The rooms are clean. It's just that you can't change the AC setting. It was warmer on the day we checked-in.
The AC is in heater (暖房) we asked if it can be changed to cool (冷房) they say it's not possible because the units are centralized. They shut the heater in our room, but it's still hot. We'll be taking an exam tomorrow so we're hoping to get a good night's rest. It's very impossible. We tried opening the windows but there is no breeze outside and there's ongoing construction at the moment.
If you're thinking of staying here, just note that there will be construction until December 25, 2023.

A decent city hotel located near to Honmachi stn. It's easy to confuse with Honmachi Eki-Mae 「Tower」, which is more taller and more popular to foreigners. Conpared to that, the room size seems to be smaller and there are not so much convenience facilities such as Family mart. However, still, the service including room cleaning is perfect. And, overall, the room is quiet.

Woke up with a sore back from the wonky mattress, did not sleep well. Worst night of the vacation. Wife found signs of bed bugs in the room, could not leave fast enough. Requested non-smoking room due to wife’s asthma and received confirmation that this would be accommodated. Upon arrival, we were put into a smoking room and were told that there were no non-smoking rooms available. Hotel concierge laughed at us when we kept asking for any help, kept telling us there wasn’t anything they could do. If I could rate this place lower I would, and would recommend avoiding any APA Hotel in the future.

Staffs were helpful and generous. Room typically small as Japan has limited space. Breakfast is great. Location is great but you have to use stair from train...No elevator.... that's the tough part if you have big luggage. Price is reasonable, compared to Location and service...APA changed a lot after COVID-19, mostly in a good way. Keep making better

We stayed for a few nights over Christmas. The room was clean but extremely small. Staff had no English but were more than happy to use Google Translate when it came to adding unforeseen additional charges. It was very awkward having staff handing out product samples to only the Japanese guests. It was a great location for a great price, but definitely not westerner friendly.

Was not a fan... could not sleep because of the terrible pillows and heater that would not turn off. Clean though.

Solid and good hotel for the price! The reason for three stars is that there were mold visible on fittings in the bathroom. Other then that the hotel is up to the Apa standard of well run, wonderfully staffed and easy to use living accommodations for normal working people visiting or doing their job in Osaka.

Service are great! And the location is best! However, 2 stars deducted from the room size and comminication for EN speaker is quite low . But overall recommended for those who stay for short term and close to hommachi station midosuji, Chou and blue line(forgot the name)
