Kobe, 1-1-14 Kitanocho, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's about a 10-minute walk from Shin-Kobe Station, and it's down a hill, so it was a little hard to find at first, but the room I stayed in was equipped with a 7-step stool and handrails for diagonal steps, so I felt it was barrier-free and well-equipped. As someone with disabilities in both my left upper and lower limbs, it was easy to use and I had a comfortable stay. The food was also excellent...
I stayed here without meals. It was very clean. They also helped me store my luggage and the service was excellent, so I had a very pleasant stay. Getting there from Sannomiya Station is uphill, so it can be a bit difficult if you're carrying a suitcase.
The food at the restaurant downstairs is pretty good.
The room is spacious and clean. It is close to both Shin-Kobe Station and Sannomiya Station, which is nice.
This is my favorite hotel. It's not new, but it's well-cleaned and the front desk staff are very friendly.
The environment is indeed very nice, and the service is top-notch.

The hotel is conveniently located, clean and hygienic, and the service is exceptionally friendly and courteous. On Sunday, we had many couples and families with young children checking in. After check-out, the hotel even arranged for us to take photos with people dressed in formal kimonos who looked like flower petals… a truly heartwarming and touching experience. Highly recommended! I would definitely...
It was a bit disappointing that there was no Korean patch, but overall it was a good accommodation.
It is our first experience in ryokan. Extremely nice and cute, nearly no one speaks English, but it makes time in Hotel more interesting! Traditional room, good onsen (i personally prefer the one on the rooftop) and not crowded.
We had Beef Kobe dinner and it was good and interesting, we didn’t understand a half of ingredients in some dishes, but still enjoyed our time!
Complementary tea/coffee/soft...
There aren't many Korean reviews on Trip.com. The staff really don't speak English... It feels like a lot of locals go there. It's a bit tricky if you don't speak Japanese well. Breakfast is also explained in English as "this is rice" or "this is soup." Enjoy it. Speaking Japanese, it's easy to check small details like whether a raw egg will be placed on top of the rice.
On the first day of check...
This isn't a traditional, historic hot spring hotel, but rather a modern one. The rooms are nice, and the dinner and breakfast are quite generous. However, the hot springs are average (only three types available). The upside is that the rooms have semi-open-air baths. Relatively speaking, the prices are a bit high, so I wouldn't recommend it.
I have never been to a ryokan before, so I can't really rate the quality of service. But if you measure it as a regular hotel, it's very good. There are onsen on the first and top floors, indoor and outdoor respectively. There is a buffet where you can have a snack of desserts, but nothing more.

Nice little rokyan and price is cheaper than nearby hotels.
Very nice stay, very helpful staff. Great location and great onsen, one golden and one silver.
Just a little down note for me would be the very old and noisy AC in the room. But maybe that was just in my room.
So be mindful when you choose yours.
But over all very nice !
I have always longed for Arima Onsen, and this time I came to Japan and finally had the opportunity to realize my wish. The environment of the town is great, and the food is rich. The hotel is an old Japanese inn, but it is very clean. Every time I go there, it is basically a special session. The gold and silver baths are very comfortable, great!
It was a very good accommodation experience. The old Japanese hot spring hotel was just as I expected. The location was also very good, a very quiet area. The restaurant opposite was delicious. You need to queue up early before it opens.
A very Japanese-style hot spring hotel, relatively small, with two indoor pools, one gold bath, one silver bath, and one outdoor. The waiters are all elderly. The food is very exquisite, although there are no expensive ingredients in the package.
The location is very convenient for travel. You can enjoy the golden hot spring. One night and two meals are very classic

Kobe, Higashinada-ku Mikagehonmachi 7-6-17 (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This was my second time staying here, and I loved it! I even got to enjoy a bubble bath, which was a real treat. It's so affordable, even on weekends, so I'll definitely be returning!
The bed creaked terribly, but otherwise, I had no complaints.
The value for money was good. Unfortunately, only smoking rooms were available, and the strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke was quite bothersome.
It is a comfortable stay near to Mikage station.
Overall, it's good. It's just a bit old. The hygiene is average. But the room is quite big. The price-performance ratio is quite high. There are big windows and the sun is very bright. It's much better than a commercial hotel. But it's a bit old. I should choose an old hotel next time if I go on a business trip nearby. Will stay there again
Equipment, customer service, rental items
It was very good.

