Fuji Lake Hotel, Fujikawaguchiko1 / 30
9.0
Fujikawaguchiko, 1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-cho 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool, Heated pool
The room was massive, the lake view was stunning, and it was spotlessly clean. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. We were very satisfied with the hotel, it offers excellent value for money.
Extraordinary service and staff are so helpful. The room is spacious and can see a lake view. Hotel provide free shuttle bus to station. Dinner and breakfast are buffet and food is good
A traditional Japanese-style hotel with an amazing location right by Lake Kawaguchi. Many rooms and the onsen offer beautiful views of Mount Fuji, creating a very relaxing atmosphere
The hotel arranged a very spacious room for me. The buffet dinner was incredibly rich and delicious, and there were free snacks and drinks in the lobby. It was also lovely to relax in the lobby during afternoon tea
The rooms feel slightly dated compared to newer resorts, but they are clean and more spacious than typical Japanese hotel rooms. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful onsen stay with iconic Mount Fuji scenery
Although this hotel is on the pricier side, the overall experience was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a station for the Fuji Lake sightseeing bus, making it easy to get around

There was no parking fee, and the receptionist came to the parking lot to greet us. Check-in was also smooth and we were very satisfied. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and the room was spacious and comfortable
Steak, grilled turban, sushi, tempura, various hot dishes, etc. There are many types of buffet and good content
An older hot spring hotel with a sense of age, but the facilities are well maintained. It includes breakfast and dinner buffets and free drinks. It has a good value for money
Most of the guests are elderly Japanese people
The room is large, and it's within a 10-minute walk from Riyi East Railway Station, so transportation is convenient. Dinner is quite rich, breakfast is just average. Overall good value for money.
I don't want to tell you too much, but as far as the cospa is concerned, it is an excellent facility that is superior to the neighboring I*en Group buildings

It's a villa, very quiet, you need to drive🚗
Hotel is a bit far from the City, but the surrounding have a lot of restaurants for dinning! The most disappointing point are no separate air conditioning in the room, only central air conditioning that you cannot control your room temperature, I have to ask for a fan, the other disappointment is the structure or the floor of the hotel was too thin, you can hear your neighbours from above floor and...
It is absolutely family friendly. I saw families playing bingo scratch games in the hall and kids were super happy. The Chinese lady working in front desk is very friendly and helpful
- there is game arcade too kid likes it - good service - Reasonable price What we don’t like: - Food: we bought breakfast and dinner, dinner portion was huge (2-3 times to what my family normally eat) but quality is so so, I’d rather have fewer but higher quality
After two days we skipped dinner and went out for dinning. Breakfast finishes at 9am which is early and not to my like, we prefer western style more - Clean: the wood cabin is not so clean…
The facilities, the food, it was amazing. I just wished that the snow would have came earlier this year. I did not get to snowboard as planned infront of the hotel. Hotel itself is 10/10. Overall due to no snow, a 8/10.

Although I made a reservation on the same day, they handled it smoothly and provided great support!! I was tired, so I was able to extend my check-out time by paying the extra fee, and I was able to stay comfortably
As the name suggests, the interior is made of exposed concrete and has mural art, making it a stylish hotel. I was concerned about the noise from the next room, but it was within tolerable limits
We didn’t stay at the hotel but we talked to the staff and they were so friendly and kind 🩵🩵🩵
It was good that there was a convenience store nearby
This is a hotel I would like to stay at again
The walls are thin and I can hear snoring from the room next door, but I only used it to drink and sleep at Tenma, so I think it's a good idea to consider the convenient location.

Fujikawaguchiko, 5239-1 Funatsu 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool, Heated pool
Since it wasn't peak season, it wasn't crowded and was very relaxing, with a sauna available. The hotel is quite a distance from Kawaguchiko Station, so getting around isn't very convenient without a shuttle bus
Nice balcony with Mount Fuji view, I added extra requirements for higher floor but the reception didn’t reserve the higher floor room for us. Besides the location is good, a bit far from Kawaguchiko station.
The hotel facilities are a bit old, but very clean. The quadruple room is actually a living room with two extra beds. The front desk staff speak good English, and the breakfast buffet was also very good
The room was spacious, a two-bedroom unit with excellent heating. The bathroom, as always, was great. There's a hot spring bath on the first floor, available morning and evening
Pick-up service can only be booked between 3 PM and 8 PM. In the mornings, they only offer drop-off, not pick-up. This is something to be aware of in advance
The hotel service was quite good, with Chinese-speaking staff patiently answering various customer questions. The hotel offers good value for money

Also, the wall clock made a ticking sound, which I didn't notice when I went to sleep because of the rain, but when I woke up in the early hours it bothered me so much that I couldn't sleep
Unfortunately, it was raining on the day after work, but it was close to the station, so that was a relief. The hotel really feels like an old business hotel, and the facilities are ageing
The bad points are that it doesn't have an auto-lock, no washlet, and the lights only turn on when you insert the stick attached to the key, so it's a bit pricey at just under 9,000 yen
I stayed here on a business trip. The good points are that it's close to Kofu Station, which is convenient for train users, and the water pressure in the shower is fine
I had a hard time choosing a hotel in Kofu; there weren't many, so the only cheap ones I could find were this one and the Toyoko Inn
Breakfast was not a buffet, but a set meal style. It comes with a raw egg, but if you don't like it, they can make it fried for you

