The hotel is quiet, the room is spacious, clean and has a beautiful view. Forest and mountain view.

The staff was really nice! I was grateful that they were able to accommodate my late check-in! However, there were stink bugs in the room... They have duct tape so if you find any, please wrap them up and throw them away, the front desk told me, and I thought there couldn't be any, but there were two... I heard a buzzing sound coming from the curtains in the morning, so there might have been more. Apparently they swarm in this area in the fall, so I wonder why they get into the room...
The futon didn't look very clean either, but it was cheap, so I guess that's to be expected. All the accommodations in Sapporo were full, so I was glad that I wasn't left without a place to stay.

For better or worse, the staff is hardly involved. It's quite comfortable if you're just staying overnight.

If you're just staying overnight
It can't be helped since the building is old, but the walls inside the room seem thin, so you could hear the snoring of the guests in the next room. The sound when you flushed the toilet was surprisingly loud, and the trickling sound continued for hours until the tank was filled, so there were many things that were bothersome. There were no amenities in the room, so you had to bring what you needed from the lobby.
It was cheap for the summer, so I think it's enough if you're just staying overnight.

We really enjoyed the view from our room which faced the rear of the hotel. There is a mountain view and the sound of a stream that runs behind the hotel was very relaxing!

It was cheap and easy, and everyone at the hotel was kind.
There was a time limit written on the reception, but I had no problem returning late at night, so I was able to spend two nights freely.
The hot spring bath is located opposite so you have to go outside to use it,
but it's only an additional 500 yen so it was fine.

10 minutes by car from otaru chikko station, beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains, trees and a river!
The owners are kind and understanding if you know little japanese. For three people, the rooms are spacious with big windows and a large table. For outside, you can lend boots for the snow.
Overall the experience was beautiful, Reccomended if you want to getaway from the busy environment of the central town. Thank you :)

It's a B&B. It's very clean and the price is cheap. It comes with sanitary napkins in the bathroom. If you need to take a bath, go to the hotel opposite. No food, in Asarigawa Hot Spring
