That day was quite cold. Hence,we asked my father ( 84 years old man) and my young daughter to stay in this hotel lobby and wait for us. My husband and I have to go and find the restaurant we booked nearby. About 15 minutes later, we came back and found out they were shivering outside the hotel. We asked them why don't they wait in the hotel lobby. They told us that they have been chased away by the front desk staff of the hotel. I was really stunned. Japanese is famous for hospitality. And this is the first time facing such disheartening situation. Never have I imagine such heartless thing can happen in a highly rated hotel. The front desk staff's attitude was really arrogant. My father and daughter was sitting quietly in an empty lobby. The female front desk staff kept staring at them with an unfriendly face. After awhile ,she asked her male colleague to ask whether they were waiting for the hotel guest or they were hotel guests themselves. My father thought that the restaurant we were going to was within the hotel premises. Hence, he told the staff that they're waiting for us to bring them to the restaurant. The staff then said the coffee shop is closed and they don't have any business to stay in the lobby. They were then usher out of the hotel lobby! So ridiculous!
I think the hotel should retrain their staff to have more politeness and compassions towards all people. They might not be their guests today but they might be someday! In service industry, this is not the way to treat people! Hopefully, all people can show a little kindness towards others especially the old , the young and the needy ones!

I like Königskrone sweets, and when I found out there was a hotel there, I stayed there for one night on business. It's a short walk from Sannomiya Station through a shopping street, but there are many different shops lined up, and personally, I was happy to find a Korean food store nearby. There was also a bakery that looked delicious, although I didn't go there. Although I checked in late at night, I was very grateful to receive welcome sweets (parfait). Also, when I entered the room, I saw Kumapochi-kun on the bed, cup, etc., which was very cute. I was also looking forward to breakfast the next morning, and it was even better than I expected. I like bread, so there's a lot of variety, and they make omelettes for me and serve delicious beef stew. I was also happy to have dessert and was very satisfied. The staff were very kind, and this hotel is especially recommended for female guests. When I checked out, I realized how popular the restaurant was with a long line outside for the lunch buffet.

The rooms were spacious and it was interesting how they were themed. I loved the scent of the hand soap. The breakfast didn’t disappoint at all. The service was wonderful - staff members gave their best to speak in English, even if I was fluent in their language, and I’m truly appreciative of their effort.

A hotel I've always wanted to stay at! There were Kuma Pochi-kun stuffed animals everywhere in the hotel, which really got me excited. All the staff members were very courteous. Some things I noticed were: -The building as a whole seemed to be showing its age.・I don't have many rice-based items for breakfast. (I guess it can't be helped since bread and sweets are the main items.) I was a little surprised that there wasn't any Japanese food at all. There were some interesting combinations of sweets, such as coffee jelly with red bean paste, but overall they were delicious... Recommended for those with a super sweet tooth! The omelet was very tasty. It was interesting that there was a white ball inside.

1. Lunch buffet includes salad, bread, drinks (coffee, tea, or juice), and one main dish
2. Starts from 11:00 to 14:30
3. Sometimes if there is an occasion, advance reservation is better to ensure seats
4. Wide selection of bread and drinks
5. Place was really cozy but sometimes crowded during weekends
6. Rate for lunch buffet is 1800 円 plus tax

Although room is not that big, but clean and cute. Good interior and service. Welcome drink includes some cookies, and breads and sweeties in breakfast are delicious.
