Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo in Sapporo

The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making access easy. All staff were friendly, welcoming, and able to communicate in English, which made my stay even more comfortable. I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to the premium floor, adding a joyful touch to my last night in Sapporo.

The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of selections, with most ingredients sourced from Japan and Hokkaido. I especially appreciated the unique option of sparkling wine in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk to both the train station and MTR, which made getting around effortless. There are plenty of convenience stores right nearby.

The hotel has a nice quiet vibe, which was perfect after busy days out exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The room itself was a standout, surprisingly big and spacious by Japanese standards. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was still plenty of floor space even after we opened two large suitcases (something that’s almost impossible in most other compact hotels in Japan).

The only downside was the bedding. The duvet (?) was way too thick and heavy for my liking. It made the bed feel quite hot at night, and I ended up sweating a lot despite the AC.

Otherwise, this place was near perfect. Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you’re okay with cranking the AC lower. Solid choice!

The room was clean and bright, and opening the curtains revealed a beautiful view of soft, white snow. It's a convenient 6-minute walk from Sapporo Station, with a 7-Eleven right across the street and Hokkaido University just a stone's throw away. The hotel breakfast is highly recommended; you can choose between a buffet and a Japanese set menu. I especially recommend the Japanese breakfast on the 22nd floor to everyone – the view is absolutely stunning!

The room was very clean and spacious, and the service was excellent. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a kettle, which is a bit of a hassle in winter. It's reasonably close to the JR station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Breakfast was also decent.

The room was spacious enough for two large suitcases. It's a reasonable walk to the JR station, about three blocks away, and it's also convenient for shopping. There's a big Rokkatei store right across from the hotel, and convenience stores nearby.

The twin room was quite spacious, with two 1.2-meter-wide single beds and enough space in between to get out of bed easily. On the other side, I could open my 30-inch suitcase. The price of around 1,000 RMB during the winter holiday, including breakfast, was acceptable. I think Ctrip had a package without breakfast for 600-700 RMB per night. However, those packages need to be booked in advance, which isn't suitable for a traveler like me who needs flexibility. One thing to note is that the duvet didn't have a cover, it was just a sheet over the duvet. It felt unhygienic (because the exposed part was the duvet itself, which isn't changed) and wasn't very comfortable. I was quite bothered by it, but since I was traveling with a child, it wasn't convenient to switch hotels. The heating was very strong, almost too hot for the duvet. The breakfast on the first floor was plentiful, mainly Asian-style.

We stayed 7 nights at this hotel which is very near to the Sapporo station. Overall experience was great. Room was spacious enough to put two large luggages. Definitely will choose this hotel again in our future visit.

I stayed in a 24sqm room, and I thought it was decent, not small at all. There was enough space to open my luggage. Breakfast is served on both the 22nd floor and the 1st floor. If you want the set menu on the 22nd floor for the next day, you can reserve it in advance. The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel shuttle goes directly to the airport, but there was no shuttle due to heavy snow. Also, shuttle tickets can only be purchased on the day of travel, not in advance.

Check-in is after 3 PM, but you can store your luggage or self-check-in. The room is quite spacious. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right across the street, and it's very close to Daimaru Department Store with lots of food options nearby. There's also an airport shuttle bus right outside the hotel's side entrance, which is super convenient.
