish so we could savor the flavors. It was much better than our previous experiences...
The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the selection of drinks was good.
Among the Yuda Onsen hotels, this was one I really wanted to visit. While it's older, it was cleaner than I expected, and the service was excellent. The hot springs were also fantastic. My nephew, who was with me, said it was even better than Yufuin Onsen, so we soaked in the hot springs both morning and evening. I usually enjoy buffet breakfasts at hotels, but Matsumasa's breakfast was clean and delicious...
Located in the middle of Yuda Onsen Street, there is a large free parking lot. Since it was raining on the night of arrival, I wanted to put down my luggage in front of the hotel door, but the male staff asked to park the car first. After check-in the staff explained the location of eating and the hotel hot spring, and took me to the ground room and arranged meal time, can let me rest before going...

Setouchi Kojima Hotel Kurashiki, Kurashiki1 / 22
8.3
Chugoku region, Kurashiki, 303-53, Shimotsui Fukiage 🧭 Map
Great for self-drivers, with abundant and spacious parking. Please pre-book the shuttle service when making your reservation. The scenery is breathtaking, with panoramic views of the entire Seto Inland Sea. The onsen pools are generously sized, offering both indoor and outdoor options.
The staff's service, the meals, and the location (especially the view) are all superb.
The staff were very welcoming, the views were beautiful, and it's a very comfortable hotel.
Located on Mt. Washu in Kojima, the views are absolutely stunning, offering panoramic sights of the Seto Inland Sea bridges. It's very close to Washuzan Highland Amusement Park, and they provide a shuttle service back to Kojima Station. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, and there's also a hot spring bath (onsen) available. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the service is impeccable
The shuttle bus for Kojima Station is a red mini-bus. It parks at the taxi stand in the square. There's no designated bus stop sign; it just pulls up informally among the taxis. It runs every 30 minutes, so you just need to wait for it. The dinner at the hotel's first-floor restaurant was quite good. The outdoor hot spring bath on the third floor offered a decent view.
This hotel's location *is* the best viewpoint! You won't even need to visit any other observation decks nearby. Just relax and fully enjoy the hotel's incredible views; you can catch both the sunrise and sunset! And naturally, all the islands of the Seto Inland Sea are laid out before your eyes. What truly stunning scenery!

No extra charge for car parking, welcome drinks are available without extra charge.surrounded by restaurants.nearest convenience store is Lawson, about 5minutes by foot.
Late check-in was also accommodated.
I always use it when I'm working. It's easy to use and I don't find it particularly inconvenient. Unfortunately, the price has risen considerably, and if I paid a little more, I could stay at a tourist hotel with a large public bath and breakfast included, with an early bird discount. Incidentally, the difference in the total price for two nights for three adults is 7,000 yen. Per person, it's just...
There are factories and other things outside the window, so the location is not great. I recommend this hotel for people who just want to stay overnight and sleep. The room smells of cigarettes, but this is only suitable for people who don't mind that. Please note that the restaurants in the area close early.
The bathroom and toilet are modular, but larger than most. The floor is made of a stone-like material, which dries faster than regular plastic, making it very comfortable.
Clean and tidy, delicious food, convenient location, and free parking. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel's location was good, but the rooms feel old. I stayed with breakfast included, so the breakfast was good.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Very friendly and helpful check in staff. Breakfast was reasonable
OK hotel but very expensive for the quality: the equipment is old.
Although the facilities are old, they are good value for money and the rooms are spacious. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Shimonoseki Station, so it's great for walking around.
Been here for just one night and must say great deal for money and you'll get a nice and relaxing place to stay.. Staff were so accommodating. Two thumbs for that.

Arrived at Okayama Airport, got off at the station by airport bus, took Okaden train, left my luggage at the hotel, went to Yamato Restaurant, tried demi-katsu, walked around the art museum, and healed before checking in at 2 o'clock. They gave me a room with a view of Okayama Castle on the top floor. The room was not small, and I was able to spread out my 24-inch suitcase. Since the facility is old...
Not very satisfied. Its main advantage is its proximity to Okayama Castle. The breakfast was okay. The room was old, with no other amenities, and no parking. You have to park in a small alley first.
The facilities are a little old and there are some areas that look a bit discolored, but the rooms and beds are clean and there are no issues. I think the price is a good balance. The area is quiet, so you'll have to move around a bit to find a restaurant.
This hotel boasts a superb location, within walking distance of Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle, with rooms even offering direct city views. While the facilities are somewhat dated, they are well-equipped, providing a variety of shampoos and streaming TVs. The 12 PM check-out time and the underground passage directly connecting to the tram station are highly recommended; its functionality is unparalleled...
Nice hotel, fairly large rooms, and a beautiful view of the castle from the window.
The location is great, very close to the amusement park. The service was also quite good. The facilities are too old; the carpets in the elevators and hallways looked a bit dirty and sticky. The rooms are spacious, which is a plus. The Wucheng Café, which offers breakfast, was a pleasant surprise; the food was very good, and the coffee was also delicious.