After checking in, I was excited to see how spacious the room was. I was happy to be able to watch local programs on TV. The hot spring was quite hot, which was very relaxing
The included onsen is truly public (full of local old ladies) which is the authentic experience I wanted - note that I covered my tattoo using a sticker I brought with me and was able to use the onsen
The staff are elderly which made it all the more impressive how clean our room was, and how much attention to detail we noticed in everything from the clothes to the food - they clearly take great pride in their work
We speak almost zero Japanese and booked the wrong date, but the staff were super welcoming and accommodated us despite that. We had a traditional room with sitting area, and it was HUGE
There was a supermarket nearby, so it was easy to do some light shopping. I didn't have any particular inconveniences, and I thought the price was reasonable for the center of Kagawa
We only stayed one night on our way west but this is a hotel I would 100% recommend if you’re looking for authenticity over luxury. We left feeling relaxed, rested, and well-fed!

NIcE .beautiful and great location!pool and bath facilities are amazing!
The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom 😆—it was huge and spotless, and all the toiletries were brand-name. The hotel is right above a subway station, which made getting around super convenient.
all i can say is WOW! Phenomenal! Highly recommended! This hotel located in the best area in Tokyo easy to get to anywhere The hotel staff will go out of their way to help Rooms super are nice and the bed is huge and very comfortable the breakfast is really good! = We loved it!! and we will go back thanks to all of the hotel staff for an amazing stay that we had
Everything was just perfect, be it the rooms, breakfast, room service, cleanliness or anything else. I highly recommend the Allamanda Aoyama Hotel. Thank you very much for taking such care of me

Stayed with my daughter for one night! We liked everything! The room is large, with a separate toilet and a separate bathroom. There is a table in the room and a table with chairs on the equipped balcony
+ Clean rooms in traditional Japanese style, have everything you need, interesting experience of staying. - The ryokan is still outdated. Check-in is from 16:00, and check-out is until 10:00, which is very inconvenient
On the 6th floor there is a beautiful view of the mountains. It is a pity that access to the veranda is closed - this was very upsetting. There is a gorgeous view and the paths are paved with stones
We went to the onsen in the evening and in the morning. The onsens are located on the 1st and 6th floors - men's and women's. They change every day and it is possible to visit both onsens
The latest breakfast is 08:30, which is too early. This is especially inconvenient for guests who come from Western countries, who have a big time difference
It would be great if the ryokan took this into account and increased the interval for breakfast, and made the check-out at least until 11:00

I really liked the hot spring water; it was very clean, with two pools, one outside and one inside
Breakfast was served individually in the tray instead of the buffet because there were few guests, but if you look closely, the food is probably the same as the buffet content, but it is beautifully served and you can't help but say "Oh"
Good clear and price reasonable, with free refreshment from 3 pm to 11 pm serve at a ver nice chill restaurant at 3rd floor and all the food are very yummy.
This time, for the first time, I opted for a room-only stay as I wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring trip without any interference. (Previously, my best friend and I always chose plans with breakfast and dinner
The facilities, hospitality, service, food, and baths were all excellent. The free lounge was wonderfully well-stocked. The waitresses were trained by Myanmar staff, and their hospitality was also excellent
The hotel's location is very convenient, just a bus stop away. The environment is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the dinner was plentiful and delicious. The breakfast was also plentiful

A perfect inn in every way. It's such a favorite place that I don't even want to tell anyone about it. If I had to say something, I wish we could have used the Kero Sauna and Mist Sauna for a little longer...
We couldn't get enough of the Finnish sauna! We regret not choosing the meal-inclusive plan, but the concierge ordered food for us from a nearby sushi restaurant. I highly recommend this place!
it is meeting expectation, but not exceeding expectation.
Fantastic ryokan inn with great amenities, including baths, saunas, pools, and lounges. Highly recommended if you're planning on staying in the Izu Peninsula.
Nevertheless they didn’t allow us to have dinner or breakfast in the hotel as they said it was fully booked, and when requested for late check in we were asked to pay more
Traditional ryokan located away from town centre. Nice onsen facilities coupled with Good services. Hotel provides free shuttle service to the train station at check out.

