The hotel employee seemed to manage the front desk and the restaurant & bar on the 4th floor by himself, so he called by extension and checked in, but the impression of customer service was also good.
I come to Hokkaido every year, but Hakodate was a particularly nice tourist destination for the first time in two years, so I think I'll be indebted to you next year as well.

Stayed in October 2021. The building is old but clean and no problem if you don't want luxury. I'm sorry to have stayed alone in a large triple room at a bargain price. The location is the best above all. At night, you can enjoy the night view while drinking coffee from the lounge on the 4th floor with the lights turned off.
It really helps that the parking lot is free.
This time I left before 6am and stayed in a hurry, but next time I would like to take some time and relax.

・ I arrived about 15 minutes earlier than the check-in time, but he let me through the room.

・ When I told him that I would climb Mt. Hakodate in a chat at check-in, he investigated the bus to the summit in great detail and told me (the ropeway was out of power).

・ The lounge on the 4th floor was very calm and the view was good, so I had an experience that I couldn't do at other hotels.

・ I feel that the shampoo was better than that of a general hotel (I was very happy with the soberness).

・ Easy access to sightseeing spots such as Kanemori Red Brick, Hakodateyama Ropeway, and churches. Lucky Pierrot and Hasegawa Store are nearby, so it's easy to eat

I stayed for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is the best, within walking distance to Hakodate Park in Motomachi and Bay area. There is no convenience store nearby, but there are Hasegawa Store and Coop Store, famous for being grilled lunch box right on foot. Lappi (lucky clown) can also walk on foot, so it is convenient. The room was small but comfortable and the bed was comfortable. We will put bath slowly in the deep bathtub. It is a pity that the toilet is not a washlet, but there is a washlet toilet on the 4th floor. There is also a lounge with a full view on the 4th floor, and I was happy to be able to drink coffee and tea for free from morning. This consideration was good. Housekeeping was great and I was terribly surprised to have my room cleaned daily for 3 nights. This was my fifth trip to Hakodate and I always used the hotel in front of the station, but it was good to be able to find a hideaway restaurant and coffee shop unique to Motomachi here. I will mark it as a regular lodging in the future