The hotel offers daily snacks which I found them very refreshed after a long day travel. Never before did I receive treats like that from a hotel in Japan and this is a first of a kind.
Incredibly big rooms, decent location, decent breakfast and a fair price.
Very like this hotel - very polite staff, everything is clear, good location. I will definitely stay here next time:)
People were nice. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine. Room a touch small for Japan. They have a nice, free, happy hour with Whiskey, and mixed drinks, and little cakes. Coffee available all the time along with juices. A little pricey, but it was a busy Saturday night.
It's not an exaggeration to say that I came here just for Vessel's breakfast. I'm willing to squeeze into such a small room if I can eat unlimited beef sukiyaki and fried oysters at such a price, and also experience the fun of self-made dandan noodles and eel rice. What I regret most is that I arranged the morning schedule and didn't have enough time to eat a lot during breakfast. The building size...

We stayed in Hiroshima for only one night. The hotel has an excellent location, as it is very close to the station. So we arrived, left our bags, and went to visit the city. We left early, so we didn't have breakfast. The rooms are good and comfortable.
The hotel room was good the only concern i have is this japanese girl staff at the front desk i think she's pregnant. I don't know if she is tired or what but i think she doesn't want her job not accommodating and her face frowns a lot. I think she must look for another job she is not fit to do the front desk. 🤔 on the other hand the male staff was very nice 👍
It was a very typical Toyoko Inn hotel. The staff were all polite and stress-free.
The hotel offers a fantastic view. JR station, Shinkansen, and tram stops are all nearby, making it very convenient. The only downsides are the small breakfast area and the single elevator, which means long waits for taxis. Otherwise, it maintains the consistent quality of Dongmo Inn.

Staffs are super friendly and nice facilities. Lived their sister hotel too, also very good and  food even taste better.
Not great, far from it. The rooms are terrible, old-fashioned, and the photos on the website don't match reality. Very disappointed, I won't be going back.
This is a place that can only be reached by car, but it is very serene and unique here The villages outside have beautiful views The room is quite cosy
Every night we were told that our kiseki dinner "has been upgraded" due to us changing to a smaller sea view room than the only mountain view room was available through trip.com. But every night at dinner, every guest were being served the same dishes. Makes us wonder what "upgraded" really means. We stayed for 3 nights, breakfast variety gets boring after the second morning. This hotel is less than a ten-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, located in a very quiet area. It has a large public bath and an abundant breakfast, all at a very affordable price. It's truly my top choice for a hotel in Hiroshima.
Location is great you almost arriving on the same street by using walking bridge from the station. Onsen is hreat and everything refurbished and appear newish. Now what i didnt quite like are doors to capsules , it just impossible to not produce sound while opening them and obviously people staying here to get to station early so you are inevitably be woken...
Great hotel. Comfortable beds, big and clean rooms. Breakfast is included and is close to the train station (5 -10 min walking). Recommended
The hotel's location is ideal, as it’s near JR Hiroshima Station, making it easy to connect with other rail lines, and it’s conveniently close to Hiroshima. The Trust Hotels features an artificial hot spring, but it was too small for the number of guests staying here. The hotel's highlights include its breakfast buffet, which offers a variety of both Japanese and Western dishes. All amenities are...
The capsule room has a large space for the bed, but maybe not enough for storage, depending on the bag you bring. AC worked fine and air circulation was decent. Hotel right opposite the train station with old-fashioned charm. Great price and well-equipped room with fridge and kettle. Private bathroom. Smoking and non-smoking rooms available. Fantastic!
In addition to being old, the setting of the bathroom is very unreasonable, too small, the bathtub is narrow and high, there is not enough space to squat down, the environment is clean, the non-smoking room has no peculiar smell, it is okay to stay for one night
The room is small and old, but the location is first-class
Facility is old.but enough for business purpose.
This hotel is conveniently located across the street from Matsue Station. Front desk staffs were helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. For Japan, it is about an average sized hotel room. They provided toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, hand towels, and bath towels. I had stayed here before and had a good impression, so I stayed here again for the first time in three years. The exterior looks a little old, but the inside is very clean and wonderful. All the food was delicious...
The inside of the building was very clean and the bath was amazing. The polite service made me feel luxurious.
The hot spring was pleasant and the washing area was spacious. I booked with breakfast and dinner included. The price/performance ratio is very high. The room is a bit old, but it does not affect the experience. The hot spring is very comfortable.