I booked a tatami room for three nights almost a month in advance. The hotel is very clean, and towels and yukatas are changed daily. The breakfast set menu is simple
The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but it definitely doesn't affect the overall experience. I absolutely loved the onsen baths here; there are multiple indoor and outdoor baths with various temperatures
The hotel is clean, but the facilities are a bit old. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs. There are two restaurants inside the hotel, and a ramen shop across the street also serves food
Suitable for families with parents; the rooms are spacious, and although the location is a bit out of the way, there's free short-distance parking available, so it's not a problem
There's a free shuttle bus at Saga Station exit, with temporary parking next to the Comfort Hotel. See the picture for the specific times; it's very convenient for getting around
It's about a 15-minute bus ride from the train station

Nozawa Onsen, 8955 Toyosato Nozawaonsen Mura 🧭 Map

There are private onsens onsite, but there is a really great free public onsen right next door which we found great fun and a chance to interact with some of the locals (and if you have been to Nozawa before you will know that there are plenty of free onsens dotted through the village)
The restaurant downstairs, "Hardings" is run by a Australian/Japanese couple who do outstanding food, the breakfast is really great, so too the pastries, sausage rolls and pies (just on the off chance you may need some 'western comfort' food)
Stylishly furnished with an huge lounge room and fully equiped kitchen. The rooms are very spacious with a nice Japanese feel with tatami mats and comfortable mattresses, each with their own en-suite
Kawamotoya is located right in the heart of Nozawa Onsen village and easy walking distance to a whole heap of great restaurants and shops (be sure to book restaurants, it can get busy in winter)
This was our second stay at Kawamotoya, but the first in winter. We stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment with friends which is the largest apartment I have ever seen in Japan
Overall, an excellent hotel/apartment complex. Be sure to check out Nozawa outside of winter as well - there are some excellent walks and it has a super chilled vice

Kagoshima, 4-4-16 Minato, Ibusuki-shi 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool, Heated pool, Rooftop pool
The room is big and clean, but the only downside is that the public bath is not so clean
The staff are polite and the service is good. The environment outside the garden is good. The Japanese-style room is also clean, tidy and well-equipped. Only there is no hot water for taking a shower in the morning
The hotel's decor is somewhat dated. The owner is a kind elderly lady who provides attentive and warm service. The hotel features a large natural hot spring bath, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable
If you want to eat in the evening, you have to go out. The corridor should be undecorated and dusty. But overall, it is a B&B with a separate toilet, and the price/performance ratio is pretty good
While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's meticulously prepared and tastes quite good. In terms of location, the hotel is a bit far from the sand bath onsen
The location can also be reached by walking for 10 minutes from Ibusuki Station or by taking a taxi for 3 minutes

However, even if you prefer not to walk extensively, there's a tram station and a 7-Eleven just a 1-2 minute walk directly outside the property, which is super convenient, especially for solo travelers
The hotel is located right behind Matsuyama Castle, with a hiking trail starting there that leads directly up to the castle, so you don't have to go all the way around to the front entrance
The hotel staff were incredibly kind! I think I messed up dialing the phone and only my voice went through, but before I could figure out what to do, they came to my room to assist me
Being situated behind Matsuyama Castle, it's easily accessible on foot for those who don't mind a stroll, and overall, it offered fantastic value for money!
For transportation, it's conveniently close to Iyo Railway Shimizu-machi Station. If you have a JR Shikoku Pass, you can ride all Iyo Railway trains
Both at check-in and check-out, they were just as lovely. Such great service for an affordable price!

You have to go to the counter to exchange for new towels when there are people at the counter (15-22)
The room was just OK for cleanliness and modernization, however the large, deep tub made up for any other oddness, such as wires coming directly from a rough hole punched in the wall for this purpose
The cleanliness of the room is acceptable, there is a little blood stain on the quilt, the bathroom floor has poor drainage, water will accumulate after taking a shower, it may be so, the bathroom floor is slippery, and the quick cooker is very Oily, the frosting in the refrigerator is very thick, but the price is cheap
It is very close to Naminoue Palace, and there are indeed many custom shops nearby. If you are alone, it is not recommended to stay here. If you can accommodate the price, you can consider it
Both the room and the toilet are big. If you stay for three nights in a row, there will be no housekeeping to clean the room

However, there were mostly Westerners, so it might not be suitable for those who are very socially anxious. The owner communicated entirely in English, which was fine as the words used were quite simple
Great hostel and service, but sometimes very crowded and noisy (organized groups sleep here all the time), earplugs needed:) Close to Ueno, shops, restaurants and sento! Recommended!
But when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the facilities didn't feel old at all; they looked exactly like the official photos

The hot spring facility, which is frequented by many locals, was also great. The toilet in the room didn't have a washlet, which was a bit of a problem for me as I tend to get stomachaches
Everything was very good. However, I wish the hotel would pay attention to the loud noises of the drunk people in the room across the street until 11pm for two days.
I stayed at the hotel with a one-night stay and two-meals plan. The facilities are old, but the staff are energetic and hospitable, and it was a comfortable stay
Good price for a hotel. The onsen is also good. We got the breakfast option, which was also delicious
Two downsides; we didnt have the option to pick smoking or non-smoking rooms (and wound up in a room where the smell was strong), and we couldnt boil water in the room, as boiling water is only available in teapots from the restaurant
However, the attractive hot springs and dining area make up for all those shortcomings. This time I ordered à la carte rather than dinner. The hot springs are also fantastic, with water directly from the source