Kobe, 2-5-16 Kano-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room is small but fine for solo traveler.
However, the bathroom is too small for an adult. The bathroom door was barely closed when I was on the toilet bowl. The bathtub & shower space is also very cramped for an adult.
The hotel was excellent, comfortable, and reasonably priced – a great value for money. It's one of the few hotels I could find during this time of year, and I hope to find another one with such high value next time.
The location is ideal, within a 10-minute walk down a slope from Sannomiya Station. It's worth the price of a three-star hotel in a second-tier city. However, the service attitude of one male staff member at the reception desk could be improved, while the rest of the staff were very polite and friendly.
Since it's in Sannomiya, I was able to get there without getting lost. I was able to make a reservation the day before, and a room without meals was sufficient.
There were no particular issues.
The only thing that bothered me was that there was some moldy staining on the back of the edge of the sink and on the top and bottom of the bathroom door.
The texture and scent of the towels were not very good.
It was raining so the umbrella rental service was good.
After checking out, we were able to make plans while enjoying the free drinks in the free space.
I was glad that it was a little cheaper than the surrounding area.
The facilities and services were
minimal for business trips, but fine.
It is located between Shin-Kobe and Sannomiya stations, so it is not exactly close to the station, but it is within the acceptable range.

We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel!
This was a wonderful experience! Although we only spent 1 night here, as this was meant to be an overnight stop between cities in our travel road trip, this left such a good impression on us, that we would like to come back to Akashi just to stay in this hotel again.
The architecture and the hotel design is very cool, 50's kind of vibe, but it's new of course...
The hotel has a beautiful view, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The room decor is very stylish, and the appliances are all the latest. The service was excellent, and I had a great rest. We opted for breakfast in the room and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset there – it was wonderful. There's also a self-service snack bar with drinks on the 3rd floor – don't miss it! If the weather is nice, be...
The location, food, and service were all excellent.
The view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge right in front of us was spectacular! We spent a relaxing time watching the ever-changing scenery.
Because it was all-inclusive, we were able to freely use alcohol and snacks in the lounge. Highly recommended!
Excellent hotel for a weekend trip, the room is huge and as a soda chair and table. The lounge offer you wine, beer, juices, milk and lots of snacks like peanut, cookies, coffee , tea,ect excellent Location. Breakfast was wonderful.

My room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The service was excellent. Even though my room was beside the elevator, it was perfectly quiet. The location was great, just a five-minute walk to Sannomiya Station,
It was so cold. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a traveler who has a hard time finding a place to stay or is on a tight budget due to a sudden visit to Osaka.
Close to Sannomiya Station. Restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, everything. Very conveniently located hotel. A little dark, which makes the hotel look bad. If the lights were a little brighter,
The hotel is located about 400 meters from Sannomiya JR station. Chinatown is 1.5 kilometers and the Kobe port tower about 2.5 kilometers.
The service was exceptionally good, courteous and helpful. The front desk saw me bringing some Ramen noodles and gave me a teapot.
The room was comfortable and large enough.

Kobe, 858 Arima-onsen (13 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This was my favorite hotel during my trip to Japan. The elegant and pleasant environment, the golden hot springs, and the kaiseki cuisine were all unforgettable. The attention to detail in the service made me feel completely relaxed and happy. It was a truly memorable time, and I will definitely choose this onsen hotel again if I have the chance.
absolutely beautiful~
Nice service
Quite and comfortable
Cleanliness: The room had bugs; I killed 3 on the first night.
Service: The service was very thoughtful. They helped carry luggage into the room and even set up the tatami. At check-out, they proactively helped take luggage to the front desk.
Facilities: It's a very old wooden house. You can't make loud noises at night, as it genuinely disturbs others.
Environment: It's very close to Arima Onsen Station...
This was our first experience, our first time at an onsen and ryokan. The hot springs were superb. The room was Japanese-style. Dinner and breakfast were also new to us.
Had such an amazing experience at this ryokan! Everything was wonderful - the room, the service, the onsen and the dinner. Highly recommend! There was a brief misunderstanding at check-in, but resolved in no time. The staff is amazing!
The hotel staff provided incredibly attentive and thoughtful service, and the rooms were well-appointed and very comfortable. The Japanese aesthetic was beautifully reflected throughout the architecture, rooms, dining, and service, making for a truly fantastic experience. Its location is also superb, being very close to both bus and subway stations, which makes shopping incredibly convenient.

