Environment: Arima Onsen has a nice environment. Since it's primarily a carbonated spring, there's no rotten egg smell like sulfur. The town is easy to explore and well-developed commercially.

Cleanliness: Although we booked a traditional Japanese onsen ryokan (traditional Japanese inn), we requested a twin room. The room was quite large, very clean and tidy, and we didn't have to worry about not being able to unpack our luggage or having limited space to walk around.

Service: The service was truly exceptional. They provided shuttle service throughout our stay and even delivered our luggage. When we needed to take the cable car to the top of Rokko Mountain, they also provided transportation. They were very helpful in answering our questions about attractions.

Facilities: Kotori is a very small onsen ryokan with only 8 rooms. So, although the rooms aren't small overall, there's no bathroom or toilet in the rooms. We knew beforehand that there wouldn't be a toilet in the rooms, but after checking in, we definitely felt the inconvenience. Breakfast was eaten in the ryokan lounge, and dinner was at a sister ryokan, a 3-minute walk away, where the facilities were much more luxurious.

Second time staying here. Although the location is far, there is a special car to pick you up after arriving in Arima area. The price is reasonable. One night and two meals are provided. The portions are sufficient and very delicious. The place is clean and quiet. It is a good choice.

Extremely disappointed with the service quality and attitude of Xiaoduli Hotel. The room rate is at least 50,000 yen per night, but there is not even the most basic private bathroom and toilet. Is the housing price reasonable? Do you feel guilty about it? The platform did not clearly state such situations when booking, which clearly shows its intention to mislead consumers. In addition, I had already paid in full on the platform, but was asked to pay again after arriving. It would be a huge inconvenience to empty the 200,000 yen in my wallet all at once. The platform also does not clearly state the information, and the information is extremely asymmetric. What is the purpose of collecting a 100% deposit?
When I raised the issue, the staff were indifferent and unhelpful. He said there are public bathrooms available for reservation, but my mother is already 60 years old and still has to go down the stairs to take a shower and then go up the stairs back to the room. Do the staff consider me in her shoes? The staff shirked their responsibilities and had no sincerity in addressing our requests and complaints. What’s more, how can the staff be a receptionist if they can’t even understand simple English?
The overall experience was totally inconsistent with the hotel's charges, which seriously affected my trip to Arima Onsen. I will not stay here again, nor recommend anyone to choose this accommodation. I am extremely angry about the hotel hiding some of their information from Trip.com. Please be careful!

Stayed in a private bath room, but the room was very small, the bath was like a bathtub, and it looked different from what I thought when I booked the room. I thought it had hot spring bath, but it turned out to be a public bath. The food was delicious, and the environment was quiet, but it was not possible to check in ten minutes earlier. It was inconvenient to have to go to a second place for dinner.

The hotel room has a built-in hot spring, which is well equipped and convenient. To use the large hot springs and baths, you have to walk a few minutes to the sister store, which is a bit inconvenient and cold. The food is good, although there is not much beef, but everything else is good. Better than cost-effectiveness

There is only one bamboo curtain for the curtain, which will wake you up in the morning! Not recommended for light sleepers!
-Only the room has air conditioning, the rest of the place is extremely hot and has no air circulation!
-The pillows are very hard, which is uncomfortable to say.
-There is no toilet in the room!
-The sheets were wet with 10ml of water, and I was fined 5,500 yen!
-The clerk's English is very poor, but the driver is very good!
-To soak in the hot springs, you have to go to the nearby store!
-The hot spring bleach water smells very strong!
-There is an additional tax for bathing in hot springs!

Arima Onsen is very quiet like this family-style hotel. There are private hot springs across the street and public breakfast and dinner, which are very rich! The choice this time was really correct. The whole family had a great time.

Not a bad experience. The hotel provides free round-trip transfer service, but you can only contact the hotel from 1430 on the day of arrival. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine, mainly fish dishes, and you need to walk to the sister hotel nearby (1-2 minutes away) to enjoy it. Breakfast is a set meal and you need to stay in the hotel to eat. The open-air hot spring included in the room is very good and the hygiene level is satisfactory. Other details (including seasonal menus) can be viewed in advance on the hotel's official website.

I booked a room with private soup (the rooms with private soup are very small), and the sanitation score is 4 because Japan is relatively strict, and the disinfectant at the door is a bit dirty. There is no elevator, so it is not very friendly to those who live on the second floor.
The hotel is small and refined. Dinner is eaten at the sister hotel [御兴荘花结び], which is a one-minute walk away. Breakfast is on the first floor of the store.
Arima Onsen is divided into gold soup (sulphur) and silver soup (carbonic acid), Kotori Arima is silver soup, and Miyuki Sohanagiび is gold soup, you can choose according to your own needs.