Stayed here again. It's conveniently located and clean. However, the breakfast and dinner package isn't as elaborate as it used to be.
Great location, right on a shopping street. The dinner was especially good and very filling.
Nice Services. A staff can speak fluent Cantonese! Well done dinning for both breakfast and dinner served with Kobe beef!
Chinese-speaking staff at check-in and during meals were a definite plus. This hotel offers great value for money, with spacious榻榻米 rooms. The rooftop onsen, featuring both gold and silver baths, was a fantastic experience. The price included both breakfast and dinner, and the meals were very traditional Japanese; some dishes were delicious, while others weren't quite to my taste.
The onsen is smaller but the effect I guess is better . Also they provide all the amenties generously like shampoo shower gel hair treatment facial milk etc .
Location is very near train station. Dinner and breakfast are good, especially Dinner food are more than enough. Onsen are good.

We had a wonderful stay here.
The Osen, facilities , services were good however the room setup lighting would need some upgrade for better ambience & mood on such a nice setting & locations as it does not have cove effect, dimming or warm light.
One of my favorite hotels during my trip to Japan
The hotel service is very good, free pick-up and drop-off, free bus ticket booking, average food, small pool
Really good! Very unique, I like the hot spring hotel very much, the scenery outside the window is pleasant and beautiful! If you like a leisurely and quiet place, you can choose this place👍
The price/performance ratio is extremely low. The hotel facilities are the lowest among all the places I have visited in Japan. I highly do not recommend it. 5000+ for three people a night, the shuttle bus will not come to pick you up until after 3 o'clock. I see that other hotels in the hot spring area have on-demand shuttle services. It's a very ordinary, old tatami room. The area is not very large...
It was worth the trip~~!!!
Although it is on the mountain, there is a car to take you to the town at the foot of the mountain.
You can make an appointment for a private bath every hour, but there is actually no one in the public bath~
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all very rich and impeccable~ You can also experience Yukata and tatami.
There is a service staff who works in Taiwan and helped us...

Always nice and big room size.
The hotel is so very cozy and our room is so big and look so luxury i love it! the onsen is so great my husband and i really refreshed and relax the onsen but its too far from our room and i really love the gelato icecream its so really good! but over all the hotel is so nice looking for to come back and stay again thank you!
Thus is a love hotel For privacy, this hotel was built on top of a hill. You must drive! There is no public transport It takes at least 30 minutes from Shintetsu Rokko Station to walk up the hill. They only provide breakfast. Luckily they served me an all day breakfast upon my arrival cause I arrived in the evening !
The room is very good! Clean , comfortable, fridge ,big tv screen , lightings ...
Hotel amenities quite good. Not near to city but if going to rokkosan, is quite convenient
This was a good place but the location was on the mountain which was a little far from restaurants. Definitely not a place to take your children, there was a massager on the table. But a nice hotel with friendly staff.
A love hotel close to the Mt Rokko Observatory Deck for night view. The roads around the hotel are hard to navigate. If the price is right, it's a good choice with free parking.

Kobe, 1007, Arima-cho, Kita-ku (13 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The private onsen was super convenient, and the room itself was very spacious. There was even a charming little garden right outside the door, perfect for photos! Breakfast was a set menu and quite substantial.
The staff were incredibly friendly. I accidentally left something behind, and they kindly responded to my inquiries and even sent it back to me by mail, which I really appreciated.
Not a bad ryokan. The rooms are large and cozy, with comfortable beds and pillows. Inside the ryokan, there are two small private onsens. They're a bit worn out. You can also access the public onsen for free, which we actually preferred. We skipped the kaiseki dinner and just had breakfast. It was a pretty tasty and filling traditional breakfast.
An excellent, authentic ryokan. Friendly staff. Interesting kaiseki breakfasts and dinners. There are two private hot springs in the ocean—access to both is included in the room rate. You can also use the onsen at the nearby partner ryokan. The village of Arima Onsen itself is beautiful! Be sure to visit the park and ride the cable car up Mount Rokko.
This is a quaint traditional hot spring hotel. Because it is not very large, it only has 2 indoor hot springs (but you can use the outdoor hot spring in the main building), and the indoor hot spring is relatively small. As for the food, the portions are not too big and the ingredients are not very high-end, but the taste is good. As for the service attitude, except for the female waiter I met when...
The hotel service attitude is very good, the hotel location is good, the staff is very friendly and will inform you that you can take a free hot spring bath in Taoquan Goshofang. The breakfast and dinner are also very delicious

There were two people at the front desk, and they were very helpful. It was a smoking room, but I was surprised that there was no odor when I entered. While it wasn't a problem for me, the bathtub seemed small for men, and there was only one elevator, so I had to wait a bit.
Friendly staff , clean hotel and easy to find
This is THE noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. It faces a busy road and you can hear every car and motorcycle that goes by, and every pedestrian that talks on the street below you, however late at night. The windows are only one pane thick, so they're neither soundproof, nor thermally protective.
It's a pity because the staff are very friendly.
The unit was a little small, but the room was clean and comfortable.
Kobe, hot springs ♨️ are great, and the breakfast is substantial. The rooms are quiet and you can get a good night's sleep. I'll definitely come back.

The room was generally clean. It was a shame that there were burn marks on the tatami mats, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room (probably the fault of the smokers), but there was no smell, so it was fine. I wanted to sleep well, but the window only had a shoji screen, so it was too bright and I had to wake up. Also, I could hear quite a bit of noise from the next room, which was bothersome
The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The suite was spacious
Love the location very close to the center and public transport. Onsen is very clean .. definitely book a room with the onsen in the room, solo traveler can reserved a private time on schedule. The hostess is very helpful and speak English .. at night the security lock the front door please take note of the number to help you get in . Have a nice stay 😉
Great little hotel with very friendly staff.
Excellent value with free natural Spa (hot water with healing powers emerging from the ground) and an excellent Japanese breakfast (see picture). A few minutes' walk from the bullet train station.
Highly recommended.

Okay. Good friendly service. The place is a bit uphill

I like Königskrone sweets, and when I found out there was a hotel there, I stayed there for one night on business. It's a short walk from Sannomiya Station through a shopping street, but there are many different shops lined up, and personally, I was happy to find a Korean food store nearby. There was also a bakery that looked delicious, although I didn't go there. Although I checked in late at night...
The rooms were spacious and it was interesting how they were themed. I loved the scent of the hand soap. The breakfast didn’t disappoint at all. The service was wonderful - staff members gave their best to speak in English, even if I was fluent in their language, and I’m truly appreciative of their effort.
A hotel I've always wanted to stay at! There were Kuma Pochi-kun stuffed animals everywhere in the hotel, which really got me excited. All the staff members were very courteous. Some things I noticed were: -The building as a whole seemed to be showing its age.・I don't have many rice-based items for breakfast. A very nice hotel, located on a hill, with a wonderful view from our second-floor room. The room itself was spacious and very clean. Quaint hotel to stay while exploring Arima Onsen. The private onsen and sauna was great and highlight was the dinner too. Enjoyed my stay here. No lift so bring light luggage, short walk from bus station
The hotel is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene atmosphere. The condition of the bedroom and the onsen room looks even better than in the pictures. There are two private onsen baths, and the wait time wasn’t long at all. You can enjoy a relaxing soak before bed and again in the morning.

excellent onsen hotel! despite its difficult location, they provide shuttle service probably from anywhere around arima station (but you gotta have a JP phone number and you speak japanese).

Pleasant stay. French style dining was impressive.
The hotel waiters are very nice! But the location is a bit bad and the room does not have a shower room! The meal was extremely delicious! Driving is okay!
During the trip to Kansai, I experienced the legendary Arima Onsen. I chose the Japanese-style room package of Zicui with one night and two meals. I can only say that my expectations were too high, which led to a gap in the experience. The cost was close to 1,500 per person per night. The room was nice and new, but there was no shower room, which was a bit inconvenient.
The bath area was on the underground...
The environment is very good, very comfortable, and the service is good. The only thing is that it is not close to a convenience store. If you want to buy snacks, you have to buy them in advance before checking in.

It’s the second time staying in this onsen. It’s overall good. We stayed over the weekend and the onsen was very crowded. Other than that, it was great.
Located in a hot spring town, I visited on a weekday, so it was pleasantly uncrowded. The ambiance was incredibly pleasant, and the soak was wonderfully relaxing. I'd love to go back for another soak!
